Quiet farm house

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet farm house. We had a nice fire in the firepit and enjoyed a star filled sky. We would stay again.

Quiet Place Near Liberty Hill

We (3 of us) travelled to attend a family reunion. The place is big, the beds were comfortable. It was well priced.

Delightful Stay at Working Ranch

Loved the ranch feel with barns, livestock, wildlife, and lots of outdoor space. Appreciated the proximity to the Bertram town center. Enjoyed the roomy kitchen and living areas of the house. Delighted in the multiple types of coffee that were provided by the host.

An amazing Country Stay

Katie was extremely helpful and attentive throughout our process. We fell in love with her home and location immediately. We will recommend this property to friends and family. The homemade cookies that greeted us were amazing💕

Planning our next stay!

This home couldn’t have been a better fit for our family and Katie was very welcoming and attentive! The house is nestled off the beaten path and offers immense privacy and security. You can tell that this property has had a lot of thought and love pored into it. We will be staying again soon!

Nice and quiet

Classic Texas home. Safe and secure gated entry. Clean and updated. Spacious home with indoor and outdoor screened dining. Convenient to highway 29. It was perfect for us to visit family and friends.

Beautiful!!

Pay attention to the directions from Apple Maps, not google. Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The location sits on top of a hill overlooking the horizon and the stars are bright and beautiful!! The home is beautiful inside and out, plenty of room for everyone and comfortable.

Quiet house in the Texas Hill country

The house was great. The host communication was one of the best I've ever had with any short term rental. Very response to the few small issues that came up. We got to see longhorns every day hanging out on the property. The firepit was great. Everything was great. We didn't cook a lot there, but the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need. We forgot to bring soap, but there's a Dollar General just down the road for anything like that if you need.

Property Manager Issue

Before our stay, I contacted Katie to ask about allowing my ex-husband to bring his service dog. She said no animals are allowed on the property. I said other arrangements will be made. Which they were. We stayed at the property for my son's wedding weekend. We did not stay much at the property other than sleep and shower. When we checked out I was accused of having a dog on the property. I was accused of a strong urine smell on a rug in the living area. I did not have a dog on the property, my ex actually stay at the grooms home they rented for the weekend and paid a fee for the dog to be there. Now Katie wants me to pay a fee for the cleaning. I am very disappointed and if she was that worried if I was going to bring a dog on the property she should have come to the property while we were staying there and checked out the situation. I also would not have asked her if the dog was allowed if I was going to allow the dog anyway.

I have successfully maintained a 5-star status for over 2 years. The credit card Stacie used to book our property repeatedly was denied due to "insufficient funds" before and after her stay. After Stacie checked out, our housekeeper, whom we have used for over 2 years, reported a urine stain and strong urine smell on the living room carpet. My housekeeper had no idea that Stacie inquired about bringing a dog beforehand. After reviewing the evidence, VRBO suggested to me that I charge Stacie a fee of $100 for damage to our property. Unfortunately, I am unable to do so since a charge to Stacie's card repeatedly is denied due to "insufficient funds". I strongly suggest that other property owners do not rent to Stacie Kelley.

Family Getaway

From reservation to check-out, everything went perfectly! We visit the area often and will be using this place as long as it is available!! Katie was a great host! Answered our questions immediately! Would give 6 stars if available!!

Starry nights

It was a great spot to wind down after working a long day at the festival. The staff are from Austin so it was nice to get away! We will definitely book again when we are in the area for an event.
