This dreamy cabin in the woods has everything you need for a low-stress mountain getaway, plus!  The cabin is on Highway 221 South, close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, fishing, skiing, the equestrian center, and outdoor sports of all kinds as well as the restaurants, shops, and attractions of downtown Blowing Rock, and only 15 minutes to Tweetsie! 

The kitchen area with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances is perfect for whipping up a meal or a snack. Or cookout on the gas grill and dine al fresco on the deck overlooking the lawn, surrounded by the sounds of the forest.  After dinner, end your day soaking in the hot tub under the stars, sitting around the propane firepit on the deck, enjoying the cool mountain air, or streaming a movie in one of the two living areas, each with its own television or in the Master bedroom.

The master bedroom with King bed is on the main level and has an ensuite bath.  Upstairs there is a Queen bedroom plus two twin beds in the loft area, with a shared hallway bath.  And another Queen bedroom is located downstairs, also with a private bath. 

Keeping up with the laundry is a breeze with a full-size washer and dryer.  The home has heat and AC as well as two stone gas fireplaces.   Access is via paved road.  The driveway is steep but short.  You will treasure the memories you make at Ragland Mountain House.  Note that as reflected in the price, this is a very nice vacation property but not a very high-end luxury property.  The beautiful woodwork on the stairs sometimes gives the impression that every aspect of the property is luxury.
