Beautiful two story, 2 bedroom charming stone cottage. This lovely home features original wide plank hardwood floors along with wood beam ceilings throughout the front part of the two story home.

Eat in kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The home is situated on a beautifully landscaped parcel with a large outdoor deck and patio.

Located in West Grove, Pennsylvania (in the heart of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail). 1 hour from Lancaster, PA and Wilmington, De. 1 hour from Philadelphia, PA and Baltimore, MD. 3 hours from New York, NY and Washington, DC.

Please be advised that inquiries are received at an office, and no one mans the office over the weekend. We will respond to any weekend inquiries Monday morning.

This home was perfect for my family while we were visiting with our extended family in the area. The house is very well appointed, clean and comfortable. This location also gave us easy access to local attractions. The views out every window is spectacular and we enjoyed the evenings sitting on the deck and watching the fireflies!

July 4th in West Grove

This is our third stay in this home. The kitchen is well kitted, comfortable beds, a charming home.The deck has become our go-to space. Comfortable seating, peaceful setting and fire flies every evening.We love this house.

Absolutely Lovely

Staying at The Cozy Cottage (or, as my wife said in her review, Cozy Castle) really made our holiday great.It is so comfortable, well-appointed and interesting!A bonus for us is that it was centrally located between a bunch of family members.

My wife and I have used VRBO over 40 times. This property was perfect for our 4 day wedding weekend trip. The property was as advertised. It was very clean. A great location with the best things to in the area very close by. Restaurants and grocery stores were very close. We particularly enjoyed the private deck over looking a horse farm in the distance. Would definitely recommend this property.

Quite clean scenic relaxing

Great location if you want to stay at a clean private location close to great golfing and food options. Close to Loch Ness Golf, Longwood Gardens, Brandywine River Museum and Kennet Square restaurant

Charming, beautiful property

Home was just as pictured and described. Backyard was peaceful, with comfortable seating. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean.

Perfect location for touring area and lovely quiet street

Met my adult daughter for a weekend the 2 of us to go to kennett square and Longwood gardens. We also toured a mushroom factory and that was so interesting. The backyard is a joy. We watched horse in next property, a visiting deer. The woods and bushes were a perfect setting for listening to birds. The interior so quaint and the kitchen has everything we need. Beds comfortable. Needed some assistance with something minor in house and response was immediate. Plan on returning as area has so much to offer.

Perfect for UD visit

We had a great time staying here. Property was super clean and accommodating. We wanted a place close to the University of Delaware for graduation and this home fit the bill. Arthur made check in easy and quick. House was stocked with everything we could have needed. The area was nice and quiet and we loved the character of the house. Blended historical charm with modern amenities. The garage parking was super convenient with the rainy weather. Only negative is that we didn’t get to spend more time on the huge deck and back yard due to the rainy weather. Would definitely book again.

Resting place

We were in town for a birthday party. Going into the house was like entering a cool oasis from the melting heat!! As our stay was ending, there was a family emergency, So having spent time in such peaceful surroundings ended up being a respite in preparation for a chaotic time. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay.

Lovely historic home.

It was so nice to stay in this beautifully renovated stone house on a country road in a lovely area. We were close to the Kennett Square area but away from the bustle. The location was ideal for our visits to the Brandywine Museum and Longwood Gardens. The host, Arthur, was courteous and responsive. The house was charming, the furniture was comfortable, the central air conditioning worked well for those hot days and nights. It was a little like stepping back in time, but with modern comforts! We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

Great place for small family

We stayed here so we were close to Philly for my son’s graduation and Newark for my daughter’s. It was a great location.. so peaceful minus the lawn care occurring first thing Friday morning! All amenities needed except bath soap! Not an issue, I just forgot to bring some!! Beautiful view sitting on the back deck in the evening and grilling for a quick dinner! If needed, we would stay here again and will recommend for UD parents!

Lovely, welcoming home away from home

My adult sons and I stayed for Easter weekend. It was the perfect size for us and the location was perfect as we were visiting with our families in PA and DE. The kitchen was well stocked we everything we needed. We hope to return for another family get together this summer. Thank you

It's a Winner

The property was very clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and within 30 minutes to Wilmington, Kennett Square and Chadds Ford. We enjoyed seeing the neighbors horses from a distance. The two car garage was an added bonus for securing vehicles and making a dry exit in case of inclement weather. All mattresses were very comfortable and both bathrooms (although no pictures in the listing) were very nice. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again if visiting Nemours, Winterthur or Longwood Gardens. The ACME was a quick 5 minute drive for groceries. Sheets and towels were provided (even though we prefer to bring our own) and were nice. In my opinion, this was much nicer than staying at a B&B or hotel. It felt like a home away from home for us. Thumbs up!!!
