With breathtaking panoramic views, the spacious and well-appointed 3,714 sq. ft home offers the perfect getaway for groups and families seeking a rustic setting with modern amenities. Whether you relax on site or venture out into McCurtain County for nearby outdoor activities or points of interest, a stay at the Lodge will be memorable! *** NEW in 2025 fiber internet ***
At the heart of the home is its great room with vaulted ceilings, stone fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful Kiamichi Mountains. The open plan allows for easy access to the kitchen and dining area offering plenty of enjoyment space for larger groups. Guests appreciate the second large entertainment room well-suited for kids and teens. Relax on the furnished back patio, take a dip in the hot tub, gather 'round the fire ring to make s'mores, or square off for a rousing game of horseshoes. The 2-acre mowed backyard offers endless possibilities for fun. All ages will enjoy a stay at Mountain Vista Retreat.
McCurtain County is chock full of outdoor adventure opportunities. Swim at Broken Bow Lake, ATV through the Ouachita Mountains, cast a line in Lower Mountain Fork River, pet a skunk at Hochatown Petting zoo, or zoom 35mph on a zipline through Beavers Bend State Park. It's also home to breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, casinos, museums, and more. There's something for everyone nearby, making a stay at Cedar Ridge Lodge as relaxing, or as active and adventurous, as you want.

We couldn’t have had a more perfect cabin! It was absolutely beautiful- the views and the peaceful nature. Cabin is completely stocked with cookware, utensils, plates ect.. Mimi was very responsive with any questions we had- he she was certainly correct- our family loved it! Very clean rooms as well as fresh cut grass. We even had plenty of room for the dogs to run! Hot tub & fire pit very well kept and clean! There is absolutely nothing to complain about- at all! Our family will definitely be back!

Great cabin with spectacular views.
This is a great cabin with everything you would need or want for a getaway. Plenty of space and amazing views. Highly recommend.

House was great. Road was very dusty getting there but other than that it was perfect. Hot tub was clean. Property was beautiful

We recently stayed at this property with family and had an excellent experience! The property and home were beautiful! The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc which made cooking a breeze. The host was super easy to communicate with and responded promptly. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing place to unwind and breathe in the quiet calmness of seclusion. Rain or shine.3rd annual visit and already planning the 4th. Great cozy living room, bedrooms, and Clean cabin. Some utensils and tools could use an update, but over all incredible and modern place. Host is amazing and very responsive. Recommended for 4 people. Thank you! Give this place a try for your next getaway!

New Year's Family Trip
Our whole family came to Smithville to get away from it all for a few days. The view is spectacular! The cabin was well appointed and had all the comforts of home. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome Vacation Home
This vacation home was beautiful inside and out. Pictures do not do it’s justice as how beautiful this home was for us. Our family had a great time the week being there for the summer. We will definitely look into future bookings with them upcoming winters.

Cedar Ridge Lodge at Mountain Vista Retreat has gorgeous views and is spacious and welcoming. It's comfortable for larger groups and families to gather and spend time together while offering plenty of space, indoors and out, for everyone to explore.

The outdoor fit pit and seating area is one of my favorites. The outdoor hot tub with mountain views is pretty awesome, too. The upstairs entertainment room that offers a second space for people to gather, watch tv and play games, gives kids and teens a place to be that's really fun for them.
