Great Beach Views

Great Beach Views from the balcony! Love that the main living room and Master bedroom have direct access to the balcony!! Big issue of cleanliness in bathrooms.

As expected

Details of the unit were very accurate on this site. Photos are up to date. We had no disturbances. Washer and dryer in unit worked great! The balcony was actually bigger than I had imagined. I was there with my 18 and 9 year old girls. We had a great vacation. We love the New Years Party @ Pier Park! I am pretty self-sufficient, and frequent traveler in hotels and condos both, so I didn't need to communicate anything during the trip

Can see the through the ocean from the top, which was awesome. Host was responsive leading up to the trip when I had questions. Parking was good by the elevators. Would stay again!!! Pool and hot tub also very nice.

The property was great. It was very accommodating and the location was perfect. Beach and pool access was very easy. Definitely made our stay a lot better with a place that was pretty much central to everything we wanted to do.

Needs updates

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome view. Beds uncomfortable, deck furniture and decor needs replaced/updated. There was no blow dryer or blender.

Balcony was fantastic. Beach and pool were awesome! Condo was well stocked with everything we needed. Floors and the balcony area was in need of deep cleaning. But everything else was great.

Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was not very clean, baseboards were dirty, ceiling had dirt, fans were wiped and when we went to bed we had sand in our sheets. There was not an available hairdryer in any of the bathrooms, and they advertised chairs provided by condo association however we had to pay $75 per day

Very nice stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Beds were comfortable as well as the furniture in the living room. My only suggestion would be to have more than 3 chairs for the dining room table. We had 6 people in our party and weren’t able to eat all together at the table. We had no issues with the refrigerator which was reported above. So that problem was fixed. We would definitely return to this property!

Tropical Wind Review

Accommodations were ok. However, the property management company was a little over the top with having to wear bands and the parking card in your windshield being "completely" filled out...including phone number. As a single female, this is a terrible practice. I do not understand why you would have to plaster that information in your vehicle when the property management people should already have that in their data base. Indeed, who would want to park their vehicle there if they weren't staying. That parking deck is less than friendly. Most folks that are traveling for vacation with children are taking large SUVs. SUV's of all sizes were having to make the turn half-way and then back up, then forward again. Since we were on the 4th floor, that was a lot of strategy! The parking spaces were small AND I MEAN VERY small. Once in the space, you could not get out. With cars on each side of me, I had to let my passengers out before pulling in. In addition, there is a sinking spot on the floor in the unit I rented. It was located just past the kitchen going into the family room. This is a trip hazard. I understand property managment policing the area to make sure that folks using the pool are staying in the condo. I have managed properties before. However, it felt more like a police state than anything else. The view was lovely but between the parking, not so nice accommodations, the mattresses, and inundation of property management, we will not rent here again.

Needs Repairs

Love the location but was very disappointed with some of the amenities.The pool was closed all week, and the jacuzzi was closed the first 3days.There was no handle on the sliding door in the living area and this was very difficult for us ladies to open.I sent a message to ecdi and told them about the broke. shelf in the fridge and no one ever came to fix it.We made the best of it and we really enjoyed the beach

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It’s hard to complain when you’re on a beautiful beach. So no complaints to nature. However - the condo is lacking and there was no help with our problem. As soon as we got there, I noticed the empty fridge was warm and freezer was leaking into fridge. I got my groceries and put them in. Noticed door wouldn’t stay closed. Maintenance came by that day, said he would order a part and be back Monday. He never showed. On Thursday - fridge and freezer stopped overnight. I woke up to alllll my food ruined. The garbage disposal doesn’t work. So when you run dishwasher old food **** comes up sink. Sits there so it stinks all day. The floor is broken to pieces and covered by a rug. The unit is 3 bedrooms and supposedly houses 6-8 adults. The dining table is like 3 foot round with 3 chairs. So we always had to sit around or on floor. And I know this can’t be helped. But the pool was closed entire time! Pros - plenty of dishes, pans actually clean, plenty of towels.

Great space

Overall the property was nice and quiet. location was perfect. Elevators were fast. Parking was a little challenging but we didn’t leave the property much so it was a big deal.

I was told that that it was outlined in an earlier email. I don’t recall ever seeing that information. We had to make an additional stop at a grocery store.

Winter Getaway

PCB has been our place to winter during January & February the last few years. We chose a 3 bed 3 bath Unit Beach Front in great condition. No issues and the staff at the building were helpful and friendly.

Yearly Family Christmas Vacation

Has a wonderful stay with parents, brother, and son. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was great! Unit spacious and right at the elevator. Close to Pier Park and away from more crowded areas. Have stayed at Tropic Winds several times.

The only thing was I thought the property furniture and bedding were a little worn. A few updates and it would have been perfect. No issues with check in or check out. Love Tropic winds!

This 6th floor unit condo has been newly updated .. it still needs a few things.. the bath tubs have huge gash in it. The floor has a huge wrinkle in the vinyl because of slope in floor. There is paint bubbling behind toilet in master.. there are places that paint needs to touch up. It needs some kitchen items replaced.. only a few eating silverware. Pans in bad shape. Not a lot of bowls. Overall, the size and location is the best on all Pcb! We didn’t use the pool much because it was cold. Great vaca!

Beach was beautiful. Condo was close to restaurants, shopping, activities. Beds were comfy, even the fold out couch. We enjoyed our stay. On Friday morning the washer quit working & when reported that morning & afternoon we were told there wasn’t a maintenance person to come work on it. Was an inconvenience but we dealt with it. Rules seemed a bit much at times. We were scolded about drinks (even plastic glasses with lids weren’t allowed) at the pool & hot tub. One of our adults were told not to play with a ball in the swimming pool with our teenager although no one else was around. They had been seen on the camera.
