Upper Riviera-private, quiet, home away from home great for visiting relatives!

Hate those extra fees when you find an affordable nightly rate? So do we..Price includes all but the VRBO fee!!!
Stay right in the upper Hollywood Riviera Village neighborhood. We have a studio with a loft and a private roomy bathroom. There is a Queen bed in the loft (up a steep ladder) and a Queen futon couch with a memory foam pad on the main floor. We are located in a quiet family neighborhood and while the studio is connected to the owners main house, there are no main shared living walls except the bathroom.
There is a keurig coffee maker complete with pods and coffee condiments and a small fridge. We are however a no smoking, no cooking establishment due to there only being the bathroom sinks that are not equipped to handle food waste.

The owners live on premises and have a small friendly hypo allergenic dog. The guest entrance is through the backyard and while she is rarely out there on her own we ask that you be conscientious when entering and exiting. The backyard is a quiet oasis to start your morning or end your day! If the dates you need show blocked please inquire as we sometimes have them blocked only because of check-in time arrangements.
We are close to Palos Verdes Walking trails, Many of South Bays best beaches and Marinas and some of the finest dining in Southern California.

Near cities of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Rolling Hills Estates, San Pedro.

Great spot in a very nice neighborhood. Close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants in Redondo Beach. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We live locally and stayed here while our house was being tented for termites- this was perfect for our needs.

Cozy surroundings

Lovely home

Owners live onsite next to this unit. They are quite friendly and very attentive. They have a dresser that is full of DVDs for entertainment, which was a great treat!

Redundo Beach Get Away

Mark and Suzy were super hosts. They have a great patio area to relax on during good weather. We were there for a week. Close and easy accessible to several nice beaches and good restaurants. We would definitely stay at their place again!

Neighborhood bungalow

Mark and Suzy were good hosts. Their bungalow was cozy and comfortable in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. This was our second stay and will stay again in the future.

Description of the property and unit are accurate. We love unique and charming places with their own personality and feel - this definitely had that. The bed loft was a fun change. It was a lovely weekend.

Perfect location, amazing hosts

We truly loved staying at this vrbo. It is an attachment to the owner’s home, between the home and garage. Completely private with a separate entrance through the back yard. Their dog, Evi, is so sweet. About a mile from the beach, in a beautiful neighborhood great for morning strolls. Plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows, and two sleeping arrangements (the bed or the couch that folds down into a bed). The mini fridge was stocked, they had a great coffee bar setup, and little table for 2. This was a very peaceful stay in a beautiful area with great hosts. Check in and check out were a breeze, and street parking is available. I definitely recommend this stay and we feel so lucky to be the first guests! I definitely will be looking this up again for the next time I’m in the area.

Great Cozy Room in Great Neighborhood

The owners, Mark, Suzy, and Evi (the dog) were very friendly and communicative, making the whole stay hassle free. The place was extremely clean and parking was no issue at all. We booked our stay in the middle of July, so it does get hot but they did provide fans for airflow. The wifi was also spotty at times but we were out exploring the city more often than not. Overall, a great place to stay that’s also extremely reasonably priced!

Great hideaway...

This is a great little place, perfect for our visit. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Mark and Suzy were wonderful, check in and out was super easy. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. Definitely will stay again.

Nice quiet studio space! Comfortable bed requires ladder climbing.

We enjoyed the friendly hosts, nice beach cities location, the clean and cute set up, and the quiet and quaint neighborhood. The only "need to know" thing would be the ability to climb a vertical ladder to the comfortable queen bed in the loft is important.

Southbay in July

This spot is in a quiet neighborhood. The owners are friendly. We had a nice chat about the high schools we went to. Very clean. Fresh towels. Perfect place for me to crash after a day out and about. I would stay here again definitely,

Comfy stay in quiet neighborhood

This is a really comfy place in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and plenty of delicious restaurants. The loft bed was fun like a deluxe version of getting the top bunk at sleep-away camp, and there is a futon downstairs if you don’t want to climb up to the loft. Mark and Suzi are both super friendly, and their dog Evi was a little ray of sunshine when we would briefly encounter her. We enjoyed the extensive DVD collection a few nights during our stay for cozy movie nights in. The neighborhood itself is very safe and quiet, and it was lovely to drive through.

Pleasant

The neighborhood was very nice and safe. Their property was quite eclectic, but clean. I had minimal encounters with the hosts, but they were accommodating. Cell service is spotty at best. I sometimes had to walk up the street to get service. The ladder to the bed loft is just a few degrees from vertical with steps below the ladder. It made for precarious midnight bathroom runs. Overall, it was pleasant if you were comfortable with the ladder.

South Bay Get Away!

We came to South Bay to see the Beachlife Music Festival and had a wonderful time! Mark and Suzy are very friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. They had bikes we could borrow to cruise up the beach. We enjoyed staying in a neighborhood yet a few minutes drive away from restaurants and beaches. Cozy studio and sunny patio for morning coffee! Would come stay again!
