Enjoy outdoor life at this hidden jewel. Outdoor shower and hot tub make this place special. Enjoy those Texas sky's filled with stars as you soak in the hot tub. Robes and slippers are provided for the hot tub and shower. End your night sitting by the fire. Super close to the lake and river! Conveniently located minutes from New Braunfels, Wimberly, San Marcos, San Antonio and Austin. Tour our wineries and distilleries to make your trip complete. Don't forget to look at our concierge services. If you need a private driver to a concert, etc....let us know ahead of time so we can arrange. There is an extra fee for this. Great Canyon Lake Cabin

Super unique cabin, has everything you need. Comfy bed, great outdoor shower and well appointed. Communication with hosts is exceptional, very responsive! Highly recommend!

Cozy Cabin

We had a blast! Was such a lovely, intimate stay! We will definitely be back. We went for our one year wedding anniversary! We enjoyed the hot tub! The only down fall was the drive way was a bit too steep for our car to go down but other than that everything was great!

Cozy and Accommodating

We were very satisfied with our stay at The Rockmoor Cabin by the Creek! The experience was true to the description online. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The outdoor shower added to the experience- in a fun way! We enjoyed grilling out and using the hot tub. We also took the quick drive over to Comal park to swim, kayak, and play volleyball! It was a great weekend.

No sleep

Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Hot tub would trip the breaker after running 1-2 min. Frayed power cords running on top of the ground underneath the outdoor shower. Shower head would not adjust and sprayed right in your face. Had to sleep on the couch because the bed was so bad. Insurance policies imposed for extra cost that wasn’t stated upfront. Might be good for one person stay. We won’t be back.

Couple Getaway

We stayed in this quaint and cozy cabin for our birthday weekend. The property was tucked away in a quiet setting and very peaceful. It was a very clean and well decorated with all the necessary amenities. The owners were always prompt in answering any of our questions and definitely went out of their way to provide us with a memorable stay. They even surprised us with a small birthday cake!! The outdoor shower was a new experience for us and a little tricky. The internet was in and out but we weren't there to watch a lot of TV anyway. All in all it was a wonderful weekend and very relaxing despite the HEAT!! Thank you Angela and Bryan!

Perfect intro to glamping!

The owners Angela and Bryan were EXTREMELY responsive..before, during, and after our stay. If you are visiting Canyon Lake in the summer...I suggest going early in the week. It is WAY less crowded. Here is our review by category: Cabin: Boutique style cabin. 2 rooms. Main room is kitchenette and living room. Back room is bedroom. 1/2 bath inside. The shower is located outside. The outdoor shower was surprisingly amazing and fun! Please note: I love steaming hot showers and you do not need to turn on the gas more than the minimum to get a hot outdoor shower...it gets EXTREMELY hot quickly. There is a warning label on the tank. Backyard: Love the jacuzzi and string lights! There is also a fire pit but a burn ban was in effect when we visited. Owners left a great smores package that we could still use by microwaving the marshmallows. We still sat in the chairs around the pit enjoying the landscape. Location: Close to just about everything around canyon lake...about 20 min from new Braunfels. The backyard view is a wooded area. Privacy curtains around the porch which just shows you their attention to detail. VERY steep driveway. Not too many deer around the cabin but one did come to visit us! LOTS AND LOTS of deer around canyon lake. It's blissful. Cleanliness: One of the cleanest vrbo's I've ever stayed in. I love how they included soap, paper towels, broom/dustpan, dishrags, etc. THEY SANITIZED ALL THE REMOTES AND PUT THEM IN PLASTIC! I felt this was important for my fellow travelers that are grossed out by remotes lol. Things to just be aware of: No washer/dryer, adequate freezer, or dishwasher. We just packed enough clothes and bought ice for our coolers. The owners did inform me that they will need to get a better fridgerator/freezer. We could also handwash and hang out clothes out side on the hanging rack attached to the wall by the shower for the things we really needed washed. Extra touches: Included towels for the lake AND shower! Robes and slippers (get to keep slippers). Great smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash included (large bottles). Small first aid kit, makeup washcloth, razor, cotton balls, q-tips, Advil were in a little nook in the bathroom! I pretty much needed all of this...with a bonus face mask. Ziploc bags, foil in kitchen along with plenty of dishware. Concierge service: Loved the local goods basket, cheese and fruit plate, apple juice, wine, quiche and pastries!! Already at cabin! Added a special touch.

This cabin has no indoor shower or bath and the driveway is not suitable for small cars and sedans. It is not properly built and is dangerously steep.i wouldNot ever stay here again. It also had roaches.

It was very cute and cozy. Enjoyed our time there. Only slight downfall was the mattress which was way to firm but that obviously is a personal preference. Overall we loved our time there.

Pet friendly, only shower is outside and was nice, comfy cozy "full size" bed. Cool AC and fan for comfort. But super cute cabin. Decor was super cute. Perfect walk to a nice place for coffee to Kafekali & Bakery.

Alone time with Wife

Very peaceful cabin getaway. Cant see the neighbors unless you resly try to. Pizza was great that was supplied by owners. Bed was very comfortable. TVs and WIFI worked great. Hot tub was dantastic. The outdoor shower is large and is great after a long day of waliking around. I look forward to doing this again. Great value.

1 year anniversary romantic get away

This cabin on the creek was exceptional. It was peaceful. It was perfect. The hot tub, the outside shower & the cozy cabin itself. Area was quiet & serene with lots of fun just down the road. To top it off we got to checkout way later because no one had it booked the next day and at no charge. All the stars for all the things!

Fun time away from home

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. My only real complaints, and its no ones falt but my own for not paying attention, are the size of the bed, wich if i had paid attention to the listing i would have seen it was a full bed not a queen We sill sleep comfortably. And the ceader trees again my fault for not paying attention. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Perfect relaxing weekend

Cute and clean place. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Water heater for shower didnt work but didnt matter because of how hot it was outside. Would stay again.

Great place

This place is quirky and awesome. The outdoor only/propane heated shower was unexpected, but really cool. The property is easy to get to, but quiet and privare, I'll happily stay here again. The hosts were friendly and easy to reach
