Welcome to Pelican Place, an ideally situated vacation home with a private pool and game area three blocks from Bean Pointe Beach and Bayfront Park. This Anna Maria rental has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living area has plenty of seating for you and all your guests to relax, watch tv, and discuss Anna Maria Island activities. The fully equipped kitchen has island seating and opens into the dining area, where you and your guests can delight in homemade meals or the best Anna Maria Island take-out. The screened-in balcony is perfect for enjoying the tropical breeze and island-inspired drinks.

The primary bedroom is bright and airy, with an ensuite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, double vanity, and a tub. The second bedroom has light coastal hues and ample space for vacation necessities. The third bedroom is ideal for younger or single travelers and has a tv for late-night entertainment. The second and third bedrooms share the hallway bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a washer and dryer to keep vacation outfits looking fresh.

First time at Anna Maria Island

This was our first time at Anna Maria Island. We will be back. The home was met our needs, the location was great, it was clean and well equipped for everything you will need for your stay! We enjoyed our time at the beach and coming back to the house for time at the pool and relaxing in the evening. We will be back again!!

Girls Trip

This property served as the absolute perfect girls trip getaway. The location is fantastic. The house is clean and well stocked. We had our golf cart to zoom around in. Having the pool to relax in while the toddler napped came in clutch! We had coffee and breakfast out on the screened in porch. Would love to come back!

Beautiful, clean house, walking distance to the beach

This house was beautiful and clean. It was spacious, for our family of 8's vacation. We loved the private pool! Our teenagers enjoyed the ping pong, darts, and foosball table. Short walking distance to Bean Point Beach. Very easy check in / check out process. Loved our stay! Would highly recommend!

Perfect Quick Trip

This property was perfect. It was spotless, comfortable beds, tons of beach items/ toys for the kids. The pool was great after a long day at the beach. The outdoor furniture by the pool and on the screened in porch area were great. Proximity to the beach was quick and easy. I would 100% stay here again. We’ve been to AMI several times now and every property we have stayed at has been great, but this one truly was perfect. Thank you so much!

Excellent Location, Everything you need!

This house was perfect for our family of 6! Plenty of space for more people but only two bathrooms held us up a bit. Great setup though. Walking distance to Rod & Reel Pier and multiple beach access points! (3-4 blocks at most) In the garage, there is everything you need for a trip to the beach from an abundance of chairs, umbrellas, toys, even a wagon to pull it all. The kitchen had plenty of appliances and everything we needed for cooking & serving food. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and linens if needed. The pool was perfect. Full sun with a small table/umbrella for optional shade inside the pool. Even a downstairs fridge for quick access when hanging by the pool or cooking on the grill. Game room was fun. The balcony off the main room was one of our favorite spots to sit together as a family every morning and again to end the night. Plenty of towels for bathrooms and for the beach or pool. One thing that was a bit of an inconvenience was not having a bathroom closer to the pool. The whole house is tile, slippery flooring, including the steps, which is beautiful! But not easy with wet kids needing to go through and up stairs to the bathroom multiple times. Just something to keep in mind to prepare for. Nothing to turn us away from the house though. We threw a towel or 2 down by the door. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay at Pelican Place and definitely recommend it!

Bittersweet

This was our 2nd time staying at this house. Loved the new kitchen cabinets and countertops beautiful !. The kids loved the pool. We have been coming to Anna Maria for 42 years with my husband and this year sadly we had to make the trip with out him. Thank you sincerely Joy A.

Better than pictured!

This has been our best rental yet! Pictures do not do this property justice. We didn’t have any problems while we were there. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils. We plan to book again!

Great house in a great location

The house was perfect! It was clean. The beds were comfortable and the pool was a nice way to cool off on a warm day. The kitchen had all necessary items for cooking meals. The pergola area was a nice place to escape the sun while staying outside and the screened in porch area was an area I wasn’t expecting to use but spent a lot of time in. The house is a 5min walk to the beach and then once you get to the beach it’s another 4-5min walk to actually get to the water. The house did have a wagon and chairs but the wheels on the wagon were not made for the beach and made the 4-5min sand walk to the water pretty difficult. A few of the straps on the chairs were broken so you couldn’t put them on your backs. The house did have a rental company you could go through which I would highly recommend. We rented bikes, chairs, and a crib. Overall the house was great and I would definitely stay again

Great place but warm

This place is great plenty of room for the whole gang super clean and you can walk to the gulf or bay side in minutes, the only reason I didn’t give this property 5 stars is because of the locked out thermostat if you want it below 72 degrees in the home you’re out of luck we went the week before Memorial Day and the heat index was in the 100’s and it would have been great to come home to a frosty place but that wasn’t the case, I figured out 3 days in to our 6 night stay that you can put a washcloth Ofer the thermostat and it tricks it into thinking it warmer than it actually is and keeps the unit running. Overall you can’t beat the price for what you get!

