Features include; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, cookbook library, ceiling fans, screened porch with picnic table, great sundeck and deck chairs, and a private boardwalk to beach. NO SMOKING, NO PETS. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place to visit. Beautiful beaches. Restaurants are limited but went to Apalachiacola which worked out fine. Our disappointment was the deferred maintenance of the property. Luke warm water in the second bath, kitchen sink faucet not stable, lounge chairs broken, one trash bag! For almost $500 per night I expected a little better.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect house for our family. When we arrived, the property was being cleaned. Suncoast allowed us to put groceries in the refrig. The rental company was very good. No other rental company had allowed this before. The colors were bright and friendly inside. Furniture was clean and comfortable. The only downside were no internet and steep stairs. Hard for older folks like us. The screened porch was our favorite place all week. We will be back.

A Wonderful Week!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third time staying at this particular property. That itself should be comment enough to let you know what we think about this house and beachfront location. The amazing view and the easy private access to the beach just a few steps away from the deck are my favorite parts of this property. I also really like the layout and decor. The property was also very clean. Check in and out were super easy and the staff I spoke with were very friendly and helpful.I do wish the owners/managers would up their game on maintenance a bit. The wooden outdoor furniture is getting quite rickety and should be replaced. Also, one of the sliding glass doors had a partially broken handle which made it difficult to use that door. I will give an overall rating of a 4 and only for this reason of needing some maintenance. Everything else is a 5.

Wonderful Location- Catch A Wave

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay again, but there were some issues. The house itself was fine in general, just a few issues: Very much in need of updates. 2 burners on the stove need replacing, the sliding door was so difficult to open, there is no way a child or elderly person could open it, also, the handle is about to break. The decking was very dangerous, especially for children, some spindles missing with nails sticking out, some loose. The hand rails going to beach not child friendly. The house would rock when the wind was blowing hard, so much that it was difficult to sleep.

Some items for repair: kitchen patio door needs new rollers, middle window in LR needs replacing, light over kitchen island does not work, outlets toward the street in the NE BR don’t work. Since rent is increasing in 2024 these item’s especially need attention.

Great location and cozy, but needs some TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beach house is perfectly located and is very comfortable but it could use some updates. The electrical is a little hodge podge and it would help to have the switches labeled. Also, many light bulbs were out throughout the house. Other items that would improve the stay - some basic house info - like how to use the tv; improved WiFi; and a tablecloth (the table is VERY sticky; it seems like the wrong cleaner was used and the varnish is now sticky).

Catch the Wave - Great Location

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was perfect. There was a sand bar off the beach a little ways and the location of the house is in the middle of a crescent shape of the shore so you can see up and down the beach for miles in both directions. Fishing wasn't great (lots of hard-head cats) but that isn't the houses fault :).The layout of the deck and walkways was awesome for beach access as well as the ability to hose off your feet both upstairs and down. Very handy!The wifi worked well (bring your own streaming device) and the number/type of beds was awesome (number and size of beds aren't mentioned in the listing which is confusing as the 3 queens and 1 king make for great flexibility). Also, There were no pictures of the bedrooms, but all 3 were tip-top!Now, for the couple of negatives. Mostly, the condition... Rods to adjust the blinds in the bedrooms were missing. At least half of the cabinets and all but one of the bedroom closets were locked. The storage room downstairs was also locked. That's been the case in about half of the houses we've stayed in, but means you have to be sure to secure our stuff from blowing away and haul any expensive stuff (bikes) upstairs after use. That was a headache. The hinges on the upstairs screen door don't work. Also, the screen to the master bedroom sliding door was out and leaned against the house. The sink in the guest bathroom was completely stopped up, but we were able to get it unclogged the first day. The deck looked a little worse for wear, but seemed safe. There was also some construction tables and lumber downstairs so it's probably in the process of being tended too. Overall, a very good location and layout (of both the house and the deck) and close to a 4 star place. $3500/week seems steep for this house in its current state.

Thanksgiving Week Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had issues with wifi/internet connection which was down on arrival and require service call to restore the service. We got a 10% refund from Suncoast. The house is comfortable and beachfront. Kitchen very well equipped. Outside grill is rusted and needs replacement, as a result unable to use it.
