Rest, relax and restore at the Hideaway. This family and pet-friendly cabin is perfectly secluded in Forks Township, Sullivan County. The Hideaway is newly remodeled, yet maintains a rustic feel. Step outside to enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. It is not uncommon to see deer and turkeys strolling through the yard. Roast marshmallows in the outside fire pit or fish at the pond!
The Hideaway has been modified to include a ground level bedroom and bathroom with a handicap accessible shower. The cabin entryway is also equipped with a ramp for easy entry.
Sullivan County is a beautiful area with 2 state parks: World's End and Ricketts Glen.
Please Note: wifi is available at no cost, however like may rural areas, may not be the most reliable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway! The house was exactly as described. The property grounds exceeded our expectations- picturesque covered porch, cozy campfire space with a view, and lots of open space to run around. We have stayed at a different property owned by Doug and Adrienne; they are always wonderful hosts. We highly recommend this Hideaway in the PA mountains!

Great stay on a quiet property

We loved our stay, sitting on the porch and watching the rain. Playing games with the kids and going for hikes at Rickett’s Glen and World’s end.

Weekend stay

Accommodations were very nice everything we needed was in the cabin the kitchen was very nicely equipped. The beds were comfortable and furnished nicely. Only downfall was no tv channels and the tv upstairs did not work. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will book again.

Very clean and comfortable

Aside from lots of rain, our stay was at the Hideaway was very good. The cabin itself was very clean, comfortable beds and everything you need to be at home. The pond and pavilion down the road was a nice addition. Thanks for sharing your cabin with our family.

Love the Hideaway

This was the second time we had the privilege of staying at the Hideaway. It is a great location, very quiet and peaceful. Close to both Ricketts Glenn SP and Worlds End SP. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The owners are very nice and helpful. This is definitely a favorite of ours.

Awesome getaway!

We had a great extended weekend at The Hideaway! Even though it rained one night we were able to sit and enjoy the front porch. We made a couple trips in to the near by town Dushore. We visited antique shops, played games and relaxed! Can’t wait to go back!

Family Get Away

Fantastic place, was there with my wife, my daughter, and my two granddaughters. The house is absolutely gorgeous. You can see the care that went into it. My granddaughters loved the pond caught over 30 fish between them. Even though it rains a lot we had a great time. Can’t wait to get back.

The listing did not do this gem justice. This cabin is simple in design, with a comfortable modern cabin feel. The front porch is beautiful! The cabin is secluded and quiet. Host was Awesome with communication. Cabin was very clean and supplied all the basics.

Beautiful cabin near Worlds End and Loyal Sock state forests

We stayed for two nights at the end of July in this charming cabin. It is located in a wooded lot in a beautiful rural setting, but yet close to the town of Dushore. I loved how quiet and peaceful is was. The property is well kept and very clean. Our host provided good instructions. The cabin is located 15miles to Worlds End and Loyal Sock state parks. I am sorry that we didn't stay longer.
