Our group really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was clean and comfortable upon arrival. It was very close in proximity to several great places to eat and some fantastic golf courses, as well as being close enough to enjoy a day at Pigeon Forge.The only things I think may be able to be improved upon was some light general maintenance. The pool table needed felt/bumper repair so we weren’t able to use it, and the hot tub was inop which is something we were very much looking forward to after 36 holes of golf. The host was very responsive and did his best to correct the hot tub issue but our stay wasn’t long enough in duration to allow for a repair. (He did offer a small refund for our inconvenience though) Other than that just a few small things around the house, some hardware on cabinet door hinges and door knobs that need repair and small stuff like that. Overall a very pleasant stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again in the future the next time this location comes up in our group outing rotation,

Thanks for your review . Glad you enjoyed your stay and you’re very welcome back. I tried to set an affordable rate for my 4 bed 3. 5 bath cabin. Hard sometimes when a guest just prior to you damages something like the pool table and they messed with the hot tub settings. These were both fixed but yes after your short stay when I could get the repair people in. I hope my courtesy refund helped. Nice time of year to golf in the mountains. ! Jason

The cabin was nice and roomy. Our problem was, I thought with 3 full baths 6 of us wouldn’t take long to get ready to go anywhere. Boy was I wrong there was absolutely no water pressure anywhere. Showers barely trickled. Upstairs toilet didn’t flush half the time. Couldn’t do a load of laundry and wash dishes at the same time. Very disappointed!!!

Hi Angela, I completely understand that. In late June we had a drought and heat wave that lowered the water table and that clogged filters with sediment in the entire east ten mountain area. I’ve had my well serviced and a new filter installed and the water pressure is now very good as you can see from other reviews. I did send you a refunded amount to account for your water pressure issue and was quick to do this. My goal is satisfied guests and I have maintained a super host status for 3 years. My water pressure may be the best in the neighborhood now as I have upgraded my I take capacity and have removed the clogged filtered when the wells were all struggling with that east coast heat wave. That pressure issue unfortunately occurred during your stay but I had no control over that and could only offer you refunds for your short stay.

Thank you for your review! Glad you enjoyed what has become my favorite place to be myself! A beach in the neighborhood would be cool. I'm defiantly more known for my views of the porches, real log cabin experience and peace and quiet up on that hill. I take my family to some of the nicer public beaches or find my own places.... A nice 30 min drive on the North shore takes you by Molly's ice cream and on to the Dam and beach which is very scenic. I've heard there are brand new docks and fishing piers in the historic town as well now. I need to check them out. Also, can rent pontoons out of the local Marina (Swann's) and this is perhaps the best way to spend a day on the water...

Wonderful stay

This house was amazing the veiws quite relaxing beds were comfortable plenty of space wild life and close enough to all kinds of things to do surrounded by water so you can gonfish swimming rent a boat homeowner was excellent in responding back gave us great idea of places to go property and house was very clean

Very nice location

We enjoyed this quiet stay in the mountains, Jason is very responsive which is always nice when staying on a property for vacation. We liked walking around the neighborhood and seeing the deer that roamed around.

Awesome Place!

Place was as advertised and super nice! We stayed for a fishing tournament on Douglas Lake and we were able to squeeze 5 trucks and boats in the driveway with some maneuvering but it worked out well! Inside was nice with 4 king bedrooms, nice living and kitchen area. Had everything we needed and more! Hot tub was an added plus as well!

Host: can’t ask for any better: seriously. This guy needs to buy more, so more people can have him as a host. Cabin had essentials and extras. Clean. Instructions left for you and host is literally a phone call a way. View from pool table area is amazing. Porch area is great. Family table is huge. Windows and doors are great for Mountain View’s.

Our Tennessee Smokey Mountain vacation was an exciting time.

Our experience with renting this property was awesome. The owner was available for questions before our visit and was very friendly. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. I would recommend this cabin for rental.. my family and I made lots of memories..

Family gathering in the Smokies

We had an excellent stay. The property was amazing with awesome views. The Cabin/House was very comfortable and well appointed. The owner was fantastic. Several communications from him before during and after our stay to ensure things were going well. I highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit the greater Smokey Mountains Douglas Lake area.

Family Tennessee Football Trip

Nice place. Everyone had a great time. Only constructive feedback that I would add is in the downstairs full bath would be to add in some safety bars for the elderly/handicap to be able to grab for stability.

Great Mountain/Lake Getaway

We had a 4 night stay with the family to celebrate my parent's 60th anniversary. The cabin was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and the bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses. If you need anything, Jayson is quick to respond. If you are looking to enjoy time on the lake or just hang out in the Smokies for a while, I would definitely recommend.

We are originally from RI but now live in Charleston SC. I grew up with my family taking us to so many National Parks as a kid and the memories made are wonderful for families. I love the mountains and the water and wanted to find a vacation home that had the best of both! Dandridge/ Lake Douglas was a dream come true. It is also close to all the things that my family loved from many vacations to the Smoky Mountain National Park, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Such wonderful places to map out any family vacation! We hope our guests can make this cabin their own home during their stay to relax and enjoy with family and friends as they plan exciting day excursions. You may also want to just sleep in each day , take in fresh mountain air and beautiful views (Mountain and Lake) and abundant wildlife to get away from it all for a while! Dandridge is also a really quaint old TN town. I love the Tinsley-Bible Drug Store where you can go back to 1950 for an ice cream soda counter and breakfast booths. So much to love about this cabin and location aside from the obvious marina's, boating, fishing, and tourist attractions nearby (Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, National Park, etc.). We hope you love this area as much as we do. As new management/ owners we are also dedicated to making this experience as perfect as possible for our guests. Most Sincerely, The O'Hare Family!!!

Location …. Near one of the USs most popular lakes (Douglas)… close to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood and National Park but away from the traffic / no light pollution up there. Starry skies and relaxation .

Boat / camper parking is not always easy on the mountains. This cabin has excellent roads into the development, is private on top of the ridge but great spacious parking on a private drive up to a larger. cabin and car port with endless views.
