We’re committed to following cleanliness guidelines for our guests. We were dedicated to providing a clean experience before Covid 19 ( see past reviews over the years) and now have enhanced protocols. We are hands-on owners and inspect before our new guests arrive to ensure cleanliness.

Location, location, location! Imagine hearing the waves crashing and walking with your favorite beverage to sit and watch the waves roll in off the Marginal Way. Tucked around the corner on a private road but literally steps to Perkins Cove and The Marginal Way. Walk to the beach or jump on the trolley which is 75 steps away from your front door. This two-bedroom, two full-bath home has updated bathrooms, an updated kitchen, the furniture you want to curl up on, stainless steel appliances, a new front load washer & dryer, and more. Linens, towels, beach towels, 4 beach chairs with umbrella, air conditioning, dishwasher, and gas grill. Just buy the lobster down the street.

Location was perfect! Walked to Perkins cove, Marginal Way and Ogunquit! Great house for the four of us in town for a wedding! Easy check in and great communication with owner. Highly recommend!

Perfect Ogunquit cottage

This was perfect for a 4 day getaway to Ogunquit. Very close to Perkins Cove and Marginal Way and a short walk into the village. Highly recommend

Great location and quiet home

This house was in an ideal location, walking distance to everything you would want in town. I was also struck by how quiet the house was, nestled away from neighbors. It was really an ideal retreat and had everything we needed. Having beach, chairs, towels, and a beach cart was particularly helpful coming in from out of town.

Perkin’s Cove very close we checked out the stores and had a bite at Jackie’s after our Driver told us about her background we didn’t see her counting her money it was a rainy morning we also strolled along the Marginal Way our first day after settling in the coast line is very rocky !! Strong suggestion it would be nice if you provided Body Wash,Shampoo, Kleenex and new towels more than one one wash cloth Bath tubs need safety strips to prevent slipping/falling Dianne

Adorable cottage in a great location

Our stay at the cottage was perfect. The location is great, we walked to town every day. It’s right next to Perkins cove which makes for a great evening on the harbor. The cottage was clean and it’s set back from the road which makes it quiet. We will be back!

Wonderful cottage in a great location!

This cottage was ideal for 2 couples and was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed the quiet location and appreciated the short walk to the Marginal Way and Perkin’s Cove. Deidre, the owner was very nice and easy to work with. Overall a 5 star rental experience!

Beautiful Ogunquit cottage

The cottage was perfect for 2 couples. The location could not have been better. We loved walking to Perkins Cove for lobster and the beach was so close. We also enjoyed seeing Waitress at the Ogunquit Playhouse, the show was Broadway level with many original tour cast members. We definitely recommend this destination and cottage.

Beautiful long weekend

Three generations of ladies enjoyed our stay at Tara Cove Cottage. Perfect location, walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, downtown and beach. The cottage was lovely, quiet, while still close to everything. Deirdre was a delight to work with. Very communicative.

Perkins Cove

This is a really great cottage in an amazing location. It is located about 200 yards from the entrance to The Marginal Way! An very easy walk to Perkins Cove and several great restaurants. All of our communications and questions were promptly answered. We had a wonderful stay!

Enjoyable time!

We had a great time in Ogunquit! Great weather and easy access to everything! Once we got there never used the car until we left. Walked everywhere! The cottage was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for everything.

Great cottage and location!

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Cove Cottage for our 5 year wedding anniversary. Kristen and Tom were great hosts, providing information on the area and even a welcome basket for our two dogs! We were able to easily walk everywhere in OGT including Marginal Way and to multiple restaurants. Close to the beach by walk or trolley. The cottage is newly renovated and includes a great back deck with a grill and plenty of space indoors. We are looking forward to a trip back next year!

Return to Paradise!

We have been visiting Ogunquit, Maine for 34 years. We have stayed in hotels and condos over the years…but this cozy, comfortable and clean cottage was ideal! This gem of a rental property is nestled in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood just a short walk to Perkins Cove & downtown Ogunquit-our car rarely got used! The back porch was the ideal setting for morning coffee…it overlooks a field of wild flowers and Maine evergreens…bring binoculars if you enjoy birding!! The house was very well appointed-we didn’t lack for anything. All dealings with the homeowner were pleasant and timely.

Quiet, clean, and walking distance to everything Ogunquit!

Cove Cottage is immaculate! The furnishings and decor were lovely. It had such a light and "beachy" feel to it. There was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms for our belongings (closets, bureaus, etc.) My family (4 adults and a 1 year old) stayed here for a week and we enjoyed it. (We have stayed in other properties in Ogunquit, but this was definitely our favorite). We loved how close it was to the Marginal Way-literally a 5 minute walk to see the ocean, 10 minute walk to the heart of Perkins cove and a 20-25 minute walk into downtown Ogunquit. There is a great deck out back with Adirondack chairs where we spent time reading and relaxing. There is a large yard where my 1 year old loved crawling around and playing. I highly recommend this cottage!

We had such a great time. Cottage was cozy and comfy. Got a bit of wildlife some turkeys and deer grazing through the yard. It was a lovely weekend!

Location, Location!Cute, clean, cozy cottage. Comfy bed/pillows. Quiet AND steps from a sidewalk leading to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, the Trolley stops, too! Breakfast at Cove Cafe was worth the wait! cute deck out back. Only suggestion: have shampoo/conditioner in showers. Its a hike to the town store.
