Our 4-bd, 4-bth house w/ in home elevator in Laguna Beach on the calm west end of Panama City Beach, FL. Close to the scenic 30A district, located on a quiet St, just steps from sugar-white sand beaches! 2 tw bunk bds, 1 full bd w/ on Suite bth & king bd w/ on Suite bth on the 1st flr. The 2nd level has open kitchen, dining, livingrm w/ 55” TV, fireplace, bonus Den w/ 50” TV. Full laundry room complete the 2nd level. The owner suite and on suite bth on the top floor. BBQ on livingrm balcony.

The home is nice, location is great, if you like to be out of the hustle and bustle! A big thing for us is the A/C. We like to be cool and it definitely did its job! Washer and dryer were in great working order! We were mislead on home having a working elevator which was a huge reason for the house selection due to having disable adult with us. He pretty much had to stay down stairs in the bed room area due to risk of falling coming down stairs. When host responded back we were told VRBO were asked several times to remove elevator from the listing. They now have removed the check for elevator for listing. Pictures remain on listing which is still misleading. We were offered a full refund to evacuate the home the evening of check in. There are 10 of us! There would be no place that short notice, peak season to rent. For the inconvenience we were offered compensation of 100. There were roaches in the home and the linen on the pull out sofa were dirty with sand. We just closed and did not use that space. We had a few family members get bug bites . The refrigerator/ freezer would not cool sufficient. The main tv in home was not functioning correctly. The host was aware they had a new remote sitting on an Amazon bag as you enter the home. The host gave direction to remove fire stick and “clear the catch” while watching it! The tv most likely out dated. There are lots of fall hazards in the home due to poor rug selection. A broom would be a great amenity for this home.

If it were clean, it would be great

Unfortunately this property made a very bad first impression. Upon arrival I had to find the circuit breaker in order to get anything on the 3rd floor to come on. Secondly, we had to vacuum and sweep the ENTIRE home to get up dead roaches and insects off the floor leaving us feeling like nothing had been cleaned in quite some time. The home and location itself are great and would get a better review if cleanliness wasn’t an issue. No problems with the instructions or landlords.

Hi Joseph, Thank you for the home and location compliment. It is greatly appreciated! Our home was clean and has pest control (because it is tropical region). I’m guessing the unprecedented winter storm caused both noted inconveniences. Our sincere apologies.

END OF THE YEAR 2022 ROAD TRIP FLORIDA

This property was just like the pictures on line! Beach right down the street, lake right in front ducks and all…. This home away from home was exactly that. Beds were extremely comfortable! Big beautiful kitchen well supplied with all needed utensils! The only thing was the add said fireplace but it wasn’t usable I love a fire place in the winter. The house is exactly 3 stories and each room as warm and as comfortable as the next! Beautiful spa tubs in master bathroom(3rd floor) and the large bedroom on the first floor. We travel often and worldwide, but this is the first place that we hated to leave. Usually we’re just ready to get back home but not this time! Sonja and her husband were right on top of everything. Sonja was an awesome owner. She took her time and walked us through all of our questions including places to go in Panama City Beach. A place we’ve never been before but may someday call home! Beautiful people that were very friendly and nice. I- 98 was the place to be. This freeway is close to the house and everything thing that you want to do, see and eat is right there including your very own bank. Thank you VRBO for sharing this house and thank you Sonja and spouse(sorry can’t remember his name) for being great owners to rent from.

We had a wonderful stay at this beach vacation rental! The home was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean every day.The property had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and the host was friendly, responsive, making check-in and check-out a breeze. One of our favorite features was the elevator—it was a huge plus, especially when hauling groceries and luggage up to the second-floor kitchen. It made settling in so much easier and was incredibly convenient throughout our stay.The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and provided plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy our vacation. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway. We would happily stay here again on our next trip!

The location is great, with it only being 20 min from the airport, minutes from pier park and other food and shopping. The check in process was good with clear instructions. There is ample parking for 2 cars and the complex is extremely quiet. When we arrived, the main tv in the living room was not working, and although the communication was decent with the hosts, the problem was not fixed and unfortunately with having 4 children and 5 adults in the home, it was an issue. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels by the front door, but just be aware that a large group will go through the “standard” supply of toilet paper and paper towels quickly. The rooms were very well spaced out, and the bedding was clean and beds were very comfortable. The home was very clean and the AC units on every floor was wonderful to control the temps in the home with it being so hot outside. The master bedroom is wonderful as well very comfortable and separate from the rest of the home. There was an outdoor shower that came in extremely handy after the beach to get washed up before entering the home. Unfortunately the listing had mentioned there was an elevator in the home, but the elevator was not operational, and the host explained that the elevator should not be in the listing. Overall i would give this property a 8.1/10 and would definitely book again in the future.

We will stay here every time we visit Panama City!

If you are looking for a quiet place close to the beach away from the majority of tourists, this is it! There are a few snack/ice cream places within walking distance and everything else is just a short drive away. I loved the 3 floors that ensured personal space yet still had room for everyone to join together for meals, playing games, etc. (bottom and top floors are bedrooms and middle floor is kitchen, dining, 2 living areas, laundry room) . The elevator is great for those days you are just too tired to climb the stairs after a long day on the beach and the air conditioners with individual controls for each floor are fantastic - never had a day/night that we were hot! Sonja was always quick to respond to questions I had - I would highly recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.
