Welcome to our Lakefront Family Getaway on the shores of Chautauqua Lake! Our Lakehouse is a private lakefront 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a large yard for family fun and games. The private dock has amazing panoramic lake views with breathtaking sunrise and “golden hour” full of color at sunset! Bring your boat! The dock area can accommodate tying off your boat and has plenty of fishing and relaxing space with chairs and a lakefront glider to take in those panoramic views! Fishing off the dock has proven to be plentiful over the years with many different species of fish and sizes. Our house is equipped with ample outdoor lakeview seating for family dining with a gas grill, and a custom filet table for those lake to plate meals!
Our home has bed space for 10. 1 king, 2 queens and 4 single beds. The family dining table with lake views can seat 10 in our all-inclusive GREAT room including a full-service kitchen, dining and family room with a 60 inch TV, board games, puzzle table and plenty of comfortable seating for family movie nights.
We have 2 fire rings available for those star night bonfires, 1 lakefront and 1 deck side.
Location is outstanding! Close to everything by car, boat, or foot. Our home is situated between Ashville Bay Marina and Smith Boys Marina. A 10 minute boat ride to Bemus Point and all that is offered there from dining, shopping and entertainment. Close to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, wineries and the Southern Tier brewery. Short walk to a community park with pickleball, tennis, basketball, sand volleyball, soccer and playground. Quick drive to the Chautauqua Institute, National Comedy center and multiple golf courses around the lake.

We enjoyed everything about the property inside and out! The location is great! We found a lovely little beach and playground just 10 minutes away for the little one to swim. Morning sunrises and nightly campfires were just what we were looking for. Communication was wonderful and prompt. We will definitely recommend this property ! Wonderful home for a family who enjoys water sports, corn hole , bocce, beautiful sunrises, . This home has everything you need for kayaking, paddle boarding, private dock, even an outside cleaning station, a Blacksone and regular grill, umbrellas, picnic table etc! Nice open interior and well stocked kitchen and air conditioning. Loved it all!

Property was clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. The weather was exceptionally hot during our trip, but the air conditioning in the home functioned perfectly. The outdoor space and and firepits were great. My children had fun fishing from the dock and caught many fish. While we didn't use them, having a paddleboard and kayaks for guest use is amazing! The host was friendly and quick to respond to questions.

The house was perfect , beautifully decorated, nice piece of property for the kids to run up and down. Close to the ice cream stand they love! Thoroughly enjoyed the cabinet full of games. Came in handy for sure. Having 2 bathrooms is a plus. Comfy mattresses. The area is great. Close to Barcelona (smoked fish and shrimp) kids can play in the water, close to several breweries, The Old Deli, and the Cheesehouse. A few of our favorites. Mike was very patient with my difficulty in finding the keyless entry (thanks again) and we did park at first on the wrong side of the house, which the owner promptly informed us about (oops) our fault again for not looking at the provided pictures well enough. We enjoyed our stay so much, that we hope to rent again next year. Thank you again Mike and family.

We truly enjoyed our fishing trip staying at this beautiful lake front home! The house was spotless and very well stocked—both the kitchen and bathroom . The Blackstone grill and regular gas grill were clean and there were plenty of grilling supplies. The fish cleaning area was easy to use and clean as well. There were lots of outdoor activities available and the dock was great to fish from and dock our 20’ boat. We hope to return!!

Beautiful spot on the lake! Space for everyone! And, close enough to walk to a local restaurant with a great breakfast. So close to so many places. We visited NY for a wedding and got the bonus of enjoying the lake over the weekend.

Awesome stay on the lake!

Mike was great to work with and the house was even better than pictured on the listing! Super close to a good restaurants and a nice spot on the lake to enjoy both the house and the lake.

Great, home-like stay at the lake

We enjoyed the place very much. It felt the owners really care about the house and our experience felt like vacationing at home. We didn’t get to experience water activities to due the cool Spring weather, but we drove to the Presque Isle for biking and spending time on the beach.

Amazing stay!

Loved the property! Beautiful and exactly as described! Mike was super easy to contact and had everything we could ever need! Stayed here on our way to Niagara Falls Canada and couldnt have been happier with our stay. We even were able to rent a pontoon at the marina and dock at the cabin!

The house itself was very nice for our multi-generational family gathering. There were plenty of comfortable sleeping areas, a large living area to gather in with many games provided for all ages, and a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need. The house notebook and labels made it easy to find and properly care for everything. The large yard and basketball hoop led to lots of fun outdoor play.We were not as pleased with the lake itself. It is very murky with a muddy bottom; you can not see the bottom, even in the shallow areas. The rungs on the provided ladder are quite far apart, such that some members of our group were unable to use it to exit the water. A high seawall also prevented them from getting out that way. They were forced to use the neighbor's steps to exit; fortunately, he was very kind about it. Harmful algae blooms prevented anyone from going in the water on 3 of the days we were there. Nearby attractions, such as the Chautauqua Belle, 21 Brix Winery, and Midway State Park with its rides for younger children were good substitutions on those days.

Wondeful! Second Time Staying!

We had a wonderful time again this year staying at the lake cottage We had our family and furry friends all together and loved the one level floor plan to have everyone together. The lake views were amazing and our kids loved the yard to play games in again this year.
