Lovely Getaway Spot

We stayed here while doing a guided fishing tour on Rodman Reservoir each day. The house was clean, easy to find and met all our needs.

Country Comfort

We spent an active week at this lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings - swimming, canoeing, fishing, and enjoying campfires and the wildlife on the property. There are also nice nature parks and preserves nearby. The cottage is spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner is most accommodating. We had a very pleasant stay.

Great Retreat

I took my adult kids and grand kids for a weekend at the lake! It was very secluded and relaxing. We took a short 30 minute drive to Silver Springs State Park and really enjoyed it. The house is comfy and lovely. The internet service was spotty, so i woukd rrvommend bringing a dvd player and some movies for when it goes out. Overall a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Property Near Family

We chose this location because it was close to our relatives who were hosting a Thanksgiving gathering. It was conveniently located, close enough to stores but still remote enough for privacy. The lake was beautiful, and the property managers offered a variety of amenities to make our stay even more enjoyable. Our only warning would be to understand that the drinking water in that part of Florida does have a sulfur smell and taste to it, so bring your own drinking water if that bothers you.

Peaceful relaxing break

My husband, me and our 3 daughters stayed here for 4 nights. We enjoyed the house with everything we needed to prepare meals and plenty of space for all of us. All we had to do was bring our food and fishing poles. My husband caught a huge 10 lb bass off the dock with me splashing on a float right there. We were were catching bass and bream daily. Perfect place with great amenities for a relaxing break in a beautiful place.

Lovely home with great amenities

Fishing, eating, comfortable beds, and enjoying the family! Made a huge fire for marshmallow s’mores in a huge backyard leading out to the dock. Lots of room to gather for food and playing games. Very cute decor and everything you need to cook. Much nicer than I expected! Caught a huge bass off the dock with shiners from the bait shop. Master suite located away from the other bedrooms.

Just Ok

The location on the lake was beautiful. That is the only good part. When we arrived there was ice cream cups and spoons in the sink. The floor was dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned. The internet was non-existant. We had to use our hotspot on our phone. If you plan on cooking, don't. There is 1 pot that has peeling non stick coating and 1 pan. The fridge was gross. Something sticky was on every shelf. The main bedroom had dead bugs throughout the room. The house needs a deep cleaning. This house has the potential to be great but it falls really short.

Enchanting Holiday

My best friend and I spent a week at this lovely property, and were very sad to go! The house is well-appointed, had everything we needed to cook a few meals, and everything we needed to be cozy and comfortable. The real winners here are the lake, the amazing dock, and the sweet fire pit, all lit up with delightful lights all around. We spent our days on the dock, reading and napping, and the evenings around the fire. We were here when it was especially cold, so the fire was key! We loved that it is off the beaten track, very quiet and secluded. And just a 10-20 minutes drive could get us to some restaurants and stores. We would love to return! Thank you Kim, for the great hospitality! And Merry Christmas!

Great weekend getaway

What a lovely place to spend a weekend! Lots of rain made the end of the dock disappear, but the view was still wonderful! We loved the spacious living area and the cozy fire pit setup. We appreciated the kitchen provisions left by the hosts, I wish more would do that. We came up to visit family and hosted a dinner. The kitchen had plenty of room and all the necessities. The kids found every nook and cranny of the outside, exploring the dock and lake view. The fire pit was perfect for s’mores and relaxing at the end of the day.
