Couple of issues found when we arrived1) ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom 2) closet door in downstairs bedroom 3) Bathtub knob in downstairs bedroom4) the whole unit was not cleaned properly ( lot of sand on the floor , mattresses and on the couches). It’s understandable in a beach city but we felt cleaners didn’t do their job properly. Overall, the host was responsive and respectful. We liked the stay and would have rated 5 stars if those issues were already taken care of.

James are good home inspector, he pointed me a few minors things need to fix and to painting. Also, he offer me as is to sell him the property. Thanks a lot for James offer, but I won’t accept it.

We had a very easy time with the renter. She actually let us in early to put food in the freezer

Location is outstanding. Very easy access to the beach and the home has plenty of space. Beds are comfortable and the putt putt outside is entertaining. Would highly recommend staying here. Beach has plenty of people nearby but is far from crowded.

Excellent stay

Beautiful home. It was a very short walk to the beach. Very convenient. Outside shower was nice for after the beach. Very homey. Can’t wait to go back already.

Great Location

The house could use a little bit of TLC and the downstairs had a bit of a mildew smell, but I think it was well worth it for the price, size of the house, and proximity to the beach. We also really enjoyed the short walk to alibi bar and grill next door. Ping is a great host and was quick to help with any questions or problems.

Awesome stay!

We had a wonderful time even though our stay was short. The beach access is right by the house which makes it very convenient. Also, the house was spacious and clean! The property owner was very friendly and always answered when I had questions. The mini putt putt golf area in the front was great to kill time. If we come back to the area I would rent this property again!!

Nice location. Light upstairs bedroom next to balcony wouldn’t work. Tubs kept clogging up. Only 3 of the tv’s would work. As far as location it was great. Would stay again. Thanks

Great Stay!!

We all had such a great time and a lot of that can be credited to this awesome house. The house was SO MUCH closer to the beach than we ever thought it’d be. Was worried about not being on the beach but the walk was quite literally nothing. We had 11 of us and all slept comfortably in a bed. The little extra bar room was really nice. The listings surrounding area was also great. Pier Park was about 25 minutes away. Because of the lack of big condos, even though we went end of March, the beach was not crowded at all. Also the communication and kindness from the owner was very appreciated. Highly recommend booking this property and hope to book it again myself!

One major problem

When booking properties, I specifically sorted for properties that had a hot tub available. (Multiple attendees have pain or joint issues that made this a requirement when selecting a property to book.) The property was listed as having a hot tub, but upon arrival there was no hot tub on site, and communication with the owner, indicated that the listing was in error. While the property was otherwise ideal, the enjoyment of multiple people was severely impacted by what I would consdier a deceptive listing.

Beds were uncomfortable especially the upstairs queen. Even our twelve year old grandson couldn't sleep on it. My daughter said that the queen felt like two box springs had been put together. She and grandson slept on the sectional. My husband and I slept sideways after the first night of not sleeping good on the king. My son and girlfriend didn't complain about the Master bedroom mattress. It's a wonderful property but needs some paint and new mattresses and a more detailed cleaning. It wasn't as clean as we are used to. There were no beach chairs as advertised except one rusty one. We ended up buying some. It's in a wonderful location. Our grandson enjoyed the putt-putt golf course after we swept it off. It could be a wonderful little oasis with some TLC. We had an enjoyable stay but would not stay again because of the bad mattresses.

Overall the stay was great. Plenty of room to spread out. It's Florida and there are ants. Just try not to leave anything sweet on the kitchen counter. Someone left a small container of sugar in the cabinet from a previous stay. They found it a brought friends. After the ant war of 2026 all went well.
