Come and stay in our beautiful country home in the spectacular southern Sierra. We are only 17 gorgeous miles from the entrance into Yosemite National Park. Spend the day hiking the trails in Yosemite then come home and enjoy a refreshing swim in the large, private in-ground pool. Relax in our comfy hammocks or play horseshoes and badminton. Like to read? Curl up in one of our outdoor lounge chairs, relax, read and enjoy the sweet smelling mountain air. We have a stainless steel grill to BBQ to your heart’s delight. After dinner soak in our secluded therapeutic mineral spa reviving sore, trail weary muscles. You are only 7 minutes from the mountain village of Oakhurst where you can dine out in one of our many restaurants, take in a movie or perhaps a play at the Golden Chain Theater. A 30-minute drive up historic Hwy 49 takes you to Mariposa, an authentic gold rush town with the oldest continuously working courthouse in California, and visit one of the best museums in the area. Bass Lake is only 10 minutes away from our country home if you want to spend the day fishing and boating. Our area has many beautiful drives to take, trails to hike and things to do. Come and visit and you will want to come back again and again and again.

The house is amazing! It it very large with an awesome fenced in yard. The pool and hot tub at this price point are such awesome things to have available. Very clean and the A/C is great. Perfect for families with kids and dogs or really anyone looking for a fun getaway. 10 out of 10 would stay again.

Christina is an excellent host and her property is beyond compare. The home is clean, well stocked and the grounds are unbelievable. Beds were comfortable, pillows too. The kitchen was better stocked than my own! The pool and hot tub were so fun. Our dog enjoyed the huge fenced yard with lots of grass to roll in, and enough birds and squirrels to keep her occupied for hours. Morning coffee on the porch, or back porch rocking after dinner, it was the perfect escape for us. I just can't say enough good things about this home and host! We cannot wait to go back

This house was awesome! The pool and hot tub were our favorite features, but the comfortable master bedroom and big back porch were a plus too. The kitchen had everything needed to create a home cooked meal, including spices, condiments, and box mixes. The bowls of snacks and chocolates were a very nice touch. Oakhurst is a nice little town, that offers anything you need, and the nearness to Yosemite was a huge benefit. Christina was a wonderful host, that even came to give a personal welcome when we arrived. We would definitely stay here again, if we return to this area.

There is a reason why we keep coming back - this place is phenomenal! It has everything you can ask for and more. The kitchen is well stocked, the home is clean and comfortable, the pool and hot tub are a great added bonus and the fact that I can bring my pet and the grounds are perfect for a dog just makes this even more appealing as a family vacation spot! Add to that that it is close to downtown Oakhurst, Bass Lake and Yosemite. We always have a very enjoyable time when we come here and feel that it just keeps getting better and better. Thank you Chris for another perfect family vacation! Looking forward to coming again next year!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay near Bass Lake and Yosemite this is it! The layout of the house is perfect for quality family time. We equally loved sitting on both the front and back porches watching our kids play. The hosts thought of everything we might need! They even left snacks and smores supplies out for us The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook. The swimming pool and hot tub were the cherry on top. We can't wait to return.

Great place to stay to unwind and reconnect. The pool, spa, and ammenities were perfect and everything was easily child friendly for my 8 month olds. The dogs loved the property - quail, deer and ravens. 5 stars!

Second stay at this property

This is the second time we stayed here and it was just as great as the first time - which is why we came back. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, wine and snacks provided upon arrival. It was absolutely wonderful! Thank you!

Brilliant Spaces

Brought my parents to see Yosemite for the first time and this home was the perfect place to do it! Plenty of room, privacy, and offers literally everything you need. Beautiful property with above average amenities.

Great Getway Spot

We loved staying here. Chris and her husband were so amazing! The house and property were beautiful. Our pups had a blast. We also loved how it was so wheelchair accessible. We would definitely like to come back.

Absolutely love this property, very peaceful and clean. Beautiful setting, quiet neighborhood. Host very friendly and welcoming. Love to come back. Only one desapointed pool was out of season and not heated, wish host mentioned that in listing. Other than that we had a wonderful time. Thanks a lot.

Dogs had a blast!

Beautiful property. Perfect for our two dogs and two little ones. Plenty of space for us all to spread out. The house was clean and the owners were very nice and responsive. Highly recommended. Hope to return soon.

Oakhurst weekend

We came to visit family and the property was perfect! A large house with everything that we needed. A beautiful yard that was perfect for our pets. Loved the little extra things provided that made our stay exceptional.

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to the mountains with family and our pups! The pups had the best time and the yard and property were absolutely amazing and built with dogs in mind. We were so close to Yosemite and just a 10 minute drive to the shopping centers. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the home and would love to return and also squeeze in a day trip to Yosemite next time.

This property was beautiful and had the perfect location. Close enough to town but still in the forest. We get snow but not too much. Oakhurst is a family friendly town and welcomes travelers with open arms. Beautiful, easy drive to Yosemite or explore historic Hwy 49 with it's rich mining history.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Location, location, location! In the forest, but only 45 minutes from a city. We can still do a beach trip in one day as we are only 3.5 hours from Monterey Bay. We are right outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park, who can ask for more than that.
