Enjoyable Stay!

Hard to beat the location. Could get to anything around Oakhurst in 15 minutes or less. Owner was gracious and made sure we had everything we needed.

We just had our first trip to Yosemite, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The house in Oakhurst was super close to the park entrance and also near some great shopping spots. It offered plenty of space for our group of four, and we loved having two king-size beds—such a treat! We really enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and firing up the grill for some delicious meals. Jessie was an amazing host, always keeping in touch and making sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent place to stay when visiting Yosemite NP

Lovely nature vacation

We enjoyed the closeness to Yosemite and bass lake while having to quiet isolation of out of the park or high tourist area. The house was very comfortable for family, perfect for having grandparents and children all in same house.

Im going to give a honest review me and my husband travel extensively. We stay in hotels and vrbo . The problem is the house needs more cleaning and updating. Most of the seating is high stools even for the dinner table .I have back problems was only able to sit on the couch .The outside is filthy and full of spiderwebs we used the bbq so the outside was important to us the cushions were ripped and filthy i will attach picture. The other problem is if your indecisive or want to invite or your in town to visit family i would not recommend this rental they charge 100 each additional person they see come in the door ,which it was upsetting because 2 of our college kids decided to make the trip and he was not flexible about it ,really?? What a joke he didn't even provide a bed or extra shower soap ...so 100 person is crazy. I brought extra air mattresses and went to buy hair soap.The soap they provide is the size of your little finger and the bar soap is the size of a quarter so if you want a good shower dont count on it.And the water pressure was a few tinkles .I left the property at 8am and tiddy i wanted to run out of there and was upset about the additional 200.What if you just have family visiting and you want them to stay the night ,I was disappointed never in my travels have any owners wanted additional for basically nothing. The owner was polite and responded when we called him but we we were honest about our additional children he was quick to say i need to pay fa

Excellent Stay

The property looked just as it was pictured. The home was very clean and roomy. Jessie was so easy to communicate with. This was the easiest checkout list I have ever seen at my stays using VRBO. Highly recommend!

Great time

We had a great time and will definitely stay here again. This house was so cozy and close to Yosemite. We visited Yosemite for the day and were able to have this house as home base. We also played in the snow in Fish Camp. An overall great time and a clean home.

Comfortable stay

This house worked great for our family trip to Yosemite! It was very clean and comfortable for the six of us. The outside space was beautiful. The procedure for checking in and out was easy and quick. The only recommendation we would have is that the cooking implements could use some updating.

Baby Moon with Friends

Came here for a baby moon from L.A., Just a quick overnight stay. The place is beautiful—colossal yard, spacious home, just outside Yosemite NP. You listen to frogs at night, which is soothing, and you see deer during the day. The kitchen was the perfect size for the six of us to cook, and the grill outside was the perfect addition. This place is ideal for relaxing or just adventuring -- it would stay again. This did not affect my overall rating, but the beds and pillows were all too firm; bring your pillows, for sure!

Great...with a couple things

Need to begin by saying that we loved our time at this house in Oakhurst. Clean, plenty of space, beautiful location and property. So many great things! There were a couple minor things that would have made our stay even better. These aren't necessarily negatives...just things that could potentially make a guest's stay easier/better. The living room could use 1 more seat (a recliner or other type of comfy chair). With a group of 5 or 6, the couch runs out of space, leaving a guest to sit at the kitchen peninsula or dining room chair. Also, TVs in the guest rooms would be awesome! Sometimes its nice to be able and relax in the rooms and having a TV in the rooms would be perfect. They're so inexpensive now, we don't think that would be cost prohibitive as an owner. Lastly, some extra trash bags (2) and paper towel roll (1) would have been perfect. With 5 folks staying for 3 days, we ran out of towels quick and the trash filled up with takeout boxes, etc. Again...we really want to emphasize how much we loved the place. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the property was beautiful. The things I added as critiques were little tips that we as guests wanted to leave behind. Overall we loved it and we hope to be back next year. Thank You!

Fantastic experience

The host is extremely supportive and willing to help all the time. I was very touched by her attitude especially when I mentioned I travelled with my disabled brother who needs rest in property as early as possible. She tried her best and let us in at lunch time so that we can carry out our plan at Yosemite! The property is stunning. Very clean and cozy. Ideal for a small group traveling around the national park.Will definitely come back again!

Perfect for Home Base

The house is in a quiet easy to find location and was just what we needed for a home base. My family stayed there for our annual hiking trip and nothing like “home” after a long day on the trails. We had everything we needed to cook and relax. The beds were very comfortable. The owner checked in with us and very quick to respond with any questions! Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!
