Easy walk to the beach, harbor and downtown!
Charming two-bedroom home with comfy sleeper couch (sleeps 6 total) overlooking the river and marina. You’ll wake to the sound of seagulls over the river and birds chirping in the woods while you enjoy your morning coffee on the screened-in porch. Walk to the beautiful public beach or stroll to the harbor and visit the new Maritime Museum. End the day with an evening walk into the charming town of South Haven for dinner, drinks, and a movie. The adjacent woods and large lot make it ideal for families, but the private location is perfect for a romantic getaway. The large master bedroom has a four-poster bed, and the full-size bathroom has a combo shower/tub. Plenty of closet space throughout. Delightful open floorplan with a breakfast bar and fully equipped kitchen to prepare the fish you caught on the North Beach pier!

Fall Getaway

Wonderful location for walking to downtown and beaches! Home is comfortable and bright. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch. Hosts were helpful and kind. Be aware that you need to go up a flight of stairs to enter the house. It was not an issue for us but it could be a barrier to some. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

This property is close to everything, you can just walk. My husband and I stayed for 5 days and our adult son joined us for 2. Clean property, great to sit on the screened porch. Host very responsive and nice.

Home away from home

We loved staying here. The place is very cozy and we felt right at home. Our kids absolutely loved the tire swing outside. Plenty of amenities. Location is great. We can’t wait to stay again.

Great VRBO experience!

This rental is the perfect house in an ideal location,walk to beach or down town.Very clean home, with all amenities, including all starter necessities. Love the extras; wine, tea bags, lotions, shampoo, etc. Very thoughtful. We spent most of our time in the screeb room watching deer in the little creek behind the house. The only issue was the internet was spotty which meant no email or TV for several hours every afternoon during our stay. Owner was working with internet company to resolve the issue. Would definitely rent again!

Wonderful place!!

The house/cottage is in a great place!! It was actually bigger than we needed, but it was the right price and location. The owner was VERY responsive when the TV had a connection problem. My only reason for giving a 4 star is that the bed in the small room was not very supportive to my back. I did sleep well though. I would also add that this house/cottage is not handicap accessible for anyone looking for such a place. All this said, NO complaints!!

Nice location and living room

We had a family reunion in South Haven and found the living room very able to accomodate us. Master Bedroom is very large. Location is not too busy for being so close to city center. A couple of doors were hard to close, but apart from that, didn't have mechanical issues. AirCon was very nice and worked perfectly. Loved the screened porch and the grill worked just right. Bonus was that two baby fawns were born in the gully next to the house. Very cool!

Great Location

We had a great time! We walked everywhere, the location was perfect to get to the beach during the day and to downtown at night. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location; roomy, clean and comfortable--- AND the hosts set out a nice welcome for our 4th of July stay. Would absolutely stay again next time we're in South Haven!

Great stay

We had a very nice stay! The location was good - the house was close to downtown and a short drive to the beach. The screened in porch was the highlight for us and we spent most of our time there.

Great property!

Everything about this house was great! The location was perfect - walking distance to everything. The house was comfortable and the host was super responsive (not that there were any issues - I just had a couple of questions). Would definitely stay again!

Very nice Home - Great Location

The home was in a great location with a short walk to the beach and to restaurants and locations in Downtown South Haven. It was very quiet and close to city parks for exploring. Communication with the host was excellent. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in South Haven.

Great location, beautiful home, stay cut short ....

This home is located a block from Captain Lou's and only a couple blocks from the not so crowded Dyckman Beach. In a safe neighborhood, it's within walking distance from anything you need, but still feels secluded with a small creek in the back yard. Screened in porch for relaxing. Cleanliness is at a 4 just because of a couple of nails on the floor throughout the house and some dog hair. I had to leave a day early due to bedding/pillowcases being washed in a detergent that was far too strong, or too much detergent. I had a headache, burning eyes and itching from it. The bed was also lumpy, so between the two sleeping was difficult. Both are easy fixes with less, or a milder, detergent and some foam egg carton toppers. Everything else was a breeze, as described and provided for, would definitely stay again if I knew the bedding situation was resolved!!

Amazing location and extremely clean!

We came during off-season, and this VRBO was in an excellent location along with easy access and plenty of room to spread out. We intend on using this VRBO location again!

Comfort & Convenience

Pleasant, spacious, cheerful two-bedroom home. Adequately furnished and supplied without excess. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to north beach and downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location!

The property was clean, as described and within short walking distances to park, beaches and downtown. The beds could have been more comfortable but it was a minor inconvenience. Great place to stay!

Amazing Weekend!

We loved this cottage! The screened in porch, proximity from the beach and town made makes this a great rental. The host provided everything we needed and even left us a welcome gift. We will definitely stay here again.
