Private adult couples retreat by a relaxing creek.

This is truly a property that has to be seen to believe, (Sorry, no children allowed due to not having child safety measures in place.) NCC is a hand built (not manufactured) timber frame cabin located on 3 acres with a flowing creek running through the property. A beautiful 3/4 loft open bedroom. Living room / Kitchen areas downstairs with electric stove. Wood burning fireplace as optional heat source. Mini split heat/air, washer/dryer, 1800s cast iron tub (no shower), NO WIFI, limited cell service unless you have AT&T, Antenna tv and DVD player. Large rock outside fire pit and covered timber shelter. Owners on adjacent property for quick response if guest needs arise. No guests allowed other than paid guests, sorry. (Owners dogs do roam the property, so no other pets allowed.) Daily maid service not provided. Outside smoking permitted. No parties or gatherings allowed. Firewood is supplied free of charge for fires inside and out.

Perfect place for Peace

I stayed for a month while working the Hurricane Helene relief. The owners were so gracious and nice. It is a truly beautiful cabin.

Amazingly Peaceful

Beautiful,quiet,peaceful. Even got to feed the animals across from the church coming and going. Definitely coming back in the spring.

Fantastic cabin and property!

This cabin is beautiful and so is the property it’s on. Ric, the host is great and was very hospitable. Had an awesome time. So peaceful and relaxing. Loved it and would enjoy coming back.

Great stay

Feels remote but only minutes from good food and about 45 min to an hr to Blowing Rock and Boone. Great place to disconect , only had one bar of cell service and no wifi. But what's the point of going to a place like this just to stare at screens.

Absolutely charming!!

You will be blown away with how cozy, expertly decorated, and comfortable. You will not want to leave! No wifi and cell service spotty but ours worked fine. Whole shed of wood provided for the fireplace. Highly recommended!!

Loved this cabin!!

Absolutely loved staying here. Perfect getaway from the outside world. Cozy and warm, with a beautiful fireplace and rocking chairs to relax in on the front porch. The owners went above and beyond in thinking of everything you could need for a relaxing stay. And the 1800's bathtub was amazing!

Beautiful cabin

We loved this cabin, very secluded and quite. Fireplace was amazing and they supplied kindling and wood!! Wife really enjoyed soaking in the tub. Very nice fire pit and outdoor area to hang out around. Would highly recommend this cabin!!

Girls Weekend

This beautiful cabin is just as it appears, if not better in person. We had a wonderful night enjoying the fire pit and the peace and quiet. Ric and Madonna were excellent hosts and we hope to be back again!
