Lakefront, 1st floor, 1 bedroom 2 full bath condo on the north shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe just minutes away from: NorthStar, Alpine, Palisades Tahoe (formerly known as Squaw Valley) and Homewood. Enjoy breathtaking views from your own private deck while warming up by the woodburning fireplace or relax using the community sauna après ski. Chinquapins gated community is located in Carnelian Bay Ca. This quaint community is the perfect Tahoe Vacation. This getaway is just steps to the lake with incredible amenities: 6 tennis courts, 1 lakefront tennis court, fenced-in pool, 2 piers, buoy rental available, volleyball, bocce ball, kids play structure, pickleball, over 1 mile of lakefront walking path, and less than 12 miles away from 4 ski resorts Primary Suite is a large comfortable bedroom with a walk-in closet. Remodeled, well-furnished kitchen with all new kitchen items including a Keurig coffee brewer. Large dining room table, large living room with stone fireplace (wood provided), pull-out sofa bed, two new flatscreen smart TVs to stream your favorite shows , high-speed WIFI, blue tooth music source, and games at the house. The private deck has new patio furniture and a BBQ. Monthly/Seasonal rental is also available. Note stairs are required to enter the unit, not handicap accessible. Snow removal is included.

This is a great getaway for couples! Very cozy and well appointed. Ideal location as well. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful View, Comfortable Stay

As others mentioned, the bed was very comfortable. The condo is rustic and takes a bit to warm up in the winter. Overall great stay. It was nice to have access to the lake for a polar plunge!

Awesome getaway

Our stay at Sean's apartment was incredible. First off, the views from the living room and back porch are pretty sweet. I expected a good view from the pictures but it was even more impressive than I expected. The apartment was very clean and the checkout instructions were super straightforward. We didn't do too much cooking so can't comment on kitchen appliances but it seemed like the kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook a nice meal. The bedroom was very spacious with a gigantic, comfy bed. Chinquapin is super close to downtown Tahoe city (about a 7 min drive) with plenty of options for restaurants and shops, but it was also really nice being in this secluded, gated community that felt very tucked away from the busier downtown area. Parking right in front of the unit was never an issue. Also, easy access the lakeside tennis court on the property was a big plus. Really didn't have any issues or complaints at any point but Sean texted me as soon as we checked in and made it clear I shouldn't hesitate to text w/ questions or concerns. Would 100% stay in this spot again for our next trip to Tahoe.

Just like Home!

Nice condo in a great location, great view with all the amenities of home. It had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in [even my own, LOL] Sean the owner was great. We had an issue when we checked in and he got right on it to rectify the problem. I wouldn't hesitate to rent again.

Perfect Summer Getaway

The property was wonderful and the location was perfect. Family friendly but quiet and peaceful. The amenities including the beach and pier, pool and courts were all great. Unit was comfortable and kitchen well-supplied. We would definitely return! Thank you!

Fabulous stay!

Condo and property exceeded our expectations! Steps to the water. Property was quiet, very well maintained and many options for lounging along the water. There os a well groomed sand beach onsite. We had a kayak delivered and paddled right out of the back of the condo. Only a short drive into Tahoe City for dining, shopping, marina and public beaches. Owner was very resopnsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this rental.

Loved this place! Great views of the lake every morning. The grounds are wonderful as well to explore, so much history there. Quality kitchen amenities. Made cooking onsite very easy.

Lovely condo apartment overlooking the lake

The apartment is exactly as described: a wonderful view over the lake, very spacious and functional layout. My husband, our 5yo son and I felt very comfortable during our 5-day visit. The apartment was very clean (for instance, a new sponge was provided by the kitchen sink for us to use, the soap dispensers were full in the 2 bathrooms). The linen and kitchen equipment are of great quality. The kitchen is very well stocked and pleasant to use. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach out to him. We felt that the host had really thought through how to give the best experience to renters. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect ski weekend getaway spot

This is an excellent option for a ski weekend in Tahoe. The unit was in great condition, had many great amenities, and was the perfect distance to town, mountains, etc.

Communicative Host, Beautiful, Simple

Sean was communicative and readily available. Super great host. The kitchen was stoked with all the equipment you need. It sounds simple but having cutting scissors, can opener, ample bowls and silverware, etc. really can make a difference. The place and view is beautiful! And super close to town, grocery store, pubs and resorts. Highly recommend the Mediterranean restaurant. The master bed was SO comfy, and my partner and I also slept in the living room sofa bed to wake up to the lake sunrise, and that was nice as well. There’s also a cot in the closet if you needed a third sleeping spot. Heat worked great. The televisions don’t have cable, so be equipped with streaming service username and passwords! Parking is open and easy - at least when we went there was always parking right next to our place. There was the crazy snowstorm and the streets in the gated community were plowed very early so it didn’t interrupt our early treks to the ski resort. Will be returning.

Condo with an amazing view!!

My husband and I fell in love with the view from this amazing condo immediately. The complex was secure and the neighbors we ran into were friendly and helpful. We were close to Tahoe City. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We throughly enjoyed the accommodations that were located in a gated community and offered an outstanding lake view. The condo was conveniently located near hiking trails, numerous restaurants and scenic activities. Highly recommend.

5 star escape

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The view from the patio alone is worth the price of admission but the whole property is wonderful. Enjoyed the pool and the pickleball courts, and it's a super convenient location for everything in North Tahoe. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

Beautiful Tahoe Retreat

We had the best vacation! Host communicates very well and the property was beautiful! Lovely view and perfect accommodations for a romantic trip. Loved being so close to Tahoe City and we also enjoyed the pool at the complex.

Loved this property and it's location

Loved this property overall, for comfort, views, convenience to groceries, restaurants, beach, waterfront, etc. The owner was not only available when we needed him, he was pleasant and responsive. The photos shown of this property are quite accurate. Nice furnishings as well as a kitchen fully stocked with "nice" dishes, "nice" glassware, flatware and all the utensils needed, not to mention a full spice rack. We also fully enjoyed all the snacks and little extras this owner provides for his guests. I thought the floors could be a little cleaner, but overall, very very nice place. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Awesome view/location

We LOVED this property. the view is even better in person. Great lake access. Comfy bed. Kitchen stocked with most anything you'd need, even spices. Perfect for a couple of family of 4. Just north of Tahoe City. Host Sean was easy to communication with. You will feel like you are living in a tree house surrounded by pine and fir trees. Highly recommend

Breathtaking View

This was our first trip to Lake Tahoe and our choice of staying here definitely didn't disappoint us! Sitting on the patio every morning with coffee watching the sunset was astonishing. The grounds were all well kept up and condo was very clean with all amenities. Great location to Tahoe City south or North to Inclince Village. Thanks Sean for making this trip perfect!
