Welcome to your Mountain Home - The Hilltop Chalet!. A 1970's authentic rustic log cabin secluded in the forest and in the heart of Chalet Village, Gatlinburg.
Nestled in the gorgeous Chalet Village, this stunning 4 bedroom home is the perfect getaway for lovers of the outdoors. Relax and enjoy on one of 3 large decks or soak your worries away in the hot tub while enjoying the nature around you!
The space
4 miles to the Great Smoky Mountain park entrance and 3 miles to Gatlinburg downtown, the location is unbeatable with spectacular hiking trails, skiing at Ober, whitewater rafting, restaurants, shopping and more!
With hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing and more. Come experience all that The Great Smoky Mountains has to offer us.

The Hilltop Chalet is an authentic log cabin built in the 1970. It is a huge (over 3000+ square feet) cabin. It has an old world charm to it, if you are expecting a perfect modern home with newer finishes, it might not be the home for you. If you are looking for a rustic cabin in the woods, this is the one cabin for you!
There are 3 large decks, 2 living rooms, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a game room & a theatre room.

Kitchen - the cabin comes fully stocked with pots, pans, blender, spatulas for cooking, cups, plates, bowls, spoons, forks, knives. We also provide an assortment of spices, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer

OUTSIDE

The yard area has a stunning fire pit area (adorned with string lights) to relax and make s'mores with the family. There is also an inviting hot tub to soothe your body at the end of a tiring day.

Our home is pet friendly! We kindly request a $100 flat fee per pet. Two dogs max please. If you bring your dog, we request that you supervise them while outside - our home is in a forest and there is wildlife around.
DRIVE to the CABIN

The drive to the cabin is breathtaking, you will drive thru' windy roads with views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Please drive with caution.
DRIVEWAY

We are perched on a hill, so the driveway is a bit steep. That said, you will do fine with a 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive. We can easily fit upto 8 cars (2 in each row)
CHALET VILLAGE OWNERS CLUB

You will have access to 3 exclusive clubs located in Chalet Village, Alpine Clubhouse, South Clubhouse and North Clubhouse with amenities such as outdoor swimming pools, children’s wading pools, lighted tennis courts, game rooms, and fitness equipment. The facilities also offer paved walking trails, yard games, and reservable banquet rooms with kitchen amenities.

You'll be in the mountains and so nature-related elements are inevitable like weather and wildlife. You may lose power if there is a snowstorm/fallen trees, etc. and might see bears from time to time. Please do follow all the safety protocols.

The cabin is in a rural area. While cellular internet is generally good and reliable, weather patterns might affect connectivity and speed from time to time.
*TRAVEL INSURANCE*
Travel insurance is highly recommended to help cover you for situations such as unforeseen cancelations, weather related issues, etc.

Cabin was clean and everything was in working order. There was constant communication with the host and check in/out was super easy. The hot tub and fire pit out back were perfect for the evenings. We even had a resident black bear that visited us numerous times!

We stayed 4 nights for my husbands 40th birthday. The hosts were wonderful and had excellent communication. They checked in with us several times. The kids loved the pool table and having the top floor to themselves.

Great place!
We had 9 people in our group and fit very comfortably in the cabin! Lots of activities to do and space to sleep! The host was amazing at communicating and checking in on us before and during our stay!

Wonderful Smokey Mountain getaway! Great location to Gatlinburg and the national park. Plenty of room for 14 and 2 dogs. Easy to park a passenger van. Host communicate quickly!

It was a very nice experience and have a wonderful time, from the clean and cozy cabin lots of room for entertainment and a warm hotbtube with a fire pit great for roasting marshmallows with an option of a gas or charcoal grill , also the sitings of bears from male bear to momma bear with her cute cubs, it was a peaceful experience visiting the moutains definitely will come back again

Perfect for the family
Plenty of space for our whole family. 8 adults and 3 kids! Location is great close to both pigeon forge and gatlinburgs main strip. Lost do to at the cabin if there is a rainy day.

Great Smoky Mountain Retreat
My boys and I loved the amenities and location of the house (highly recommend AWD or 4WD). I was thrilled to be able to have our dog with us. The owner has added a theater area which was a great addition. The owner was very communicative and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Overall, I would gladly stay at this cabin again and highly recommend others to stay here as well.

We had the best time!
14 of us adults stayed at this beautiful Gatlinburg stay and had truly the best time ever! It was equipped with everything we needed. We did have multiple bear sightings, which we loved, but if you’re not into that, don’t come peak bear season because you WILL be seeing bears!

Amazing!!
The management of the property is amazing! They were very quick to communicate before, during and after our trip. Our family of 6 had a blast at the cabin as there was lots to keep the kids busy from hot tubs to games and even a cute and comfy movie area. It was also in a convenient location so getting out was also easy and Ober mountain was just a short drive up the mountain. We highly recommend this property!

Great overall experience. Location of cabin was great...close to Gatlinburg and Smokies. We were a party of 11. Cabin had plenty of space and amenities to keep different age groups entertained. Plenty of sleeping accommodations and bathrooms had all necessities. Kitchen was well stocked. The firepit and hot tub were highlights for our group. There were bears around the cabin and firepit but we followed bear safety tips and had no issues. Communication with host was very personalized and attentive. Would recommend, especially if looking for rustic feel.

Perfect Family Getaway
We had a fantastic stay at this charming chalet in Gatlinburg. Our family, coming from Missouri and Virginia, found it to be the ideal spot for a much-needed reunion. The chalet was clean, well-stocked, and comfortably accommodated all us. The location was perfect – secluded enough to offer peace and tranquility, yet close enough to Gatlinburg’s attractions and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated their attention to detail and warm hospitality. We would highly recommend this chalet to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and enjoyable getaway. Our family made wonderful memories here and we can't wait to return!

Great Cabin
Our family stayed here to celebrate our dad's 80th birthday. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us and the kitchen had everything we needed.
There are 3 levels of stairs, so make sure everyone can manage them (our dad was fine!). The bathrooms could be updated, but were fine and clean.
THE BEARS! We were all excited to see bears each day on our stay. Make sure to keep your car locked and empty!

Gorgeous
This is a beautiful property nestled in the mountains. The views are gorgeous and the property is huge. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is carefully curated to meet the needs of all ages. The living rooms and bedrooms are very comfortable. They have Pac man, Pool Table, Ice Hockey set up for the kids to enjoy. It is a great touch. Wifi works well and the property is within minutes from Gatlinburg downtown. The host is wonderful. They communicate with you throughout the trip to make sure you're comfortable. Response times are amazing and they really care about your stay. When we come back to Gatlinburg, we would only stay here!

The yard area has a stunning firepit to relax and make smores with the family. There is also a hot tub to relax at the end of a tiring day.

Our home is pet friendly! We kindly request a $100 flat fee for additional cleaning. Two dogs max please. If you bring your dog, we request that you supervise them while outside - our home is in a forest and there is wildlife around.

The drive to the cabin is breathtaking, you will drive thru' windy roads with views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Please drive with caution.
