Looking for a romantic getaway? Or a place to take the family and unplug for a little while? The Rustic Ruby is a peaceful retreat in Blue Ridge GA that will help you unwind and focus on what matters. Surrounded by trees with a small lake in the backyard, The Rustic Ruby is a tranquil spot to enjoy the outdoors and relax.

Our Amenities:
• 4-person hot tub
• Custom firepit - bring firewood!
• Large dock overlooking the water
• 2 gas fireplaces with 1 in the master bedroom
• Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, place settings, glasses (including wine glasses) and children’s place settings
• 2 queen beds & 1 pullout sofa bed
• Smart TV’s with a large DVD library
• Stocked bathroom; we provide towels, wash cloths, make up remover cloths, soaps, shampoo, conditioner
• Outdoor dining area
• Propane grill and utensils; we provide the propane and a grill brush for cleaning
• Games, both indoor and outdoor
• 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge
• Responsive hosts! This is our family cabin and we want you to enjoy it as much as we do!

Come stay at The Rustic Ruby and get away from it all. Relax in the 4-person hot tub on a screened in deck. Enjoy roasting marshmallows or hot dogs in the custom fire pit. Sip coffee on the dock and listen to the sounds of nature all around you. Play some cornhole or throw a line in the water and catch some fish. We have bass, trout, catfish, and bluegill. Maybe you'll get to see the ducks as they visit throughout the year.

The internet is slow here which is a great thing! Escape from the emails, get the kids off the electronics, and explore the surrounding areas. We are 15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and most local activities including hiking, water sports, wineries & local craft breweries, horseback riding, and a sasquatch museum! Plenty of great restaurants in the area ranging from fast food, pub fare, and fine dining. There is even a place nearby where you can drive a tank!!

Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

Never Disappoints, We Hate Leaving

My husband and I spend every anniversary getaway here. It’s only been the third time, but each time we end up back even if we briefly consider another spot. The scenery is perfect, privacy is perfect, and a porched in hot tub?? Can’t get better. I jokingly said we need to just sign up for an annual membership. It’s our favorite spot.

The Rustic Ruby was exceptionally clean, comfortable beds and furniture. Sitting on the porches, swinging by the fire pit or fishing off the dock was just the comfy hug we needed. The cabin had all the accommodations with a few extra special touches that made us feel welcomed. Hope to return one day and enjoy this special gem.

We had a nice time at the Rustic Ruby. It’s a very pretty property, with a small pond in back. I did not see mention of slow wifi in the property details, so we were disappointed that we couldn’t connect to wifi or watch the Georgia Bulldogs play. Firewood was not provided for the fire pit. Had we known that, we could have brought something with us rather than purchase there. We were not successful fishing as many others had noted in previous reviews. But, we had fun throwing a line in anyway. Overall, we enjoyed our time together, celebrating my dad’s 85th birthday.

Little slice of Heaven

Everything was even better than expected! This little cabin is perfect for our family, the beds are comfy, the fire pit was perfect to roast s’mores, and the fishing was great!. My boys caught the biggest catfish ever and probably a total of 15 fish! It has truly been an unforgettable family trip! We loved all the little extras you have put into making this cabin stay feel like home. The s'more basket, the coffee pods, the dishes and cookware, the towels snd extra blankets- Y’all didn’t miss a thing!

We loved our 3 night stay! We caught and released over 20 fish! So much fun watching the squirrels play in the trees and seen deer everytime we left and come back to the Rustic Ruby!

Anniversay trip

We had a much needed relaxing stay at the Rustic Ruby. It took one night to fall in love wirh the property. It was tucked away but still close to everything. Wgen we get the chance to sneak away again we would 100% rebook here! Beautiful property and wonderful hosts! Everything you beed for a getaway!

Great getaway

My boyfriend and I needed to get away from the city for a few days and we had a great time staying here. It rained a little bit, but we enjoyed the hot tub and watched dvds. Very much enjoyed fishing off the dock and using the fire pit. Would love to come back!

We absolutely love the Rustic Ruby. My husband and son fish all day, while I sit and swing and read my book. It’s so peaceful and has everything that we need. We have made this our home away from home for four spring breaks in a row. We are ready to book for year five!

Beautiful!

We all absolutely loved our stay here! The property was private and clean and had every ammenity you could need! We did wish there was a little more seating as the living room and hot tub only sat 4 and we had a party of 5;however, the stay was completely amazing and we would most certainly return!!! Also, the hosts were extremely helpful and very fast to respond to any questions and concerns I had. Would definitely recommend this property.

Tranquil Setting with Fire Pit and Hot Tub

Our stay at The Rustic Ruby was peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub each evening, overlooking the pond. No loud noises. Deer dining in the yard at dusk. Ten minutes from the train ride in Blue Ridge. Plenty of dining options there, too.

We fell in love with The Rustic Ruby because it is peaceful! You truly feel relaxed and away from it all. Plus, the Blue Ridge area is a wonderful place to explore. With so many adventures to be had nearby there is always something new to see or do. The scenery, hiking, horseback riding, and water sports are everywhere. You're never more than a few minutes away from an adventure. The food is great and their are many wineries and craft breweries to visit. The area is great for families and for couples looking to get away from it all.
