Cozy 2 bed home with good views of the lake through the abundant trees surrounding the house. Enjoy the birds, blue skies, peace and quiet from having a private setting and a fenced yard.
Relax in the large hot tub overlooking Zephyr Cove beach or enjoy all the amenities that the Casinos and Heavenly provides for winter and summer fun that are only about 3 miles away. Stream your favorite movie or stay connected with work and get online with our High Speed Wireless Internet.
The home has tiled floors in the entry, kitchen/dining area and bathroom. Washer and dryer and all other appliances are available. Fully equipped to ensure you and your family and friends will have a memorable experience.
Enjoy quality linens and bedding in our bedrooms. Master has 1 Queen Bed, Bedroom 2 has full bed (sleeping 2 average size adults) and pull out single bed.
Parking for 2 cars max.
Pets welcome ONLY after discussion with owner.

Beautiful views and perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay here and would book again in a heartbeat. The pictures do not do it justice at all! There are beautiful views from almost every room, the hot tub and huge private deck. We cooked lots of meals and the home had everything we needed and way more. The location is absolutely perfect - close to the restaurants and events of South Lake but still remote and tucked away. It’s extremely spacious and beautiful.

Great View Great Kitchen

Owner was super responsive! The kitchen had ALL the things needed to make meals, and we did ALL meals there all four days. Jacuzzi had great view! Will stay there again if/when we visit in the future

Perfect

From start to finish, everything was great. The location was fantastic with beautiful views of the lake, the property itself was spacious, clean, plenty of amenities but what really stands out is the communication/interaction with the owner. Wouldn’t even think twice about staying there again.

Great view, very close to heavenly

We loved our stay! We stayed for a month and had a wonderful time skiing at heavenly and enjoying the views of Lake Tahoe.

Great Getaway

Great location and value

Spent wonderful week at Daleen's Tahoe getaway. Great place for small family, well appointed with everything you'd need and more. The location is amazing for dog and kid-friendly beaches, trails, parks, and stores/shops. Million dollar views from most rooms and the deck, and short walk just up the hill. Daleen was a great host and will definitely come back again.

nice getaway

Great place to stay. Loved the view of the lake from inside and outside balcony. Hot tub was a great bonus. Good location -- close to beach, shops, casinos, etc.

Great location for any type of Lake Tahoe activity.

Loved staying here for a hiking vacation, although very convenient for any Lake Tahoe activity. Close to Everything. Beautiful lake view from living room and deck. Daleen was very helpful and welcoming.

This Cabin Excels

1. Location is perfect, you have everything about 20-30 min driving, some beaches are extremely close like Nevada beach, and the Marina. The Safeway is close too. The neighborhood is very quiet and private. 2. The hot tube is big and clean, easily 6 people can fit in there, the views from there makes a perfect combination of relaxation. 3. The deck have amazing views too, and a lot of cute visitors like birds, squirrels having food and jumping thru the pines. very beautiful experience, we ate on the terrace all the time and had BBQ. 4. Cleaning is perfect, everything was disinfected and sanitized, fresh towels and bed sheets, all the kitchen and fridge was clean, the living room and furniture too, My family and I feel safe using every kitchen utensil. You can tell that the cleaning was a dedicated and careful work. 5. The manager is very friendly, she really cares about your enjoying, if you have any specific requirement don't be afraid to communicate with her. 6. Overall Review: This cabin was by far the best price-benefit-location-clean-amenities I had ever have at Tahoe.

Great location!

We had a great stay at this house in a terrific location right near Zephyr Cove beach. The hot tub was wonderful, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Overall a great place to land at Tahoe for our stay.

Cozy

We were impressed by the owner's responsiveness to a few issues we experienced. It was a good place to stay for our family of four - a little tight, but cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with everything we needed to cook all of our meals at home (except the food of course). The master bed is very firm, the second bedroom bed is more soft and has a pull out bed so our 2 kids could each have their own bed. Overall a nice place to stay.

