Whether you prefer relaxing by the lake with stunning views, cruising the nearby trails, or exploring the beauty of Nicolet National Forest, there’s something for everyone.

Not an outdoor enthusiast? You can visit Woodland Trail Winery for a delightful wine tasting, or head over to Northern Perks Coffee Shop in Lakewood, WI for a cozy coffee break.

Escape to our charming lake home located on Gillett Lake in Mountain, WI. This peaceful, private, no-wake lake is the perfect spot to relax, with direct access to ATV/UTV trails for outdoor adventures.

Pet-Friendly: We've decided to welcome your furry friends! (An additional fee applies for pets.)

Great location for a nice quiet getaway. House was super clean and fully stocked with all the essentials. The brick patio area with a fire pit was a great place to relax.

The house was as expected in the description. It is a very peaceful area. The lake is small and it feels like it’s your own lake! We rented the pontoon. Our grandkids loved that! It’s very easy to take it out to swim or fish. We did catch enough fish to have a fish fry one night! The house is supplied very well. The host was wonderful about getting back to me right away when I had a question. Thank you Jocelyn!

Had some problems with entering the code it was hard to read the numbers on the lock. The house was fully stocked and very welcoming. The neighbor paid us a visit and asked if we had any questions but when we told him our family had properties for years by Anderson Lake and my grandparents use to own the The Tip Top which is now the Salty Anchor. Everyone enjoyed and was very pleased. Thank you so much for everything.

The property was beautiful. Pet friendly we cooked all our meals on site. Played games in the dining room. I would say that was my favorite room.

Perfect long weekend

We had a great time swimming, fishing and boating in the area. Loved the property, it was perfect for two families with kids.

Kids had a ball on the lake. They enjoyed the kayaks and swimming. We enjoyed area river rafting. The accommodations were great. It was a nice getaway.

What a relaxing stay on a lake in Wisconsin is all about

Terrific hosts with a great property on a delightful little lake. Amenities were excellent. Recommend the pontoon, and bring your fishing gear. Hearing the loons as evening fell was the best.
What's not to love about a setting like this.

The property is beautiful and very peaceful. The lake is a no gas motor lake, so it is very quiet and very clean. The fishing is great. Plentiful pan fish for all that want to feel a tug on the line. Great for kids. Not much of a beach for kids. Hard to swim without going out from shore quite a ways. The kayaks were nice to use. We brought a canoe to use and that was very nice to use for casual fishing. The lake is small enough to paddle for adults or kids. And the connection to Little Gillett Lake was fun to explore. The loon family went from two to five during our stay and watching and listening to them was nice. Inside the sleeping, bathroom and indoor entertainment was great as was the outdoor grilling and fire pit. Nearby activities like hikes, beaches and adventures to towns for ice cream and food was excellent.

Jocelyn made the check-in and communication process a breeze. The accommodations were as described. The pontoon boat was a huge hit and a must. The water is clear and great for swimming off the boat. Everyone really enjoyed the bar/game room in the lower level on the one rainy day.

Summer Vacation 2023

Great friends winter getaway

Very nice place!! Plenty of room for people to sleep. The bar area is very nice the dart board was fun. The built-in cribbage board and dice cup was nice too. Beautiful view of the lake from the house. Caught some fish. Having the three bathrooms was nice with having 7 people.

Beautiful Lake Escape

This was a perfect place to enjoy the quiet lake and had everything you needed to relax. Very cute decor, spacious, nice beds, the TV was huge, the kitchen was well stocked, nice grill, plenty of seating and a VERY fun space from dock to driveway (basketball hoop!). LOVED it! ❤️

Snowmobile

Beautiful property. Ate at Maiden Lake Supper club and it was delicious. Can access trails within two miles, nice that we didn’t have to trailer. Plenty of room in drive for our 24 foot trailer. Enjoyed the downstairs game area.

summer stay

We rented the pontoon boat and were out on it almost every day. Fishing great for catching small fish and there were lots of them! We did catch enough pan fish for a meal. Water was great temperature. There was always a great breeze on the lake. We enjoyed the house and especially darts. Great areas for relaxing and comfortable for resting.

Deep decompression

This is a perfect place for unwinding from all the cares of the world. Our host was super communicative and helpful. The house was clean and spacious. It’s not much of a swimming lake, but really good for fishing and kayaking. The neighborhood is peaceful. We had everything we needed there for nine days of peace and relaxation. We hope to be back again sometime.
