A Slice of Heaven is a well kept and very clean rental. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time on the front porch. Very convenient to walk to downtown area. A storm was expected and the host alerted us and even delivered flashlights in case the power went out. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental.

Cute house in great location

The house was charming and very comfortable. The check in process was very smooth and communication from the owner was great! We have young kids so being able to walk to town, the beach and a park was fantastic.

Pleasurable

My wife and I spent 5 nights at Slice of Haven and were very impressed with the overall experience at the cottage. It was very well kept and decorated and very clean. We especially enjoyed out time on both the front and back patios. Should we return to Southhaven we would definitely come back to this beautiful home.

Great getaway

We used this VRBO for a girls trip reunion. It was perfect. We enjoyed the front porch to sit, chat and catch up. We could easily walk to downtown, the beach and more. We had plenty of space for the four of us. We used the grill one night and had dinner outside on the back deck.

Great experience

We loved our stay at "A Slice of Haven". The location is perfect for walks to the beach, downtown, and kids corner. Our group consisted of grandparents, parents, and two kids aged 3 and 5. It was such a fun surprise to find toys under the twin beds in the kid's room. They haven't stopped talking about it. The home is well stocked and very clean. The living room was perfect for our family, and the outdoor space added an extra get away for play and conversation.

Hey Amanda, thank you for taking the time to leave us such a sweet review! It's awesome that the whole family enjoyed the house, and that the kids got such a kick out of the toys in the home! The back yard is such a wonderful place to gather and spend time during the evenings, too, I'm glad to hear your group took full advantage of it. We're here if you're ever thinking of a return trip! They have bikes

Slice of Haven is wonderful. It's a great location. Close to the beach and downtown. When speaking with the property manager, she said there would be no beach towels no bikes nothing for the beach. On our very last day I found in the garage bikes wagon for the beach. We had beach towels and there were beach toys. So my only suggestion would be that the property manager get familiar with the house otherwise it was a wonderful stay.

Hey Janet! This is the first I'm hearing of that garage being opened; as far as I was aware, we haven't had access for at least two years!! The new owners must have gotten it unlocked, which is awesome news! I'm glad you guys were able to enjoy some of those amenities, and we will definitely circle back for another inventory inspection to tackle the garage! All the best, Shores Vacation Rentals

South Side Stay

The house matched the description except for the picture of the pristine patio area. My family loves spending time outdoors, so we were looking forward to the patio. However, it was littered with sticks and leaves. We called the rental agency and asked for a broom, which was delivered. No offer was made to clean it up. We did it. Other tha that, the house was clean and comfortable. It's an older home, but has been updated. It is only 3 blocks to town, and the neighborhood sidewalks are great for taking walks.

Cute house, great location

The location is great proximity to downtown and the beach. The decor is beachy farmhouse, which is a great style for us. The porch was great but beware of the HUGE spiders. We have a few suggestions to make the place even better: - upgrade the mattress in the upstairs bedroom. Our backs hurt so bad by the 3rd night. - the linens, while clean, had stains on them. You may want to replace them. - the downstairs shower needs a new liner. The bottom was orange, not white. - the dishes in the cabinet were dirty, specifically all the plates and most of the cups. Make sure dishes are clean before guests arrive. The property management company did not respond to our texts. I'd recommend ensuring someone is monitoring and at least acknowledging the texts coming in. Overall great stay, location and cute house.
