Pointe West is a lovely resort located on the west end of the island and is great for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle. We do have in our listing a map with location. Also listed is the beach club resort fee of $25 per person 4 and over. We look forward to hosting you!

We appreciate your stay and feedback. Though off season our rentals are inspected weekly and since at a coastal community, treated for any unwanted guests. Had you contacted us during your stay we would have more than happy to address any issues. We haven't had feedback of this sort. Thank you for your review of the beautiful and perfectly located Sol Searching. You can be beach or pool side in minutes. We are glad you found our rental in tip top shape! We try to think of everything so while you are "home" you may relax and enjoy. I hope you were able to catch some amazing gulf breezes and sunrises from our spacious and private balcony; they are simply the best! In regard to The Beach Club and their amenities, we do note on our listing that if you wish to use those facilities there is a $15 per person, per stay charge for guests 4 and up. The Beach, walking trails and fishing ponds for example are open to all guests, complimentary. The Beach Club is a separate business and we have no control over their pricing and policies. They do have two beautiful pool areas, a well-equipped gym and game room as well as changing and shower facilites. I have shared your feedback with them. The community of Pointe West is 20miles from the "tourist" zone of Galveston. Guests choose the area to escape the traffic and crowds. Out here you will find an uncrowded, clean and spacious beach, beautiful scenery, local birds and quiet. Perfect for couple, family and friends to get away and make memories together without spending a lot of money in the "tourist" zone. A well stocked and beautifully decorated vacation rental that brings the outside ocean views in and radiates peace and relaxation. Close to both the pool and beach club for fun in the sun. Sounds like you enjoyed all the fun Pointe West offers and then some. Mosquitos on a occassion will rear their ugly heads here, the county does a aerial spray weekly as well as the community sprays, both normally keeps them away. We hope you will come again soon!