Relaxing cabin with lake views

We spent 4 days at this property as part of a 3 week trip to California and had a very relaxing time. The house is much bigger than we expected and had everything for a relaxing time - hot tub and decking with lovely views of the lake, pool table, TVs, videos and gas barbecue. The photos do not do this property justice. The kitchen is very well equipped It is very handy for all activities around the lake including the beach at Zephyr Cove and a large Safeway supermarket just down the road.

Cozy & Inviting....felt just like home!

My husband and I stayed here during our three week trip out west. I was the perfect place to relax after a long day of activities. The views are absolutely gorgeous, and everything we needed to prepare meals was provided. Relaxing in the jacuzzi tub at sunset was the perfect ending to a perfect day.We were very pleased with our stay at Daleen's place, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again when we visit South Lake Tahoe in he future.

Wonderful, Cozy Place

The house is larger and more beautiful than the pictures displayed. Everything in the home was clean and neat. I had a lovely time. On my next trip to Tahoe, I will try to secure this house again, as well as recommend to family and friends.

Our favorite place!

Such and amazing beautiful place to stay and relax. The views are absolutely breathtaking! This home has everything you need plus a bunch of "extras"-a gorgeous view, deck, hot tub, gas grill, new washer and dryer, super comfy beds ect. As usual when we arrived the place had just been cleaned and it looked perfect! Lots of extra towels, sheets and blankets and unlimited hot water. We once again had a great vacation and cannot wait to return.

PERFECT ALTERNATIVE

A group of friends an I were going up to tahoe to camp in mid may. Unfortunately, the weather report said snow snow snow. So, last minute I found this affordable rental with VIEWS OF THE LAKE. I mean breathtaking views. And a hot tub with those views. The hot tub was clean and hot and seemed as though it was set up just for us. And perhaps since i booked the rental within a week of staying there things weren't as stocked as they could have been- there was no firewood at all. In fact, the yard was spewed with trash. The house had cobwebs around and smelled so strongly of just sprayed chemical air freshner we had to open all the windows for the first hour. There was no upstairs stereo (we brought up the stereo from downstairs to have music in the main living area). And it took two weeks to get my deposit back. All that said, it was a last minute rental and Daleen was out of the country which could have been reason for all of it. The photos here don't do the house justice. It was wonderful to sit on comfy couches and watch movies. The downstairs has a pool table and darts and mini-bar. The kitchen was wells stocked and there was a dishwasher (thank goodness). It was pure magic sitting in the hot tub at night with whiteout snow. Cheers to not being in tents freezing our toes off.

DD's place was just perfe...

DD's place was just perfect for our family! The views were worth everything- The hot tub was nice and big with the perfect temp and it felt like home, the kitchen was well stocked too. We had a great experience and look forward to many more in this home. Infact, we will be back soon, October.

This VRBO rental is the b...

This VRBO rental is the best we have stayed at in the Lake Tahoe area. It is perfect for two couples or even for a large family. We stayed for three nights and four days. The hot tub was very well maintained and HUGE! It also has a beautiful view of the Lake from it. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything you could possible need to cook. Plus, Safeway is only a mile away for you to your your items you need. There are two great beaches within 1 mile of the home which both have kayak rentals. Loved this place and will be going back time and time again! Thank you Daleen!

The cabin was perfect for...

The cabin was perfect for a vacation getaway. Zephyr Cove is only minutes away from the Heavenly gondola, but still a peaceful retreat overlooking the lake. If you're not heading outside, Daleen has a great selection of music, movies, and keeps the kitchen stocked with everything you'll need to cook at home. Everything is really wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

Every year I rent a place...

Every year I rent a place somewhere in Tahoe through VRBO. Most places are nice, but Daleen's place is just perfect for me. It's got a hot tub overlooking the lake, great kitchen for cooking, wonderful living room with fireplace, great bedrooms, wireless Internet, and a great location (near Heavenly but away from South Lake). Daleen, the owner, lives downstairs and is just the most interesting and wonderful host. She will sit and have a glass of wine with you or just leave you to enjoy your vacation. I enjoyed a nice mix of both. I will certainly come back again.
