The location was great, they recently installed ac which was amazing it stopped working but they promptly sent someone to fix it. It was a little older and not quite as nice as the photos showed. Also a ton of the dishes were put away dirty which was off putting but over all we enjoyed our stay

10 day stay in Kihei

Nice amount of space for a family of four, easy walking distance to beaches and shops, overall good experience. Would have liked a few more beach items stocked in the unit like boogie boards or beach umbrella.

Fantastic location and great value

We were a part of a wider family group who were staying in other properties nearby. This was a perfect location and size for our family of 5. The property itself was clean and exactly as described. Thank you to the owner!

Great location

It was our first to Maui so we weren't familiar with the area. But as it turned out, Kihea was a great choice as was this VRBO property. There are both residents and visitors in the complex and everyone properly observed the quiet hours.

The condo should not have been rented in the condition in which we found it. Significant electrical issues: circuit breaker kept tripping, lights and power outlets not working, tv’s not connected, termite infestations in living room furniture, grab bar in one shower loose, screw protruding from one twin bed headboard. The property management company was very apologetic and tried to remedy the issues and finally gave us a discount for all the inconvenience. Nonetheless, it was the worst experience we have ever had using VRBO

Mahalo for your feedback and we’re very sorry your stay was impacted by these issues. This was the first reservation following a recent remodel that included new flooring and newly installed A/C units. While the unit was inspected prior to arrival, a couple of unforeseen issues surfaced once the systems were in use, including a Spectrum connection that required a technician and an electrical interaction with the new A/C installation. Once reported, our team worked to address the items and coordinated with vendors as quickly as possible, and a discount was provided for the inconvenience.

Central location in Kehei and walking distances to nice beaches. Unit was clean, lack of AC was not an issue while we were there.

Great location.

Nice and clean, great location. Just had a problem with a flickering light in the master bathroom and slow drain in the second bathroom shower. I would of like to known ahead of booking that the owner was a real estate company.

Overall this condo is in a great location, clean and well maintained. The grounds and pool area are beautiful and it is very quiet at night. We did report an issue with the Blinds in the living room as there was a broken rod when we arrived so we were unable to close them which allowed the sun to shine directly in to heat the place up, however no one came to fix the issue. Couple of areas of improvement would be to have a safe in the condo for storage of passports etc. and the place definitely needs to have air conditioning installed (even a stand alone in the bedrooms would help) The bedrooms were very warm at night, the fans didn't really make a difference, and for that reason we likely would not book this suite again.

Amazing Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing experience renting a condo from you. The location is perfect; just steps away from the beach. Close to a little mall/malls for shopping and a few very good restaurants within walking distance. Clean very quiet and perfect location. Very helpful landlords if you need anything. Kihei Akahi

Even better than expected! They provide everything you could need, as if you were at home. Beautiful property, great location, and very friendly staff! Check in and check out was so easy, keypads so you don’t have to worry about who has the key. The only thing is there is no a/c but they did provide plenty of fans and opening the door and lanai for a cross breeze helps a lot. Oh and please get regular pickle balls, the foam ones are junk.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived late but the instructions given via email was very helpful. The place was spec and span, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and the living room are well organized, perfect for our short stay. It’s walking distance to the beach. It is quiet, the only sound you hear are the chirping birds. The office staff were likable. I highly recommend this place

Kihei Akahi C-319

The property showed signs of typical wear and tear associated with its age, but was very clean. All essential amenities were thoughtfully supplied, including cooking utensils, condiments, bathroom toiletries, bath and beach towels, as well as laundry and dish detergent. The property is conveniently within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, cafes, and a general store, although you may need to drive approximately 5 minutes to reach the nearest grocery store. Only noticeable problem was no A/C unit, which was not a big deal. Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable with no issues to report

Ok rental

Wasn't quite the view, but was a nice place. Would have rather had hardwood, didn't even think to look at that. There were a few issues. They gave us a cooler to use which was beyond broken. The bathtub was very noisy and felt like you were going to fall through the floor. We also did not get the six loads of detergent. There was maybe one. We had to buy our own.

Nice trip. Loved the resort

Unit was not clean. Had to communicate more than once on issues. The lanai chaise lounge furniture is very dirty and the furniture pads need to be tossed out. The lanai patio door was dirty and the screens were dirty also. The cleaner did come out and have to clean them. There was a smell in the kitchen we couldn’t find.

Recommend!

The location is ideal. Across the road from Kamaole 2 beach, walking distance to shopping, and central to travel. We've stayed in West Maui before but didn't enjoy the amount of travel to explore other beaches and towns. If you like to explore, Kihei is ideal. The unit has a garden view lanai with a beautiful view of Haleakala. We didn't miss air conditioning with the main door screen and the cross breeze from the lanai. The additional fans made the rooms comfortable in the high 28-29 degree (90s) heat. It accommodated a family of four nicely. We were greeted with plenty of information to get us settled amid a bowl of Hawaiian goodies. The unit was very clean. The bathrooms are in need of an update, but we were not in Maui for the unit bathrooms! We would definitely recommend and plan to return, if possible, on our next trip.
