This stunning Grand Chalet styled retreat is idyllically located in the Caribbean rain forest, El Yunque. Designed for the best experience and activities in contact with nature.

Perfect and fully furnished for large groups (up to 11 guest), more guest are welcome for a small fee (inflated mattress NOT included). Complemented with everything for a blast such as pool table, fully equipped kitchen, Private 46'x24' In-ground Pool with waterfall, and Charcoal BBQ. Independent A/C units in all bedrooms .

At our tropical paradise, Casa Grande, you will be surrounded by the most iconic rain forest sights, to the sounds of the gentle river and tropical forest breezes. Discover the beautiful landscape that surrounds Casa Grande. A magical and unique place where you find peace, direct contact with nature, a variety of endemic birds and where you have private access to a segment of the Espiritu Santo river that runs through the property.

Slip into the private resort style pool or begin exploring the endless list of activities available nearby such as beach time, jet ski, golfing, hiking, fishing, horseback riding and others. The house was beautiful- nice kitchen and it felt special compared to so many condos! We loved our stay, the pool and having adventures on the grounds surrounding the house!

Paradise in the rainforest

Had an amazing time at Casa Grande. Our own slice of Puerto Rico. Plenty of room and an overall great place to hang with family and friends.

50th Birthday in the Rain Forest

What a great place to celebrate your 50th. Place was incredible. Great views, access to your own private river, with a pool table and pool to keep kids entertained. Host was quick to respond. ABSOLUTLEY coming back.

Awesome Forrest paradise

Spacious, private and comfortable property. The surroundings are amazing!! Excellent place to just disconnect and relax enjoying nature. The amenities are great. Overall a great place. Only negative is that I wish the communication with the property owner or manager was better but not biggie I will still rent it soon

Hidden Gem

Great location with RIVER ACCESS!! Property is clean and well equipped. Pool was a perk with children. We had a fabulous time!! Owners are helpful and responsive! Will be back.

Nice place for family with older kids.

This rustic property feels very secure and is in a convenient and mostly quiet location. The pool was lovely. There’s also a large grassy are on the other side of the house. Short drives to groceries, great restaurants, beach and El Yunque. We enjoyed the river access though be advised it is a very steep and not completely landscaped path to sit down at it. The house was clean and spacious.

Beautiful mountain home!

Beautiful home with tons of space! Very clean and secure and loved the pool and outdoor space! Gorgeous views (and sounds) of the river. Had everything we needed including lots of towels and kitchen supplies. The windows that opened from the kitchen overlooking the river was one of our favorite parts. Not too much trouble at all to find and a great location not too far from a grocery store and pharmacy but definitely private and serene and a quick ride to Luquillo beach. We loved our stay here and would absolutely book here again!

Outdoor wonder

Wonderful for nature lovers. Abundant birds songs in the morning and frogs chirping at night. The pool was very clean and was routinely serviced on our first day. Walk to river is for experienced hikers as it is steep and rocky. Nice once you get to river. Inside the property the open air kitchen was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and towels and bedding smelled freshly laundered. The living and bedrooms need updating. Several of the windows were missing screens, one had a wood plank covering broken glass. Inside living room furniture not comfortable to sit on. Fortunately the weather was perfect so we did not spend much time inside. Entering and exiting the house includes multiple steep stairways, not great for those unstable or with mobility issues. Also had to exit the front door, and descend stairs to get to pool and outside concrete is cracked requiring shoes to walk to pool. Multiple outdoor decks pleasant but not enough seating for all.

Not a great experience.

This was not a great trip for us. Started with a delayed flight, not the hosts fault, but when I hadn’t received the lockbox code by 2:30pm I message them asking for it because we were going to be without service at check in time. Some of our friends arrived in PR on time and headed to the house at 2pm so make sure they’d be able to access it. The cleaning lady gave them the code and they left till check-in. We land in PR to a welcome message to a different families name and a barrage of messages that we violated the rental policy by checking in early, which no one did. I’m mortified the place has been double booked. We then hear nothing from the host.At one point part of the island loses power, not the hosts fault, but the property is gated and we can’t leave without power to the gate. Message the host about being stuck, no reply. Had to hook a generator up to run a fridge to save our food which we lost anyways. Power returns after 13 hours, still nothing from the host. Night before checkout it’s down pouring. The roofs started leaking on all floors. Water dripping into the upstairs bedrooms, on the floors, in the kitchen and through the light fixtures on the first floor. Message the host and nothing. Finally replies the morning of checkout asking when they can schedule maintenance to check it. Property is covered in motion cameras inside and out. No oven in kitchen as advertised. Hot water is hit or miss. Pool is very nice and location in Rio Grande is great though.

At Casa Grande we strive to provide oir guests with a great experience during their stay. Thank you for your candid feedback. After carefully reviewing your concerns and consulting with guest services I was informed thst you messages were addressed as soon as they were received , unfortunately that was after the power was restored due tonthe fact that is was a island wide power outage and the internet and other services were down gor the duration of your emergency request. Itnwas also identified a minor leak in the kitchen area of the chalet, which was addressed and repaired upon your departure. On another note cameras are imatalled for our guests safety in the OUTSIDE perimeter of the property and in the events area where the pool tablenis located (open space). Thanknyou formyour concerns and your kind words ofnsupport.

Just 6 minutes driving from road #3 and less than 30 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic)
