Beautiful fully furnished Luxury Cabin on 3 plus acres, located 25-30 minutes north of Beavers Bend on the Upper Mountain Fork River in the Kiamichi Mountains. Come relax in the hot tub and enjoy the peace and quite this fully furnished cabin offers. Deer Run is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin with beautiful hand made aspen log beds. Bedroom # 1 offers a King Log bed, bedroom 2 & 3 both have beautiful Queen Log beds. Large living room with Satellite (Direct TV) and Blue Ray DVD Player with 100's of movies and surround sound. Upgraded Super Fast Fiber Optic Wifi (added January 2025) for those who must work remotely from the cabin or for streaming needs. Smart TV's for streaming your favorite apps in each bedroom. Utility room has full size Washer and Dryer. The Large back deck with River view is a great place to sit and listen to the river flow and watch the stars & wildlife. Smoker/Grill for those who wish to cook outdoors. Bring your marsh mellows and enjoy the fire pit under the stars. Fire wood is provided. Large front porch over looks a beautifully manicured property to relax and watch wildlife. Deer, foxes, squirrels, hummingbirds and a occasional black bear are home to the area. Private access to the Mountain fork river is just minutes away where you can enjoy fishing, swimming and kayaking. Kayaks, paddles and life vest are available during season, and are subject to unavailability during inclement weather, high or rising river levels and cold temperatures.

For off property entertainment, Deer Run is centrally located about 25-30 minutes from Hochatown where guests can find unlimited options and activities. Visit the Maze, Luxury putt putt, go carting, petting zoo, wineries, breweries, Lake Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park, horse back riding, restaurants, shopping, hiking, fishing and or even a trip to the brand new Choctaw Landing Casino, if you are feeling lucky!

Deer Run is also conveniently located only 25 miles from the Talimena Scenic Drive where guests can enjoy a beautiful drive along the Rich Mountains. Photography, hiking and a visit to Queen Wilhelmina State park are a must!

Relaxing and fun

What a fantastic stay! The cabin is beautifully decorated, immaculate and equipped with everything we needed, including outdoor games, kitchen utensils, etc. The property is very pretty, well kept and offers a calming setting, perfect for a relaxing and fun getaway with the family and the dog :) The river view and the diverse wildlife made it even more special. The owners are super friendly, helpful and attentive. Great people! We will return!

Amazing cabin!

We loved the place! A cozy cabin with all the amenities we needed. Beautiful property, comfortable beds, great kitchen and living space. The gas fireplace put out a lot of heat which was nice. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Great communication with the owners as well. We will definitely be back.

Deer Run Cabin

Property was private and super clean and very well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, swing, and relaxing in from of the fireplace. Loved the overall experience and we will be back.

The hosts were very thoughtful about the guests feeling at home. The place was decorated for Christmas both inside and out. We felt right at home with all the amenities and had everything we needed. I am very impressed with the extra time they took when considering guest experience. I will definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway spot

This cabin is best little spot for a getaway with friends! We loved the back porch area so much. The cabin is EVEN BETTER in person! Everything was so clean and cozy. We will definitely be back again.

Perfect getaway!

To say anything bad about this property, I'd have to get into personal preferences, and be annoyingly nit picky at that. A near perfect location, with the secluded back yard giving a view of the river through the trees, and remote enough for beautiful starry nights. Even though we came for the eclipse and got clouded out for the exact 5 minutes around Totality, we're all very glad we made the trip from PA, as it was still a fabulous weekend

Great Property for Family

My family and I (5 adults and 1 kiddo) enjoyed our stay at Deer Run! The property was super clean and very comfortable. We loved roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and star gazing. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Great getaway from the city!

We loved our weekend getaway from the city. The house was amazing and we enjoyed our stay overall. The only issues we had was rolling power outages and the TVs didn’t work in the bedroom. We messaged the host and they were working hard to get it fixed.

Family Getaway

We had a lovely family getaway at deer run cabin. This property is kept very well. You can tell the owners put a lot of hard work into the property. My only advice to you is make sure you travel in during the day because it is hard to see the cabin signs at night.

Great place. Clean with a beautiful view..grill..hot tub was perfect. Fire pit..swing near by. The only draw back for me is the beds were to tall for me to get in..need to consider stepstools for people 5 ft and under

We rented this wonderful riverside cabin Oct 27-28 to stay during our fall foliage drive through our states gorgeous region. Very comfortable. Deer Run had everything we needed! We will come back to the Legacy cabin area.

Peaceful getaway

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was very peaceful and secluded. Perfect getaway for friends. We kayaked, roasted marshmallows, soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed all the amenities Deer Run had to offer. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Easy instructions for check out. Excellent place to stay for families or friends.

We are from Wylie Texas, have 2 children and one granddaughter. We love to get away and thought it was time to get our own cabin. Love the peace and quiet in the mountains. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but yet not too far away. We now live locally in Smithville, Oklahoma and are only a few minutes away if you need anything during your stay!

We love the outdoors and were looking for a place that would be quite, peaceful, and have mountain and river views. This area is absolutely beautiful and yet close enough for our guests to visit all that Beavers Bend has to offer without having to stay the night with all the crowds.
