Rest, relax and restore at the Hideaway. This family and pet-friendly cabin is perfectly secluded in Forks Township, Sullivan County. The Hideaway is newly remodeled, yet maintains a rustic feel. Step outside to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. It is not uncommon to see deer and turkeys strolling through the yard. Roast marshmallows in the outside fire pit or fish at the pond!
The Hideaway has been modified to include a ground level bedroom and bathroom with a handicap accessible shower. The cabin entryway is also equipped with a ramp for easy entry.
Sullivan County is a beautiful area with 2 state parks: World's End and Ricketts Glen.
Please Note: wifi is available at no cost, however like may rural areas, may not be the most reliable.

This was our second time staying here so that should speak for itself. It is a very nice place to come and enjoy nature and the peace and quiet. It is also very conveniently Located very close to a lot of beautiful places to visit. The front porch is my favorite place. I can sit there for hours watching the nature that walks through the yard. The sheets were clean. The towels were soft. The water was hot and the Wi-Fi was strong. What more could you ask for?

Another wonderful time at The Hideaway. We continue to come back to this property because it is perfect for our family of 5 and 2 dogs. We love having campfires and running around in the beautiful yard!

Lovely, very solid home. Loved fire side & porch swing. Appreciated the nice lawn space around the property & good drive way. At least one more comfy chair in living area would be nice. Overall very nice property.

Great stay on a quiet property

We loved our stay, sitting on the porch and watching the rain. Playing games with the kids and going for hikes at Rickett’s Glen and World’s end.

Very cozy cabin

We had a great holiday stay. Cabin had everything we needed, was warm and roomy for the 4 of us. Owners were pleasant to deal with and quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend away with our dogs and my parents. The pictures did not do this cabin justice. Eveything was perfect, well kept and very cozy. The cabin had almost everything we needed. The best part about the property was the covered porch, yard and location. 10/10 cabin, we will be back for hopefully a longer stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway! The house was exactly as described. The property grounds exceeded our expectations- picturesque covered porch, cozy campfire space with a view, and lots of open space to run around. We have stayed at a different property owned by Doug and Adrienne; they are always wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this Hideaway in the PA mountains!
