Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience here, other than working with the host. The host was accommodating, apologetic, and helpful to respond to our concerns with the place. in the end, though, we did end up leaving after just one night there. We were supposed to stay three nights. Sorry to give such a hard review, but it was a pretty bad experience.

A little more context is helpful. The booking occurred just before the guest was to arrive. Another guest had checked out and the cleaning lady did not know this guest had just booked the house. It was a bad mistake and I took responsibility. The guest took photos of the house to show it was not cleaned and kept asking what discount she was going to get. I wanted to get the house cleaned or accommodate them first then talk about how I would make it right for them. They left. It was unfortunate and last minute bookings sometimes make logistics tough.

Great central location for both a hunting trip as well as seeing the sights. House was clean and comfortable. Perfectly suited the needs of 4 individuals. I would use this property again next time I visit Rapid City.

This was perfect for our stay. So close to the hospital, it was so awesome to be able to walk back and forth. The caretaker was so sweet, she made sure that we had what we needed. We would recommend this house especially if you have someone in the hospital for more than overnight.

There were a couple of lightbulbs burned out but overall, it was a very nice and cozy place. My sister-in-law is thinking she will book it for her next stay in Rapid City.

Smell of mold overwhelming downstairs so unable to use the downstairs. Floors so noisy throughout the upstairs it would wake up everyone if someone walked around or used the bathroom. But otherwise good central location and neighborhood quiet.

This house worked good for our family of 6. Plenty of space for all of us. Just be aware that the entire upstairs is hardwood flooring and in the bedrooms by the doors the floor is pretty squeaky. It is an older home, but definitely has modern amenities and furniture.The house was well stocked with all the essentials and even has extras that most rentals do not. We enjoyed our stay!

The area isn’t great. The houses in the area have trash all over. There was hair all over the house. Very nice owner and responsive. Wanted to like it more.

While I am used to 5 star ratings at this house I am sorry you found some hair. I have spoken with the cleaning lady to make sure that doesn’t happen. The key is to have a house that is consistent with the listing so expectations are met or exceeded. I will see if a neighbor has trash out.

Close to Mount Rushmore, Bear Country, and other attractions. The house was clean and well stocked. It was a great rental. I’d highly recommend it.

Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked (liked the gas range). Plenty of parking, easy to get to and great location (about 5 minutes from downtown).This house has a LOT of space. The main floor has plenty of room (kitchen, dining, living room, bedrooms, bathroom). The surprise was the lower level. Fully finished walk out basement with 2nd living room, working office space area, bedroom, bathroom, full laundry room and a room that could probably be used for yoga.This is a great place to stay.

This property suited our family of 6 very well and was reasonably priced. It was centrally located to all the parks and attractions we planned to visit in and around Rapid City/the Black Hills.

Great size and location.

Very spacious and accommodating space well positioned for trips into the Hills. The location is slightly better for trips to the southern Hills, but also works well for trips north.

Hello. My wife and I are moving to the Black Hills. We have 2 rentals on VRBO and other sites and another rental home nearby. One of our sons is a Rapid City Police Officer and lives a few blocks away. This particular house is awesome, very clean, well maintained, and all new furniture. We stay here when we are visiting as we are building a home 20 minutes away. Dan & Gretchen

Great location about a mile from downtown Rapid City which has a vibrant city center. This street has less traffic and is close to Monument Health and convenient for traveling nurses or families who are visiting loved ones in the hospital.
