THIS HOUSE RENTS MONDAY TO MONDAY DURING THE HIGH SEASON

Located on one of the highest points on the island, this lovely air conditioned home has magnificent 290 degrees of ocean views to the north, east and south. The house has a front row seat as it welcomes the splendid and varied sunrise each day. It offers many different spaces, both indoor and outdoor, where you may gather or find solitude. The house has a well equipped kitchen with a small table for casual meals as well as a dining room which can accommodate a large group for family meals. There is a spacious living room area with plenty of seating that takes advantage of the superlative view. On the lower level another common area offers an additional place to gather and relax. A special feature of the house is the cupola at the top of the house. This cozy space has a 360 degree view of Block Island and is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Bedrooms can be found on all three levels with a variety of king, queen and twin beds accommodating a maximum of 12 guests. Decks on the northeast, southeast, and west sides of the house offer guests the possibility of various outdoor activities both in and out of the sun all with a spectacular view of the Atlantic.

Great Stay!

We stayed here for a family gathering and had a great time! The house was clean and very spacious, had nice views and was in a great location. Would highly recommend and hope to come back!

Atlantic Lookout is a spectacular property. This was the second summer that we have spent at this lovely place. We are a family that have been renting on Block Island for the past 14 years. Over the years we have stayed in many different places. Atlantic Lookout is by far the BEST equipped kitchen that we have experienced. Our family is a family of cooks so we especially appreciate the wonderful array of kitchen equipment. We grind whole coffee beans each morning and there was even a coffee grinder in the pantry. The artwork on the walls are photographs taken by the orignal owner of the property and they are simply beautiful. Block Island is a special place. It is like going back in time. There are quaint shops, an array of restaurants, NO FAST FOOD places, great walking trails, exquisite sunrises and sunsets. To make your vacation unforgettable consider renting this magnificent home.

Excellent Block Island home to rent

We had the best time! The property has the most amazing views! It is at the top of the bluff - not the best for bike riding, but otherwise I highly recommend. It has everything you need for cooking family meals. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very nice. Very easily accommodated our party of 12.

Fantastic vacation home!

This vacation home has everything you need with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy. The covered porch overlooking the great yard was a treat. It would have been ideal to have more comfortable furniture on the two front decks, and the window & floor air conditioning units are pretty loud (first world problems!). We would certainly rent again!

Fantastic Family Gathering

We have stayed in a variety of rentals over the past two decades on BI. This was the very best. Amazing views, well stocked kitchen, linens and towels provided and a quick walk into town. Jiff was great and easy to work with as far as check in and check out. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early, but hope to rent again in 2024

Family gathering

We had the absolute best time at this house - it had everything we needed and more. The views were gorgeous, the house was clean and spacious, and the location was incredible. We had someone work from home for a few days, and the Wifi worked great. We had family fly in from Colorado and Wyoming who also had the best time; they didn't want to leave! Great communication from the property lister as well. Highly, highly recommended and I hope to come back!

The check in for this beautiful property was seamless. Jennifer was delightful to work with. She was always quick to respond to any and all inquires that I made both before and during my stay. Needless to say the home is beautiful. It is 1.2 miles from town - an easy walk in the early morning. The artwork throughout the home is stunning. We grilled outside twice. The kitchen was well equiped and easy to work in. I have already booked for the summer of 2026.

Perfect location, beautiful outdoor spaces

Gorgeous home, location and property exceeded expectations. Only issue was that we had guests who had work meetings and no wi-fi and the listing included available wifi. We would have made different arrangements had we known before I asked for wifi details a day or so before arrival. Otherwise property, property manager and everything else was amazing!

Sorry for the inconvenience Sarah. Scheduling technicians on Block Island is frequently challenging. Viasat was installed the week after your visit, the house now has internet as well as Direct TV. It was nice having you and your family at The Atlantic Lookout.

Stellar Views in a Peaceful Location

This home is quite lovely and the land surrounding it is serene. The view sites in multiple directions, especially the SE Lighthouse, are superb. The home is spacious and was mostly equipped to handle our group nicely. The house manager was very kind and responsive. She personally met us to let us in the home and was responsive to the one message we sent. The home itself is in need of a few things: a thorough deep cleaning and the addition of some outdoor chairs on the deck facing the SE lighthouse. The home was clean and enjoyable, but there were multiple locations that need a thorough dusting and wipe down. We would recommend this place and would stay again.

Amazing views

Driving up the driveway, you would never expect to find such a lovely home. There are windows everywhere and views of the water on every level. There was ample room for our family of 5 and rotating guests that stayed with us. An extra fridge in the basement for food and beverages is always a plus. The wifi worked well for the island. Two of our guests had to spend time working remotely and they had only minor issues. We walked to the southern lighthouse and the Bluffs daily, sometimes twice a day. There is AC but we didn’t use it very much because the breeze through all the windows and doors was more refreshing. My 14-year old son claimed the cupola as his bedroom and “camped” there all week! We would stay again without question.

Block island is magical for our family with so many memories. This impressive 6 bedroom home in a beautiful location gave our party of 9 adults and 3 children the opportunity to have a sweet reunion in a house that was spacious snd comfortable. We enjoyed all the cozy gathering spaces , a well stocked kitchen, an outdoor shower, and so many porches and balconies to enjoy the spectacular views. Jiff, the property manager, was so accommodating with check in and check out and met us providing all the information we needed. She even personally delivered coffee pods for the nesspresso machine. The house provided complete privacy and so much peace after the buzz of downtown. The proximity to Mohegan bluffs encouraged us to walk and swim there each day and that was magnificent. The ac , the two refrigerators, and 3 floors of space were so helpful. If I made a wish list it would be for beach towels, and beach chairs to be provided. Also ground coffee, filters and more paper towels would have saved a trip our first night.

This property was lovely and more than large enough to accommodate our party of 6 adults and 3 children. We enjoyed the outdoor areas and the finished basement area which four of our family members used. The kitchen was well stocked. The house is located in a convenient location also. The host was also very attentive and we appreciated the prompt manner in which a couple small issues that arose were addressed. We very much enjoyed our week stay. Kathy S

We stayed there for the week before our daughter's wedding and found the house to be exactly what we needed for our family of eight adults. The place was clean and the kitchen was well appointed for preparing many of our meals at the house. Plenty of space for having casual dinners, fancy dinners, eating alfresco, lounging, playing games, working from home, and sleeping. We watched the sunset from the cupola, enjoyed beautiful views of the Atlantic from the living room, dining room, cupola, and a few of the bedrooms, walked to the lighthouse and the Bluffs, long walked to town, and practiced yoga at nearby 1661 Farms. We highly recommend this house for your group of friends and/or family.
