Welcome to Atlantic House | Seaside Retreat, just steps away from the family-friendly Short Sands Beach!

This beautifully located condo with street views features two queen bedrooms and two full baths, offering all the comforts of home in a cozy beach retreat. Enjoy a full kitchen with a dishwasher, flat-screen TVs with Spectrum TV, Wi-Fi, and all necessary linens and towels, including a lobster pot for your Maine beach vacation.

Located on the 4th floor with elevator access, this unit includes one off-street parking space located across the street behind Molly O's Restaurant, a great spot for breakfast or lunch.

For those early spring nights or fall evenings, cozy up by the gas fireplace for some ambiance and open a bottle of wine from Kelley's Spirit's conveniently located on the first floor of the building. Additionally, boutique shopping is available in the Atlantic House, and during the summer months, The Sand Dollar Restaurant on the second story features live music on the open-air deck during the day and a piano bar at night. Please note that the music from The Sand Dollar Restaurant rarely reaches the 4th floor.

Everything Short Sands Beach has to offer is within walking distance, including both Short Sands and Long Sands Beaches, York's Wild Animal Kingdom, The Beach Bucket grocery store and takeout, coffee shops, restaurants, and fun shopping.

You may not need to use your car for the entirety of your stay, making this location perfect for beach lovers who enjoy being close to the sun, sand, and fun!

terrible, noisy, cheap and way over priced , owners wanted us to do house cleaning , elevator filthy smelled , air conditioning loud could not regulate, space was cramp and smelled , entrance door code did not work ,it was so bad it was ridiculous

Thank you for your feedback, Nelson. We were surprised to read this review, as none of these concerns were reported to Salt & Shine during your stay. Had we been contacted regarding cleanliness, odor, A/C, or any issue within the rental, our local team would have been happy to investigate and assist. For clarification, Salt & Shine manages this privately owned condo unit; we do not own or manage the building, elevator, common areas, or building-wide systems. The main building entrance code was changed without our prior knowledge. As soon as we learned of the change on Aug. 27, the day after your arrival, we proactively sent you the new code via Vrbo and updated your guest folio. We received no further report of an access issue. Guests are also not asked to “do house cleaning.” The condo is professionally cleaned between stays. Our standard checkout requests simply include starting used linens, running the dishwasher, removing food/trash, and securing the property. Your signed Rental Agreement also asks guests to leave the property reasonably clean and, importantly, to report any issue immediately so we have an opportunity to help. We cannot investigate or correct concerns that are never communicated to us, and we respectfully disagree with this characterization of the property and our service. — Salt & Shine Vacation Rentals

Clean & Quiet

We’ve rented various places for the last 5 years in York, Maine and this condo was our favorite place! Clean and quiet in a great central location and responsive hosts. We would definitely rent again in the future.

Family vacation

Convenient location and parking. Made it very easy to eat, shop, and go to the beach and zoo with two children under 6yrs old. Quiet despite location. Was difficult to find the condo itself without signage in the building/elevator.

Honest review of our stay. First, the pros, the management company is fantastic. They respond to questions or concerns quickly and efficiently. They ensure the condo has plenty of items such as paper goods and detergents. The condo is spacious and sufficiently meets the needs of 4 people. The cons, cleaning staff does not do a great job. When we arrived there were dirty dishes, hair in the tub, many stains on the couch, hair on the couch and sticky tables. We also had an issue with noise. The walls are paper-thin and the central air conditioning is super loud all night. Lastly the parking is dicey, we arrived to an oversized truck on one side and the car parked on other side was very crooked. Since you can't park anywhere else, we squeezed our suv between the 2 of them and had to crawl out of our vehicle. We called management twice for help. They did their best but do not manage the unit with other spaces. Overall you are paying a very high price for location, i would not stay there again.

Great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the Atlantic condo! I stayed with my two parents and we found the unit to be incredibly clean, spacious and equipped with everything you’d need. They spared no expense with the renovations, using top of the line materials, including the super comfortable beds. Check in and out was super easy. You could park your car and not use it once if you wanted to based on how centrally located it was to everything!

In the Fall

The property was lovely. It was a little hard to figure out how to access it. Everything was clean and prepared for our arrival. TV service was not great, streaming only.

Smaller than expected, kitchen wasn't easy to maneuver around in and not very well equipped. The management were quick to respond to ?s and issues we had. Very confusing on how to enter the building and get to the unit. The directory inside listed the Wi-Fi incorrectly and we did not have live TV

A fun filled week in a clean and comfortable condo

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was very clean, and comfortable. The location was great! We love short sands and had a wonderful time being right in town, and we could even walk to long sands too! Thank you for a fantastic stay!! We hope to come again next summer.
