Welcome to the Paradise Palms Penthouse! Plan your getaway to this brand new, spacious, beautifully furnished lakefront townhome on Grand Lake St. Mary’s in Celina, OH! This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhome boasts spectacular views of the lake AND pool and is perfect for a unique and relaxed getaway in what will feel like a tropical, Key West village right in the middle of rural small-town USA! Tucked away in a private oasis but still in close proximity to many shopping, dining, and entertainment options!

As you approach our “Key West” style penthouse, you will be greeted with a welcoming covered front porch that guides you into an airy, fully-furnished, open-concept living space that features a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of counter space along with a dining area suitable for memorable meals and late-night card games! We even provided you with a variety of games that will keep you entertained even on those rainy afternoons!

The living room is the perfect spot to put your feet up and relax after a long day on the lake. You can flip on the smart TV and sign in to your streaming account to catch up on your favorite show all while still enjoying the beautiful view of the lake outside of the window. Cable & internet is also provided. **The living room couch pulls out into a queen sleeper for extra sleeping room.**

As you continue through the townhome, you will find the master bedroom and spare bedroom upstairs – both are furnished with queen beds and their own private bathrooms. Enjoy a pleasant and relaxing night’s sleep on quality linens that are fully laundered between each guest, from sheets to blankets and coverlets. Enjoy a peaceful morning with a fresh cup of coffee on your private master bedroom balcony that overlooks the lake and pool. These views can’t be beat!

Guests are not only provided with all linens but also plenty of bath towels and separate pool towels. There is also a full-sized washer and dryer in the laundry room attached to the garage area.

**BUT WAIT, there’s more!** The top floor of the penthouse provides the best view of them all. The third floor has an attached balcony that overlooks all of Boardwalk Village and Grand Lake. This extra space is perfect for entertaining, watching your favorite team play on the big screen TV, play shuffleboard, and even mix your favorite drinks at the dry bar. There is also a spare bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom on this floor.

Stop over at the community grilling area next to the pool to grill up your favorite meals for you and your friends and family. You can also dine or relax on the front porch while overlooking the lake and pool – just one of the many great perks of staying at Boardwalk Village is the VIEW!

Guests do not need to check in at an office or lobby. They will receive a personal door code that will activate at the time of check-in. Boardwalk Village guests will have access to both pools, grilling station, outdoor dining area, and green space. Free parking is also available for guests (parking pass(es) provided in each unit).

Celina (voted best hometown in Ohio!) is home to 10,000 residents and Ohio's largest inland lake, Grand Lake St. Mary’s. It’s a great location for boating, fishing, or taking part in one of Celina’s many summer festivals. You will be within minutes of several local restaurants and Celina’s downtown area, where the west edge of the lake contains a wide boardwalk, suitable for walking or bike riding while enjoying the lakeside view.

BEDS: This unit sleeps up to 8. On the main floor, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is 2 bedrooms upstairs on the second floor, each with a queen bed along with 1 bedroom, with a queen bed, on the third floor.

PARKING: This penthouse comes with 2 parking passes that are provided inside the unit. If they are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75/each to replace. There is also an attached one-car garage on the lower level of the penthouse that you can park in. No additional parking passes will be given. If additional parking is needed, please contact the host. Parking at BOARDWALK GRILL is prohibited unless you are dining at the restaurant.

POOL: We will provide 8 wristbands in your unit for each guest to access the pool areas. If wristbands are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $50/each to replace. We also provide a key fob that gains you access to the pool when open. You will be able to access both pools with this key fob. Pool access is for staying guests only.
*Pool Season: mid May-end of September (time frame may change depending on weather)*
*Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty. Guests use the pool at their own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur in the pool area.*

PETS: This unit is NOT pet friendly. However, we do have select units that are pet friendly at Boardwalk Village – Pelican’s Perch, The Captain, 769 TH, 771 TH, Sandlot, Glistening Gem, and Sunny Shores.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: At Boardwalk Village, we pride ourselves not only on our superb service but the quality of our units as well. With that, a $250 security deposit will show as a pre-authorized/pending charge on your credit card prior to your check-in. This is to cover any broken, stolen, damaged and/or irreplaceable items, and smoking anywhere inside the unit. This pre-authorized/pending charge will fall off of your account if none of the above happen. If the cost of damages exceeds the $250 security deposit, the additional amount will be charged to the card on file.

CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. This also applies to any reservation date changes. When booking through Airbnb, the cancellation policy is a 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.

ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFO: You will only be charged 50% of your entire reservation amount upon booking (unless your check-in is within 30 days). The final 50% will be auto-charged 30 days prior to check-in.

BOAT RENTALS: Helton Lodge Boat Rentals is located right here at Boardwalk Village! Helton Lodge offers rentals for pontoon boats, kayaks, paddle boats, golf carts, bicycles and more!

BOAT DOCKS: Dock spaces are available for rent for $25 per each day of your reservation if you are bringing your own boat. If you are renting a boat from Helton Lodge, you do not need to rent a dock as one is already provided.

BOARDWALK GRILL EVENT SPACE: Boardwalk Grill has an ideal rental space to host a variety of events! Enjoy their private upstairs room for FREE with their regular menu if you have a party of 25 people or less. Charges are applied and the catering menu is required with parties over 25. Events include but are not limited to family reunions, bridal/baby showers, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, retirement parties, company gatherings, holiday parties, etc.!

UPPER DECK SPORTS BAR: located within Shipyard Sports and Event Center, just 0.6 miles down the road from Boardwalk Village, offers a golf simulators, full menu and bar that overlooks a fieldhouse where you kids can run and play (if no leagues/tournaments are going on)!

FITNESS CENTER ACCESS FOB: An amazing fitness experience awaits you at Innergy Fitness, located inside Rush Sports Complex. By purchasing an access fob add-on at check-out, you'll get 24/7 access to top of the line cardio + strength equipment, a dry + infrared sauna, and access to their innovative fitness classes! The cost of the access fob add-on is $5 per fob per night of your reservation, so you are able to access the Innergy Fitness facility throughout your entire reservation. If it is not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75 to replace.

BLUE GOOSE SHUTTLE: Hop on the Blue Goose and let it shuttle you to all the local events, bars, restaurants, and shopping locations. The Blue Goose travels on a route throughout Celina but it even offers group event rides if you call in advance. Don’t worry about driving anywhere during your stay at Boardwalk Village!

DREAM DIPPERS: If you're looking for a sweet treat, head on over to Dream Dippers, located right next door at our Boardwalk Marketplace. Their hand-made waffle cones filled with their delicious ice cream is a must have! They also offer milkshakes and coffee for you to enjoy as well!

COCONUT HUT: located in the Boardwalk Marketplace, is open and serving up island vibes, delicious food from the Sub Shack, and tropical drinks, Tuesday through Sunday until 9pm! It's a lively, laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere we've created for guests and locals alike - and we hope you'll come check it out!

WEEKLY/MONTHLY OFF-SEASON DISCOUNTS:We offer a 15% weekly discount if you stay 7+ nights and a 30% monthly discount if you stay 30+ nights. These discounts are valid during our OFF-SEASON months only (October-April). Better Than Anticipated

Boardwalk Village, Grand Lake, and Celina were better than we envisioned. The property was very clean and perfectly appointed. There are fantastic restaurants nearby in downtown. We enjoyed seeing the deer, rabbits and other wildlife close by at the park. We will visit again.

Great Lake House

The house was clean and neat. It really felt like we were at a “beach house.” There was plenty of room for everyone and the ample bathrooms were nice. The hosts provided a great binder full of information about the area. Checkout was so simple. The pool was nice and the view of the lake was incredible. There aren’t really any true beaches in which to swim in the lake, however, so definitely consider renting a pontoon boat for a day or two. The Armstrong Space Museum and a bowling alley in town were perfect for a rainy day. We also went to the water park in Wapakoneta for a day and had great time. We’d look forward to coming back for a long weekend!

Nice getaway on the lake

This townhouse is new, clean and in a great location. Did not get to take access of the pool or outdoor areas as it was very cold out. Also, if you do have 8 people, the pullout couch was on the first floor with only the half bath access. It would have made more sense to have that located on the third floor where there is access to full bath. Also, just note the noise from street is very noticeable in the bedrooms. Otherwise great property and host was easy to communicate with.
