Cozy House During Michigan Ice Fest

My team had a great stay during the Michigan Ice Fest! The house was beautiful, cozy and had everything we needed for a great long weekend. Very conveniently located in Munising to local businesses and access to the Ice Festival!

Great Home in the UP

The is place was perfect for what my family of 4 needed during our MI road trip. Plenty of space to spread out, a convenient location in town with restaurants and grocery options, and easy access to outdoor adventures. The property was clean and well stocked. We will be back!

Perfect vacation

Great location in downtown Munising, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise Dock. Beautifully remodeled house with plenty of room. Short drive to several waterfalls and beaches.

Perfect Get-a-way in Munising!

The house was very clean with great amenities. It is walking distance to so many restaurants and local attractions. And, it’s a short drive to surrounding hiking trails and beaches. We had a great time visiting the area and will definitely stay here again! Thank you for your hospitality!

A great place to stay!

It was nice to have a house that was within walking distance to many of the gift shops/stores, restaurants, and Pictured Rocks Cruises. We definitely enjoyed our stay and the house was welcoming and comfortable to stay at. The property owner was very prompt on answering our questions during our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect house near everything!

The house was perfect for us. Clean, centrally located to get to all the beautiful things Munising has to offer. The owners had an awesome binder with recommendations. My kids loved going to the Dairy Queen right next door. Easy walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Lovely accommodations, central location

We headed to Munising to explore the area and found amazing scenery and activities. Lisa’s property was lovely and comfortable and perfect to come to each after each day of sightseeing. Kids loved the huge TV and proximity to DQ. Parents appreciated the clean and pleasant atmosphere, well-stocked kitchen and central location.

Good Trip

Close proximity to restaurants and the marina which was of particular interest to us as we brought our own boat. Parking was sufficient for our vehicle and trailer. Nice clean place.

Lovely Home in Munising

The home was just as advertised and very clean. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our family vacation. We especially appreciated the black-out shades in the bedrooms. The house is in a great location, close to many great restaurants and a short drive to Pictured Rocks. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect

This home was the perfect spot for our family's trip to Munising. The location allowed us to walk everywhere. We rented E bikes, took a boat tour, hiked, and shopped. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. The house is incredibly clean and comfortable. We loved the combination of the old charm with all the modern amenities. 5 stars plus!

Fantastic home for a family trip to Pictured Rocks

Our family had such a wonderful time exploring Munising, the Pictured Rocks, shipwrecks, and Marquette while throughly enjoying this charming and comfortable home. Being so close to the center of town was a huge perk for us - as was being next door to DQ, if we're being honest! ;) This home is very clean and updated along with tons of character and closets! Thank you for being such great hosts, with the welcome treats and the helpful recommendations. We really enjoyed it!

Lovely Home!

We loved our stay! The pictures don’t do the space justice. The space is wonderful and easy to navigate. We had our family of four and my in-laws with us and never felt like we needed more space. DQ next door was a treat, we went every night. The fire detector in the kitchen is very sensitive, I set it off every time we used the stove or burners. We will definitely stay again!!

Amazing stay in Munising!

Our family had an amazing stay! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need! Home has recently been renovated and is stunning, so much attention to detail. The beds were all very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for all six of our family. We LOVED it!!!!! And the Dairy Queen next door was a huge hit! Plus, we were able to walk to all the shops and a few restaurants in the downtown area. So fun! Pictured Rocks was stunning, we especially loved the views from our hike on Chapel Loop.

Vacation

Everything was good, except we did not have use of a grill until the day before we were to leave. I have a suggestion about going upstairs. There needs to be another railing on both sides. It’s hard to go up and down steps if there isn’t railings on both sides. It’s hard for people who have had joint replacements, otherwise it was great. Just a suggestion.

Nice home

The listing is exactly as described, no surprises there. Communication prior to check in was great. The home is directly on Highway 28 which was a little noisy. Could hear trucks and cars and zooming by all night which made it difficult to sleep. As described in listing, its right in the DQ parking lot. Like....cars parked right outside the dining room window. Keep the blinds shut and no big deal though! Bed in master is VERY soft....like sucks you in. It was convenient to visit pictured rocks. We would not stay here again due to the street noise.

Awesome location, super clean, great hosts!

Awesome home, gorgeously renovated, amply furnished, and with all the modern conveniences. We especially liked the decorative window charm, beautiful window seat, large kitchen, and the overall clean fresh look and feel of the home. The colors relaxing, couches very comfy, and the master bed had a nice pillow top. The welcome gift on the table and little things like throw blankets and night lights were a very nice thoughtful touch and are an example of the attention to detail that this homeowner exhibits. The home does experience some road noise during the day and next-door traffic at the Dairy Queen. But the nights are nice and quiet, and the DQ does not open until midday. The home has very nice privacy and blackout shades. Walking distance to most everything. Loved it. We would highly recommend this home to others looking for a wonderful stay as they visit pictured rocks!

What an absolutely delightful home!

The pictures (which are awesome) don't really do it justice until you're actually in the space. Once you're inside you can tell how much love and sweat were poured into every inch of this house. It was clean, neat and tidy upon arrival. Location wise, it's easily within walking distance of nearly everything in downtown Munising. It sits right next door to, quite possibly, the best Dairy Queen in the nation, in my opinion. Lisa, the owner, was attentive and quick to respond. When we arrived we had forecasted highs of 88!!! Lisa, checked in on us and got the A/C running. Apparently the breaker in the basement had been turned off in the Winter and it wasn't needed until we arrived, lucky us. All in all, this was the perfect place to stay for our UP excursion. The next time we head up there we will plan our trip around the availability of this house. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Munising masterpiece

This property is amazing. From top to bottom, you have everything you'll need and more. The finishes and decor are stunning and they went all out with high end items. The owners thought of every little touch to make sure your stay perfect... they even left little treats from the area to welcome us. The location is perfect if you're looking at exploring the immediate area, and it's a short car ride to Marquette. It's a small walkable town and you must check out gallery coffee and Tracy's restaurant. We also rented a pontoon boat and spent half a day looking at the pictured rocks, which was a sight to behold. The only 2 things we can recommend to the owners would be to add a non slip surface in the upstairs shower, and an additional hand height railing on the inside wall of the staircase to the 2nd floor. Honestly.... this house is magnificent. We will stay again when we come up from sunny south Florida!!

I grew up on a resort in Au Train and met my husband here as his parents had a summer home on 16 Mile Lk. (He's a cheesehead from Wisconsin) We enjoy the outdoors, boating, fishing, side by side riding, hiking, etc... We are new grandparents and enjoy sharing all that we love with them and our family.
