Host was very communicative. Property was clean and description was accurate. Quiet surroundings. Check in and checkout was easy. Loved her info book for things to do and places to eat.

Weekend Trip

The cabin was really nice. Liz made everything for simple and quickly responded to any questions we had. Check in and Check out were easy. Will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

This property was excellent! The living room is cute and perfect for a family or a group of friends. The kitchen is well equipped as well. The beds were wonderful and the house location is amazing. Beautiful porch to sip wine or coffee and the fire pit was an added bonus. We'll be staying here again!!

Loved this cabin!

We loved this cabin. It was clean and comfortable. I love the updated decor which makes it feel like a cheerful cottage! It felt very private with only a short drive to Highlands and Cashiers. We will definitely stay here again!

Such a perfect cabin for a small family! Location was great being so close to highlands and cashiers. We would love to come back and stay ! Liz the host is a great communicator.

Cozy and Quiet

We loved our stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and the neighborhood is very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. The porch and the out door fire pit area are lovely. We would definitely book this home again. The owner was also very easy to communicate with!

Liz was quick to respond, excited for us to celebrate my mom's birthday and just downright awesome to work with. I would certainly recommend this place or any other properties she has.

Perfect Mountain Cabin

If you are considering this property, don't pass it up. It was spotless clean (and I am a clean freak), comfortable (including the beds), well stocked, and in a great location. Tucked away for peace and quiet, but close enough to enjoy Highlands, Cashiers, and all the surrounding mountains.

If you are looking for quiet, peaceful surroundings located in the mountains near Cashiers, NC, look no more! This casually elegant cabin has everything you need for comfort while visiting world class hiking and waterfall destinations. Just minutes from great restaurants and shops in Cashiers or Highlands, but tucked away in the hills and forest. We hope to come back!

Perfect location for a get away

The cabin was so nice and clean. Perfect location to take day trips around the area. Everything you need was available from cooking supplies to lush bath towels and linens. Liz was a wonderful host and available for any questions we had. We will be back soon. Highly recommend. Stokes Ann Hunt

We really enjoyed this small cabin which was perfect for a couple and would be fine for a couple small kids also. There is only one bathroom but there is good water pressure and plenty of hot water for a shower. When we first arrived after 4 pm unfortunately the cabin had not been cleaned. This was not the fault of the host but apparently the cleaning company. The host was very responsive to compensate us but still we were tired and not expecting to have to clean our accommodations in order for us to stay there. But beside that everything else was excellent. The cabin is very comfortable and quiet as it’s located out in the country. The roads to get there are paved and in 15 min you can be back in Cashiers. Cashiers has a nice Ingles grocery and a Farmers Market for all your food needs. We would also recommend the BBQ at the Farmers Market (On the Side BBQ) for Take -Out. We really enjoyed kayaking on all the lakes in the area (bring your own boats):Lake Glenville, Cedar Cliff Lake, Bear Creek Lake and Wolf Creek Lake. All have public launch sites. A couple hikes which are outstandingly scenic are: Whiteside Mountain (15 min drive) and High Falls below the Lake Glenville dam. High Falls shortest trail is very challenging with lots of steep, often damp rock steps. There is another longer but safer trail called “Swinging Vine” off hwy 107 heading north after Lake Glenville. “All trails” has information on both or try local knowledge.

Quiet and peaceful

We loved this place. Only complaint was wifi signal was weak. We enjoyed the porch but wifi would disconnect there. Other than that no complaints.

Relaxing!

Your property is inviting and cozy. The tasteful decor and amenities are well suited for a relaxing weekend retreat. The wooded site was a tranquil backdrop for a rainy weekend, but that was fine for us, as the well equipped kitchen gave us all we needed to cook, eat, stay in, read, watch movies, and just relax. Your cottage provided for a great retreat! Thank you!

Cozy house in Cashiers

We went to Cashiers to attend my brother’s birthday weekend and found this house which was literally within walking distance to my brother’s home. Very cozy and comfortable…especially the bed in the main bedroom. Nicely equipped kitchen and very quiet location amongst the trees. Liz was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had promptly.

Just What We Needed

Great cabin for a long needed vacation This cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed and then some. Not knowing the area very well, we ask our host for ideas on where to go for food and outings and Liz was so helpful. Check in and Check out was a breeze. If you are looking for a place to stay that is clean and quiet and doesn't have a 3 page list of chores for you to do before you leave, this is it. Will definitely be returning!