Pelican place

Anna Maria island is great and this property on the north end was fabulous. All the areas for a great vacation. Pool, seating area under the pergola, screened porch, large eating area. Could have used a few more starter supplies as we were only there a few days and didn’t want to waste buying things we couldn’t leave for the next guest.

Peaceful

The property is clean and safe. The check in process is painless and the owner request are reasonable. Some attention should be given to the cleanliness of the clothes washing machine. Our biggest disappointment/ surprise was the pool. It's a very cool design,but It was basically unusable because the water was too cold. It states that the pool is heated, but it's too cold to use.

Great house for a great beach vacation

Our stay at the house was excellent. The house is spacious and well laid out. The kitchen has everything you need to do all your cooking. And, the pool area is great too. The little table in the pool is awesome for sitting in the pool enjoying a cocktail after a day at the beach. The house also has all the stuff you need for that day at the beach. All in all a great place to stay.

A little paradise

We loved our stay! We stayed with our three teen/ pre-teens. The house was spacious enough for the five of us and elegantly decorated. The kitchen could use a few more accessories and basic starter kits to avoid a big shopping on day 1 but overall it was manageable. The swimming pool was a great addition to our beach days, so was the ping pong table (that could use new rackets) and we spend a lot of time just relaxing by the pool or on the porch. The property management was very responsive and pleasant. The short walk to the Bean Point beach (by far the most beautiful in our view) was really a plus. The shore is simply beautiful with immaculate sand and refreshing waters. Seeing sea birds thriving there was just a testimonial to how well protected the area is. As far as places to visit for a quick bite or supply, we loved the north shore cafe for their outdoor space and great croissants, we highly recommend pizza social for their cute outside terrace and tasty toppings (try “the social”, awesome!), the island fresh market for their beautiful seafood and super nice staff and the Anna Maria creamery and bakery for their great gelatos. Overall a fantastic place and stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect family vacation

My husband and I took our two young kids and mother in law on vacation here and it was perfect. We chose the pool with the walking ledge for our daughter to be able to play without being able to swim. It’s also perfect for lounging adults. Pool gets full sun around 12:30 in February so it was perfect. There are a ton of towels and linens which I love. The master bedroom and bath is huge, enough room for the pack and play crib for our son. They had a beach wagon, some beach chairs and various pool floats in the basement as well. Really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was also super well equipped with lots of cookware and accessories, which was nice since we ate in most nights due to COVID.

Summer Quarantine

We chose this property based off of the photos of the backyard. It looked spectacular. We arrived to the property late Saturday evening and the home was lovely and Clean. The next day when my kids went outside to go swimming, the pool was Green and full of Algae. I called and was told someone would come out Monday as the Pool company is closed on Sunday. They came Monday around 1:30 to treat the pool. Tuesday it was starting to look like a pool, but was still green . The pool company came back again and Treated again. Long story short, the pool was finally able to be used by Wednesday. We lost 3 days of pool use and then once we finally were able to swim, our hair turned green. I know that they did try to remedy the problem, but I still think 3 days of not being able to use The pool should have resulted in some sort of refund. I will say that once it was cleared up, the backyard was beautiful. I just feel that whoever was prepping the house the Saturday that we arrived should have noticed the problem with the pool.

The Perfect Place

The house was clean and spacious! We loved that the bay side was a short walk from the house and the Gulf side was a short golf cart ride away. (rent a golf cart it was a blast and made getting around the island easy) Bean Point was close (10min walk) and it was beautiful to watch the sunset there. The Pool was clean and the kids LOVED it. We had an issue with the grill and the property management took care of it immediately. I would definitely stay here again! - Tips for future guests...The kitchen is well stocked with cups, plates, pots & pans and cooking utensils but bring your own seasonings, salt & pepper, cooking oils, and foil as there are no food/cooking products left behind from previous guests. They do provide one roll of paper towels, a mini bottle of dish soap and one packet for the dishwasher so you will need to bring extras of those too if you are staying for more than a few days. (extra TP too)
