Great place! Convenient location and a nice quiet neighborhood. Drew was excellent at communicating and making sure we were ready for our stay. Home is well appointed with a beautiful backyard. Will definitely stay here again.

Great visit

The house was very comfortable, we had a great time. The fire pit and game room were fun,location was great for us.

The Modern Family Getaway in Harwich was just what we were looking for. Drew is an excellent host and very responsive to all of my questions. When the batteries in the front door keypad went out, Drew had someone over to replace them first thing in the morning on a Sunday! Harwich is central to everything we wanted to see and do on the Cape. The home was well suited for bringing the dog. We’re hoping to book this home again next year.

Very comfortable house!

Everything was as it looked. House was very comfortable and clean. Arcade room was very epic and an added bonus. Only downsides were the coffee maker was not great and also there were no beach chairs to use. All houses we’ve rented from in the cape have always had them. Otherwise it’s a very nice property, indoors and outside. Down the street from the house (walking distance) is Long Pond so be sure to get a town beach sticker to all of Harwich beaches. Thanks to the owners for a great stay !

Misrepresented in pictures especially deck and fire pit area. Broken bench, chair and wood stove. Clutter on top of fire pit. Cushions on deck furniture dirty and wet. Grill dirty - we had to clean before using. Inside primary bedroom toilet set broken. Ceiling fan didn’t work. Window sills in all rooms dirty. Linen closet disorganized. Secondary bathroom with tub couldn’t get water to come from tub faucet to fill tub for kids baths. Kitchen poorly stocked - no oven mitts, no food storage products. Products under kitchen sink unorganized. Sorry to give so many negatives but hopefully goats will improve conditions for future guests. Positives include great open space in living, kitchen and dining areas. But couch had a lot of stains. Game room in garage was awesome. Couch in den also stained. Beds were comfortable but no dressers in bedrooms. Twin bedroom did have under bed storage which was good. I hope you make some updates as this house certainly has potential to rate 4 or 5 stars but it was very disappointing for us, again especially the deck and fire pit. Another positive was Jeff from the management company who was very responsive to my concerns.

Ranch home with first floor bedrooms was super useful for those in our family with mobility issues. We enjoyed the game room, nice walks in the neighborhood and the proximity of Long Pond Beach.

Works for groups

My family and I enjoyed our stay in East Harwich. The beds were quite comfortable and the layout worked for us a family. Despite the pictures, the bathrooms are quite dated and the living room has seen better days (and I would ask the cleaning company to do a more through cleaning of the bathroom drawers and shelves, there was a lot of hair). Overall, I was expecting the house to be a bit more updated than it was although I do have to appreciate the photographer. The outdoor space was very nice and it was quite convenient to the beach at Long Pond which my girls loved. Also to note; there were quite a few carpenter ants inside the house but they only started showing up at the latter half of our 10 day stay so pest control works for like a week or so. All in all, the house has a nice layout and with some minor improvements, could be truly delightful.

Great stay on the cape

Very clean and comfortable house in a central location. Plenty of room for the five of us. Beds were super comfortable. Proximity to Long Pond is a big plus. Would definitely recommend.
