This home built in 1905 got a complete makeover in 2017. It has been updated into this attractive, captivating and beautiful home. It is in located in the heart of downtown Village of Bar Harbor and on a quiet side street.
The home was thoughtfully planned and furnished with super comfortable mattresses. The hard wood floors have been beautifully restored. It has a covered front porch, balcony and plenty of space for the vacationing family. In a tenth of a mile from this home you will find plenty of restaurants, shopping, whale watching excursion, puffin excursion, kayaking trips, three-masted schooner excursion to just name a few. Your cars can remain at the property while you take the free Island explorer shuttle to access the rest of the island. Access to the a few entrances to Acadia National park are about couple miles from this home.
FIRST FLOOR: Entryway leads to a Living Room with new furnishings and flat-screen TV with cable premium channels. It has plenty of seating and lighting. Master bedroom with King bed, flat screen TV (with cable premium channels) with its own private full bathroom. Brand new kitchen with all new steel appliances. Dining Room with table set up for six with one leaf to increase seating for up to eight people. Half Bath in hallway. Washer and Dryer.
SECOND FLOOR: Bedroom one with King bed. Bedroom two with Queen bed. Bedroom three with Queen bed, Bedroom four with a Queen sleeper sofa with flat screen TV (for gaming, netflix etc). Two full bathrooms.
OUTDOOR: Front covered Porch with wood table and chairs. Propane Grill in the back off the kitchen. Balcony of the second floor bedroom. Parking for 4 cars.
AMENITIES: Wireless Internet, Well stocked kitchen, Sheet and towels provided.

Location was great, we were able to walk everywhere in town and to the harbor. The house had everything we needed. Parking was excellent. Great to have air conditioning.

We loved everything about this property! The BEST part is the location. It is on a quiet street just steps away from everything in Bar Harbor. We walked to all restaurants, parks, the sand bar and the beautiful local grocery store. Thank you for making our week so enjoyable! We loved the house, it was lovely! We were grateful for the pack-n-play and umbrella stroller!We would return!

Everything was excellent. Wonderful location, plenty of room for five adults, and a comfortable, efficient kitchen. One of our favorite VRBO stays! Any issues that arose were handled quickly and professionally. We are already booking for 2027!

Home was in an ideal location for Bar Harbor. Typical VRBO quality and quantity of household item, pots and pans old, used and poor quality although plentiful. Plenty of dishes, towels, supplies for a large family. Beds were comfortable and clean. All appliances worked. Very little communication from Host but enough to gain access. Instructions supplied in unit were outdated or inaccurate. Wifi password didn't work. Biggest problem was the windows were filthy, you could not even see out of the front windows and the outdoor furniture was very dirty, both looked like they had not been cleaned for over a year. BBQ outside is so dirty it is unusable. Parking was convenient.

This home really had it all! All descriptions on website are accurate, it has so much room and is beautiful! Plenty of seating inside and out and bathrooms for all. It is in a great location! We walked to everywhere in town but is far enough away to not be in the middle of it all. The parking on site is a bonus

Everything about this property was amazing and would highly recommend! Perfect location—Five-minute walk into Bar Harbor & 10-minute drive to Acadia National Park.

Perfect location in the center of Bar Harbor, easy walking distance from Bar Island, Shore Path, restaurants, groceries, bike shops, etc. There was more than enough space inside and out for our group of 5, either together or doing our own things. The house was clean and well stocked.

Family vacation
This house and location was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. Great house layout and yard for kids. It was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Walking distance to grocery store, coffee houses and sand bar for daily adventures.

This home is the perfect getaway. Located on a quiet street but within very convenient walking distance from all the waterfront activities at the harbor and great restaurants. The kitchen is stocked well if you prefer staying . This host has thought of everything....

Location is ideal. We only used our car to visit Acadia National Park. Perfect size house for our family. Great space to gather but enough bedrooms & bathrooms for some privacy. Fourth time staying at this beautiful home & city.

This property is in a perfect location. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. The bedrooms worked out great with all of my family there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The owner even had some toys for my grandchildren to play with in the backyard. I would definitely consider staying here again.

We booked this property for a family trip with our three adult children and their families. The size and location was perfect. The house was very well equipped with a high chair, pack and play and an umbrella stroller. Our host, was awesome to work with and very responsive.Our family has a great week and we enjoyed our time in the house. We would stay here again.

Perfect location
Our families were able to come together and enjoy spending time in beautiful Bar Harbor. The house was so comfortable, had great amenities and was in the perfect location to walk to everything in Bar Harbor!!
