Our stay was wonderful! So close to Boston and the place was lovely and super comfy! We appreciated the swift responses whenever something came up. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed!

The host was very helpful when there was a mistake in the cleaning. We went out to eat and it was taken care of while we were gone. The next day it was cleaned even more. We did get a refund on part of our bill. The rest of our stay went perfect. We were happy with our choice of the house.

Everything was perfect at the home! There was plenty of space for our group of 11, the bathrooms were well-stocked with toiletries, and and all the rooms were exactly as pictured in the listing. The host also made check-in/check-out extremely simple. Couldn’t ask for more!

Very nicely done on the inside decorating. Well organized check in. However the house is located in a not so great neighborhood. Lots of police and didn't feel safe outside at night. Also not shown in the listing is the large amount of steps from the front door up and the large amount of stairs to the third floor with a very very low ceiling requiring me to almost crawl up the steps to avoid hitting my head.

Hi Matt, thank you for your feedback but out of five years hosting this is the very first review that said the neighborhood wasn’t safe. The home is located in a residential neighborhood and safety has never been an issue. The listing is very clear about the steps and caution signs for the low ceilings leading to the 3rd floor as well as a photos of the stairs. Any clarification needed ahead of booking I would have been happy to answer.

A lot of steps but well worth it !! Plenty of room for 10 adults and a BIG television for the football game. Would stay here again if in Boston area.

Great Place!

This house was a lovely place to stay for our family vacation. It was close to every thing we wanted to do in Boston. I messaged the host about something and the reply was very quickly. This is great place to stay when you are in the Boston area.

Lovely home in a good location

We had a group of 8 adults so the bedrooms were a perfect fit for our group. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and very clean.

Boston Marathon Weekend

One of our friends qualified to run the marathon, so eight of us (four couples) stayed in The Cottage 1925 for four nights and had a great time!

Amazing house and host!!

I highly recommend this house in Everett, near Boston. Perfect for large families and groups of friends. Communication with host is excellent and she’s been very helpful along our stay.
