Hidden Beach - the perfect place to stay in Key West

Hidden Beach Unit 3 - In Old Town, just 3 blocks from Duval Street; this property sits on Key West’s only natural beach. Hidden Beach is right on the Atlantic Ocean nestled between Key West’s best restaurant (Louie’s Backyard) and the beautiful, luxurious Reach Resort. Check it out on Google maps. Don't forget to zoom in.

Here, you can enjoy spectacular views and sunsets from one of the islands only private beaches or you can stroll through Old Town, an amazing architectural and botanical treasure. It is a short walk to many of Key West’s best attractions including the Butterfly and Nature Conservancy, The Southernmost Point, Hemingway House and the very cool Key West Lighthouse Museum.

The sculptor Seward Johnson and producer/writer Joyce Johnson created this property for their family and close friends, but are now offering it to a select group of discriminating visitors.

The property is nothing short of fabulous! The lady that manages the property (Lisa) is a terrific host. The property was spotless and well stocked for our week of fun and adventure. Checking in was very simple and straight forward. This property offers the absolute best privacy and beach side views available in Key West along with all of the conveniences of a resort via the arrangements made with the resort property next door. My wife and I can not imagine staying at a more perfect location for a week of fun and relaxation in Key West.

Key West Paradise

Well it is really hard to verbalize this private paradise. It was like heaven on earth. Private beach, one of the best restaurants in Key West right next door, so clean and well stocked with anything you may need. The view alone was absolutely unbelievable and the two porches made you want to stay outside most of the time. The furnishings were so perfect and just made you feel so cozy. The only thing is the fact that this unit stays booked a lot. I’m not even sure how we were able to get it for 5 days but we did and we are hoping we can go back sometime.

Week long get away

The place was beautiful, peaceful and Lisa was very attentive to our questions and requests. It's off the rowdy Duval path just a touch, but still very convenient. Will stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Best!

The best location, accommodation, and value! We had our own private beach and balcony, along with a third-story rooftop view of the sunset every evening. We could walk or bike anywhere on the island. Lisa was very helpful and took great care of us. The unit was spotless and very well furnished. We stay at Hidden Beach whenever we are in Key West if it's available. It's a guaranteed success for your trip!

The location, the views, the amenities….all were top notch. I cannot say enough about this place. Truly a hidden gem on an amazing hidden beach. Lisa our host was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. I can’t thank her enough for making our experience seamless! We will be back!!!

Absolutely Amazing

The best compliment I can give, is to say we will be back the next time we are in Key West! Beautiful apartment with everything we needed. In a quiet area that we enjoyed but still close enough to walk to touristy areas. We walked some and also did ride shares. Plenty of golf cart, scooter and bicycle rentals available as well. We loved sitting on the balconies and relaxing. My husband especially enjoyed the crow's nest for a better view of the area. Excellent communication with Lisa who answered any questions I had. Lovely architecture and furniture made for a homey atmosphere. Loved it!

Séjour magnifique!

Tout était parfait! L'emplacement au bord de la mer, petite plage privée, accès à l'hôtel voisin pour la plage et la piscine, près de Duval Street, etc. On y retourne c'Est sûr!

Great place to spend the holidays

Nice property, well maintained, beautiful sun rises. Very close to everything. Consider renting a scooter to get around; easy to park and tons of fun

Pleasant and Private

Great place to stay cannot get closed to the beach, other than the tropical storm that hit our second day the property is great for two people, the property staff is the best very responsive. Louies backyard next door food is great along with our favorite of Red Shoe Island Bistro excellent.

Perfect Paradise

Hidden Beach was an adorable place, extremely clean and had everything we needed. A close walk to the greatest restaurants and adorable shops. It was amazing having access to The Reach Resort which is 10 steps away. The private beach is perfect. Lots to do and people are very friendly. We will be back. We stayed for a week and were not ready to come home. Lisa is awesome! xoxo

Lovely and Relaxing

We've vacationed in KW many many times over the last 30 years, and this was the best stay. The room was large and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the water. The kitchen was small but well-equipped and functional. All was super clean. Neighborhood is great - quiet but quick skip to Duval if that's your thing. Being next to Louie's Backyard was a plus for happy hour and a bowl of conch chowder. Any questions were answered promptly. If you read about the seaweed - yes, there is seaweed but that's the ocean - and if you're visiting the ocean, you're one lucky dog!

Wonderful and quiet place!

Very nice and clean place and quiet. We loved this place, ideal situation to take a walk, go to the beach and discover this town. We come back next year 😀 an oasis to rest while having plenty to do and visit nearby
