Despite the stormy weather during our visit to Camp Runamuck, we enjoyed the quiet lakeside cabin for a relaxing weekend. We found everything we needed for a nice getaway.

The cabin is very well furnished with anything you need for cooking, bonfires, grilling, etc. It’s located in a nice neighborhood about 10 minutes from downtown Guntersville. If you’re looking for a cabin getaway for the family

Great lake house - Easy access and deep water for swimming/boating right off the dock. Ample room for hanging out (screened porch was a favorite!) … lots of beds for sleeping (mattresses definitely on the softer side) … a well stocked kitchen and lots of vintage pieces/memorabilia! Had a couple of small hiccups but host was very quick to respond. Would stay again!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at this lovely lake cabin! It was cozy and functional for our group of 7 adults. The younger adults enjoyed having a separate space pn the lower level. We did not cook but noted that all of the tools were on hand, plus games and puzzles, canoes and kayaks! We docked our boat easily though, as noted in the description, the access to the dock is for fit folks. My 87 year old parents enjoyed the views from the screened n porch rather than make the downward and upward trek. Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay here at the lake house. As a family of four with a small dog, we were all able to spread out and enjoy the space. I loved the antiques and decor of the house. All the rooms are thoughtfully decorated. Janet is a great host and makes sure that you feel welcome. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the future!

We would definitely rent this house again for a family fishing trip! The house was clean, family friendly and the host was easy to contact. Check in was super easy. We actually got to check in early which was a plus.The home was well stocked with anything and everything you would need for your vacation especially if you like to cook your own meals.The screened in porch was perfect for early morning coffee watching the sunrise and late night relaxing looking at the stars!This was the perfect home away from home!

My friends and I absolutely loved this place, the view was beautiful and the location was prime. I love the Guntersville area and we are already discussing a return trip!

My family totally loved this home and lake access. Hostess was quick to answer questions and made our stay wonderful. Future stays are definitely in our plans. Kids loved the pier and swimming. Stairs in yard are great.

Great Place

This lake house is perfect for a weekend getaway to fish. Only one tv in the house, which I like because there’s so much to keep you occupied during your stay. We would love to stay again.

I can’t say enough how lovely and relaxing this cabin was. We felt at home immediately. The decorations take you down memory lane. Plenty of gathering spaces and room to be together or relax on your own. Our goat was gracious and very accommodating. Thank you so much for allowing us the experience. We would love to stay again.
