Our host, Robard, was extremely helpful in providing all the useful information we needed. He responded immediately to the one minor issue we had upon arrival and we resolved it easily. The house is old, but the renovations are well done and preserve the cozy comfort of the original cottage. We cooked all our meals and found the kitchen to be very well equipped with everything we needed all was in excellent condition. There were so many nice, thoughtful touches throughout the house including a first aid kit (yep, needed a band aid), extra toiletries, coffee pods, and snacks. The outdoor seating areas would be perfect in warmer weather, but we opted for fall colors instead of summer sun on this trip. I highly recommend this home for two couples or a mixed group needing three bedrooms.

Fabulous stay. House was extremely clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything needed to fix several meals. Host promptly responded to all messages. Excellent location!! Close to hiking in Acadia National Park as well as shopping in downtown Bar Harbor. We would definitely book again and would highly recommend that others do the same.

This was the cleanest and best equipped VRBO we have ever experienced. The hosts were very helpful ahead of our arrival and the location, while on the edge of town, was easily walkable to the heart of everything. We will definitely book again!

Honestly VRBO needs a. 5star review. The house is very well kept, quality items throughout (great keurig, very comfortable bedding/pillows, extremely clean). The location is near perfect, a very easy walk into town for all the exploring you want to do. Finally, the hosts, absolutely amazing. Their response times to any questions were very fast, and without asking, they provided a lot of great recommendations (and as someone who travels here a lot, they even had some ideas I had not heard of before).

Had a great stay! Host very responsive and clear check-in and check-out instructions. House was clean and had all the amenities needed. Close to town and were able to walk to dinner each night and kids like being near the playground. Great stay overall!

Wonderfully renovated older home. Clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was very responsive to every question we had. A half mile or so walk to downtown and restaurants. Close proximity to Acadia National Park and activities. Would stay there again.

Easy walk into town

Quaint, well kept home with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Easy access to Acadia and quiet backyard to grill and enjoy the firepit.

Beautiful and comfortable home in a great location

Our group of 4 loved staying in this immaculate, well appointed house within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. It’s a short drive to Acadia and all it it’s beauty. We Wouldn’t hesitate to book this lovely property again.

Great Experience in Bar Harbor

My family had an amazing stay here! This property is within walking distance of restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. The house was clean and furnished with everything we needed. The owner is very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place, quiet neighborhood

Arrived and home was very well appointed and clean. Great back yard area and only a few blocks from town. Private parking was great considering it costs to park just about anywhere in Bar Harbor. We enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect.

Nice location and comfortable home

This house was perfect for our 3-generation family during our visit to Bar Harbor to see Acadia National Park. A short walk to downtown and all the restaurants and shopping you'll need, and also a short drive into Acadia. Everything was very clean, nicely decorated and relaxing at the end of a long day exploring. We especially enjoyed the backyard and fire pit.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again! The property was very clean and exceptionally well stocked with toiletries, paper products, kitchen supplies, and everything we needed. The listing was accurate, and the host was incredibly accommodating, with excellent check-in instructions and helpful information about the area.Our host truly went above and beyond. When we had an issue with the fire pit, he brought us a new one the very next day. On our last day, he even brought batteries for the remote, despite us telling him he didn’t need to. Those thoughtful touches really made us feel taken care of.We loved the location! We could walk to the pickleball courts at the park right behind the house, walk out the door onto the Kebo Brook Trail, and hike toward Cadillac Mountain. It was also just a pleasant half-mile walk to the village green and downtown. The outdoor patio and fire pit were perfect for relaxing.One thing future guests should know is that indoor hangout space is somewhat limited for activities like board games, and group TV viewing is primarily in the upstairs master bedroom. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s helpful to know when planning for a group.Overall, a fantastic stay with a wonderful host and a great location. We highly recommend it!

Great stay

Well-located. We could walk downtown every morning, that was peaceful. Space was clean, rooms were spacious. We didn’t use the outdoor space but it was nice to have. I enjoyed the deck outside the big upstairs room.

Nice off the beaten path Bar Harbor location

Small but cozy and quiet rental in a residential location not far from main street amenities if you don't mind a five to ten minute walk - close to shore path also which is quite scenic...smart TV with Netflix and others was a big plus too...exactly as advertised, would use again..

Amazing location, easy walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, so close to Acadia you are on the edge of the park. Host provided excellent suggestions and was unbelievably responsive. Also was a surprise that this was within one block of a YMCA with a pool, gym etc for a rainy day or for our teen boys who wanted to work out. We saw some amazing sights, bagged some peaks and came back in the evenings to a relaxing home!
