Fall Friends Escape

Me and three friends stayed at the Lunker House for 4 nights and used our location as a launching pad exploring Door County. The location was perfect for that purpose and it was a great property with a very nice, spacious kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were perfect and the place was clean and nice. My only comment would be to arrive during the daylight as it is very dark and difficult to tell which house is which. There are three similar houses sharing the same driveway. All in all, a great place with responsive owners that make your stay easy and enjoyable.

This location was exactly what we needed for our weekend. The location is just on the outskirts of downtown, but was easily accessible. The home itself was clean, had ample space and the kitchen was well-equipped.

Nice interior, no frills yard

The interior of the property was updated and clean, we did have a small issue with one of the shower drains, but it didn’t effect our stay. All in all it was a good setup for a visit to door county. We will be booking again.

We had a wonderful time at the Lunker House. The interior is beautiful and it was conveniently located in Sturegon Bay. We would definitely stay again!

Loved our stay here! We were a close drive to good restaurants and was easy to navigate from there to experience the rest of door county. The place was clean and relaxing and it was great being able to sit outside in the evenings by the fire pit!

Clean, comfortable, convenient

Great place to stay to visit Sturgeon Bay and Door County. Easy checkin and checkout process with good communication from the property manager. The property is very clean and is a quite comfortable place to stay. Also has a new/clean washer and dryer The driveway turn-in off of the highway is a bit difficult to find the first time, but once you do it once, it is not a problem. Recommend a street light or equivalent solution to mark the entrance at night would also be helpful.

Quiet getaway

Six old friends rented this place for our annual getaway. The kitchen is beautiful and living space is quite spacious. We really enjoyed having six beds! Will come back if it's available. It's quiet and we did see a couple deer and turkeys.

First trip to Door County

The property was fantastic!...very clean and the perfect size for our group. Enjoyed being greeted each morning by 3 deer right outside our back door. Enjoyed the seclusion and rural aspect of the home while also being a 5 min drive from the bayfront. Would definitely recommend!

Quiet and accessible

The PERfECt getaway for ladies week in door county

The Lunker House is beautiful and so well stocked. It was the perfect set up for my best friend and my teen daughters. Smart TV available for logging into Netflix or other apps. Looks brand new. The kitchen was stocked with seasonings, every pot or pan we needed - even a mixer for door county dips! It was conveniently located and the owner was a wonderfully fast communicator. Definitely a place I would recommend to others. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us!

Fishing Trip on Sturgeon Bay

We had a great experience fishing and the location was located close to several boat landings in the area. The house was clean and the check in was flawless. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for an outing in Sturgeon Bay.
