A beautiful 3-bedroom home tucked in the woods, long walking distance to Downtown Friday Harbor! Short walk to the Beach! Enjoy the best of both worlds in this secluded, forest-surrounded home, while also being just outside of Downtown! (Turn Point Retreat).
This house is ideal for your family adventure to San Juan Island! This lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is spaciously surrounded by fresh evergreen trees with much filtered light throughout the house.
Offering a bathroom on both levels of the home, plus 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs (plus an office with a futon), this house is spacious enough for two families.

Enjoy preparing your meals in the spacious kitchen and unwinding with family around the dining table. Catch a peek-a-boo view of the sunrise off the front porch while sipping your morning coffee among the local wildlife and ample deck furniture.

Less than half a mile away is Turn Point Beach, a perfect spot for beach combing, tidepool exploring, and the occasional orca whale spotting.

Downtown Friday Harbor is only 2 miles away, making this home a convenient spot for those desiring the seclusion of a PNW forest and the close proximity to town!

The easy access to downtown Friday Harbor will be a breeze for dining, shopping, catching a tour or shuttle, or just swinging by the grocery store. Cyclists will find the Turn Point Road loop a scenic 4-mile (roundtrip) bike ride (bicycles not provided on-site).

Other nearby attractions include Jackson Beach, LaFarge Open Space, San Juan County Fairgrounds, the Saturday Farmer's Market at Brickworks, the Port of Friday Harbor Marina, and the delicious restaurants of Friday Harbor.

***Firepit only usable if San Juan County is not currently in a county enforced burn ban; burn ban is typically in place during summer months/ dry season. Please check burn ban status prior to arrival. Firewood not provided.

The owners visit occasionally next door but provide privacy to guests.

This is a dream house on San Juan island -- beautiful rooms and layout, the most charming backyard with a children's playhouse and firepit. The kitchen was well stocked and bathrooms had amenities. Lots of games for all in the playroom too. Perfect location for ease to get to downtown harbor area plus some beautiful walks. Also the management was great at being responsive (I blew a fuse with a hair dryer) and took care of it right away. Excellent property.

Great location with walking distance to the beach, short drive to Friday Harbor downtown and ferry, as well as privacy while at the house. All the comforts of home with quality amenities (bedding, kitchen, laundry, bbq, furniture inside and out). Location enabled us for short trips around the island to explore. Would highly recommend this fantastic retreat to others with high expectations for a vacation rental.

Amazing house & location

Charming house - spacious, great amenities and fantastic location. Just outside of town to enjoy the peace and quiet of the harbor yet minutes away from the Main Street. Really lovely all around!

Loved it!

Had a great stay while in town for the San Juan half marathon with friends! The place was comfortable and peaceful and very close to town. Would absolutely return!!!

Lovely house close to Friday Harbor

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. The location is quiet and serene (including several deer sightings) yet just a quick drive from the charming town of Friday Harbor. The amenities were great and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We would definitely stay here again.

wanted to spend the weekend with my daughter who lives on the island. Brought my family. The kitchen is perfectly equipped to host. The house is nicely decorated. It feels like a five star hotel.

Island Wedding Fun

Our three generation family loved this home! The playhouse outback was a hit with our grandchildren. The close proximity to Friday Harbor made trips to town easy and we walked to turn Point Country Park and spotted an eagle! A fabulous place to stay!

The home was spacious and comfortable. It was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the added convenience of being able to checkin several hours early. Once the house was ready, we received a text letting us know. This was really helpful since family arrived earlier than expected!

Great Escape in the Woods

Comfortable for our group of seven adults. Beds and bedding were amazing. Back deck space was awesome and the hammock was a nice perk. Easy walk to the beach. Overall great location for island outings and access to Friday Harbor.

Great house for gathering

We had a wonderful stay. House was great. Beds comfortable. Kitchen and gathering spaces excellent. Sufficient space in bedrooms to add an air mattress for one group — sister and brother who do not share a bed.
