Enjoy the peacefulness of El Cortez on Mustang Island, just three miles south of Port Aransas. This newly remodeled, one-bedroom second-floor condo is nestled within the tropical landscape and offers all of the amenities of a home. With all new furniture, the open living room is made up of a large couch, loveseat, an overstuffed matching leather armchair, a TV, and a sliding glass door to the balcony. The full kitchen is equipped with all things needed to prepare a meal with granite countertops, white cabinets, appliances, a Keurig and drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. Sit down for meals at the dining table with seating for four and three additional stools at the breakfast bar. The master bedroom (BR1) contains a King bed, nightstands, a closet, a dresser, a bench, a corner rocker, and a TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a vanity, tile tub/shower unit, and a stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. Just off of the kitchen area is a custom built-in Twin bunk bed, for small children Only. Take in the ocean breeze while sitting out on the balcony with your morning coffee or cold beverage. This complex offers a new golf cart-accessible boardwalk to the beach. After a day of fun at the beach, cool off in the shared pool, or grill up snacks and dinner on the shared grills. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and fishing charters.

The location was great as well as the cleanliness and communication. If I had a recommendation, it would be to have more towels and wash cloths. Other than that, not complaints!

Very nice size one bed-one bath. Very spacious. Really enjoyed the space. Clean. Quiet neighborhood. Pool was nice. If you plan to cook, bring a frying pan or two. I bought some at Dollar General down the street. Having the boardwalk to the beach was a nice perk. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was incredibly clean. Perfect for our little vacation! Adequately stocked kitchen too. My only *minor* complaint is that there were only two bath washcloths. In a room designed to hold 4, that’s not quite enough. But otherwise perfect.

Clean and close to the beach
Loved the spacious decks and we could walk to Cinnamon Shores to eat dinner one night. The bunks were so cute, our son loved them!

Wonderful stay
Wonderful spot for a quiet beach getaway. Arrived and departed before the rowdy spring break crowds. Condo was clean, safe area, great amenities. Bring own laundry detergent, in-unit washer & dryer were a great bonus! Will be coming back!

Easter Vacay
Was perfect for our needs and property manager immediately replaced refrigerator when it died. We’ll definitely stay there again.

Perfect spot for a getaway
We had a great stay and felt comfortable our entire stay. The small space didn't feel cramped at all. It was open and well appointed plus the two decks allowed us to spread out even more. The management company was very thorough in their instructions and everything from check in to check out was seamless.

Good stay
The condo was great. Very quiet complex, easy parking and easy boardwalk to the beach. The unit was clean and well furnished. The check in/out instructions were detailed and easy to follow. We had a great time.

The condo was very clean, just the perfect size for me and my husband. The large patio was great! Easy walk to the beach! We enjoy our long weekend.

Quick mid week stay
very nice. Been staying at el cortez for 30 years. second time since the hurricane and both were very nice. the remodels did wonders for the propery

Wonderful Condo 2 Balconies
We loved it here! Bigger inside than what pics show. Very roomy with nice kitchen, comfy bed and hot shower. Loved how big the balcony was and that their was an additional separate one up front. Highly recommend

This villa is absolutely impeccable! As soon as you walk in you can tell that it’s a well taken care of property. I really like how we were able to walk to the beach and then rinse off all the sand at the outdoor rinse area. The beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The community is quiet and private!

Vacay Vibes
We loved this place! It was perfect for my family of 3 and my son LOVED the bunk beds. Everything was so clean and better than we expected. We never needed anything but had great communication with the property manager and beach gear rental. Th location is great and so convenient to EVERYTHING! The A/C worked great and the property had convenient outdoor shower/wash stations. to prevent sand from being in the unit! We will definitely stay there again.

Convenient to Beach
This was a nice place to stay. Close to the beach, pretty spacious place. Only downside is it sleeps 6 but only has one restroom and it’s only access is through the master bedroom. That part was pretty inconvenient especially when you’re traveling with your teenagers and they need to use the restroom overnight or early morning.
Host responded quickly with any questions we had. If one restroom isn’t a deal breaker for you, this is a really cute place to stay.
