I had an excellent trip. The house is as advertised. It is rustic and cozy. It is quiet and dark at night - you can hear so much of nature at night.

Lovely little house, perfect for the two of us. Very convenient to Lake Jocassee and Devil’s Fork State Park. Just be aware you need to have a parking pass in addition to the provided park entry pass. Especially important on busy weekends such as 4th of July.

Wonderful place to stay and just 5 mins from Lake Jocassee/Devils Fork State Park. A short drive from Oconee, Table Rock, and Keowee State Parks. The property is quiet, clean, and was perfect for our getaway.

Overall we had a good stay. The cabin itself was clean, towels were provided in the bathroom. Check-in/out was contactless and went smoothly. The cabin is on the same property as two other rental buildings, which wasn't a problem for us. Be aware that the queen bed is extremely soft (I'm usually not picky but I'm glad I was the only one on it). I tried to contact the host to double check that I had the cancellation/refund date correct (I was struggling to find it again after I booked) due to weather concerns and I got an AI response. I was not going to be upset if someone had just replied "it is too late for a refund", but I didn't even get a human, just basically AI spitting my words back at me. This is their business and not just their personal vacation joke they are renting out, so I would expect a bit more. Overall decent for a budget stay.

The cut off for a refund was stated in the comment on the VrBO messages. We take great pleasure in hosting everyone and make sure that our guest are aware of all the policies and policies are sent by email on any VRBO bookings once payment is received. As a host unfortunately I can’t control the weather and it is up to our guest to make the decision to cancel.

Cabin was great! It was very cozy and clean. Very short drive to the boat landing! A pass to the park was provided!

We had a great time and loved the cabin. The queen bed was a little creaky but we got used to it. Planning on coming back again next summer and hopefully reserving the tiny house, the houseboat and the dome.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. Everything about the property was clean and in working order. Close proximity to Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee to put boat in and the park pass was a definite perk!

Place was immaculate and was plenty big enough for hubby and I. Host answered any questions we had. There’s a pass for one of local state parks which was great and very helpful. There’s a binder with lots of info on the cabin and area not to mention instructions on checking out. Has central heat and a/c and this time of year at least overnight the heat was big plus.

Between the Lakes

Our little place was quaint and nice! Very well decorated and we had everything we needed. We spent most of our time at nearby Lake Jocasee and the trip was nice!

loved the locationclean for most part but a clean that is acceptable to me-some shredded cheese under keurig and a few dust bunnies just from neglect, such as under that stand immediately in front of you when you walk in front door.worst part-left a day early due to that bed!!!!!! wife hurt for 3 days afterwards

Cute & Comfortable

Cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space for myself, my husband and two children, 8 years and 4 years. Location is very close to Devils Fork State Park and the free pass is a bonus to get you in for free. We would definitely stay again in the future.

The cabin was as-advertised. The check-in process was a little confusing because there was more than one keypad. The bed is also in need of upgrading. The kitchen is very minimally stocked. With that said, it was a good place to stay so we could visit family for the holidays.

Jocassee Nights

Great location to numerous State Parks for hiking and exploring. Super close to Devils Fork State Park ( less than 2 miles). Close to two Craft beer joints with Music( some nights) and food trucks. Also has two other cool rentals on same property for larger groups.

Perfect place for a lake weekend!

Perfect place for a lake weekend getaway. Very clean property! Lots of space for boat parking. Perfect location. 5min from gas station, 5min from jocassee, 10 min from keowee. House very clean. Porch and grilling area !
