The Hula Hut in Vilano Beach - Pool Home one block to the beach

Welcome to the oldest house in Vilano Beach, built by August Heckscher who In 1926, built the Grand Vilano Casino, a Mediterranean Revival-style building on Vilano Beach. Big name bands from New York, vaudeville acts, theme parties and dances were hosted here. The Casino didn't survive florida weather but this lovely casita did. Tastefully updated and furnished to promote living a relaxed, surf, and beach inspired life, at least while you are on vacation. The home has 2 large bedrooms, two living spaces, dining room, kitchen, and 2 bathrooms, one of which is outside, conveniently located next to the pool.
Downstairs there are the two bedrooms, one with king bed and one with a with a pull-apart king bed meaning you can use it as a king or 4 twin beds. There will be one bedroom upstairs that is locked, vacant and used as storage. The living room has plenty of furniture for lounging, a couch, and a record player. The pool is small but refreshing. There is no pool heater so our winter time guests get to use it as a plunge pool. And according to Dr Health Benefits.Com, the increased blood circulation from the cold plunge releases endorphins. And more endorphins released makes for a more relaxed you.

Perfect & Fun Rental

The Hula Hut home is beautiful, comfortable, and set up for a fun vacation. Have fun at the pool/outdoor living area or go just one block to the beach. The owners have added details like robes in the rooms and beach/pool equipment for all to use. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. The home is well-equipped all around. The owners worked with us to get in the home early and we really appreciated that.

Lovely spot for a St. Augustine Getaway

The Hula House was a perfect spot for our vacation. It was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated for our two families of four. Very family friendly with thoughtful touches to welcome little one like the playroom upstairs. Travel cribs and high chair weren't on site when we arrived, but the property manager was super responsive and hand delivered the gear along with in an hour of our messaging. We loved doing cold plunges in the pool, and our kids didn't event seem to mind the temperature. Hula House has everyone you need for a beach outing, and we made use of the wagon for the short walk to/from Vilano Beach. Also super helpful to have the Publix around the corner. 10 min drive to old St. Augustine, and 10-20 to other nearby destinations. Vilano is a quiet little neighborhood, and beach is a quick walk away. Thanks for the great stay!!!
