This is a great cabin and very convenient to downtown Helen. It was perfect with a lovely deck overlooking the river. Everything was clean and well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you need for eating-in! I would highly recommend!

We had a great experience from the first communication we had with the host. We directions were exact and very easy to find…sitting right on the river with a fire pit and comfy chairs! The cabin was decorated for Fall and very clean and organized! You can’t go wrong staying here! Keith and Lynne

We have stayed with David & Gail Greear numerous times one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The cabin is so lovely has everything we need perfect location to walk into town right on the Chattahoochee River. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved the Helen Riverside Cabin! Great walkable location to everything in Helen with a very nice riverside so we could sit on chairs in the river or up on the bank watching tubers go by. We spent a lot of time sitting on the covered back porch listening to and watching the river and tubers. The cabin is well appointed and stocked and we needed nothing. Perfect for two couples visiting. We would definitely stay again.

I almost hate to give a review just to save this gem for us. But this place is so beautiful, peaceful, and close to the action when we were ready for some Oktoberfest. You cannot beat the price for the quality of the house and location! We'll definitely return for a nice get away in the Spring. We didn't get to do the float trip, but with the Chattahoochee right behind the house, we got to enjoy watching people having a great time with their friends/family.The host was friendly and quick to reply to any questions. We love, love, love the patio and the patio chairs! So comfy and nice to sit, rock, and enjoy a glass of wine.2 blocks walk from Betty's grocer and another 2 blocks from too many amazing restaurants.

Fantastic spot on the river.Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Gas grill on back porch was spotless as was the entire cabin. Will definitely aim for a repeat.

The cabin is always clean and well stocked. Area around the property is beautiful. Feels as if you are in the woods and we enjoy seeing and hearing the people rafting down the river. The porch overlooking the river is great. The neighborhood is very quiet and the walk to town and Betty’s store is a very short walk. Highly recommend this property.

Great cabin, great location, great time! We had an amazing time on our visit to Helen. Part of what made it great was the cabin. It was clean and cozy and had much to keep us entertained. We loved being by the river and relaxing next to the fire. The location felt quiet and secluded, yet it was a short walk into town.

Relaxing and quiet. Close enough to walk to Main Street. Enjoyed the porch and listening to the water. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed the coziness of the cabin.
