Lovely cottage less than 1 block walk to Lake Mokoma! Nestled within the heart of the Endless Mountains, the 3 Bears Treehouse offers access to the spring fed lake w/ private beach house, swimming, canoeing, volleyball, playground & hiking. This home features 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bath, screened in porch with lake views, centered around a cozy wood-burning stove living space abundant with board games & records. Come relax & unwind in this charming natural oasis set back in time. Fresh linens, kitchen essentials & towels are provided with rental. Professionally cleaned between rentals. For Summer rentals beginning June - Labor Day weekend, there is a $160 weekly/ $80 3-day weekend charge to use the lake beach area due to lifeguards provided daily and varying amenities offered at the lake Beachhouse. THIS IS AN ADDITIONAL FEE INCURRED BY THE TENANT, AND NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR RENTAL COST. This fee goes directly to the LMA Association and can be pre-paid for use of the lake beach area during the summer months. All lake rentals have an association fee for renters - which goes directly to the lake. More details will be sent to you upon booking. Max of 2 car parking. Thank you!

I rented this cottage for family members who were coming to town for an event. They loved the cozy cottage and how close it was to our lake beach and all the activities. The owners, who were easy to reach, have provided everything to make a comfortable stay for those who were traveling far. Highly recommend this place for your visit to the mountains.

Weekend near Eagles Mere

This property was nice for a long weekend getaway in the Endless Mountains. We ended up only using the Lake Mokoma accommodations one day, but swimming and fishing in Worlds End was amazing. It was very hot during our stay and some additional fans would be a good investment, but the house cooled off nicely each evening. Communication with owners was great. We would definitely stay again.

This is our 2nd stay at Mokoma with Mike and Gabby, love this spot. My kids are making great memories, just like I did growing up on Lake Mokoma

Great location!

We haven't been to Lake Makoma in years. It was great to be back and so close to the beach house. It brought back so many wonderful memories for my children! It was fun to gather around the fire pit at night.

Delightful

Cottage was adorable and so well-equipped. We enjoyed use of the kayak and also rented a paddle boat which my 5 year old grandson got a kick out of. We all enjoyed hanging out on the screened-in porch together . Bedrooms were cozy with superb linens and bathrooms had special touches too All around great stay,

Enchanting Cottage

This cozy cottage was so inviting and comfortable with many lovely, tasteful & thoughtful details such as well-stocked kitchen, plants on windows & logs by the fireplace. We had a wonderful time together because the cottage was so welcoming. thank you Mike & Gabby!

Things we love about the Endless Mountains in Sullivan County is the easy access to many stunning, varying level hikes in the Loyalsock Forest trails, Ricketts Glen State Park & World's End State Park. As well as water activities on the spring fed lake including canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming & secret watering holes to hike to throughout the area. Quick drive to get groceries, fresh donuts at Mad Baker or an ice cream in the lovely Victorian town of Eaglesmere, PA.

Lake Mokoma is a lovely getaway year round, especially for the change of seasons & summer when there are wild blueberries and a nostalgic feeling of stepping back into a more peaceful, simple time. Enjoy morning coffee on the back screened in porch with views of the sun rising over the lake. Cook with a record on or your favorite playlist....Check out the charming town of Eagles Mere, less than a 12 minute drive away, for evening strolls with an ice cream in hand or a night cap.
