Quiet location a mile from a beautiful sandy coastal beach and many scenic attractions, conveniently located in Steuben, which is close to the Bar Harbor region and the Machias area. There are many eatery's and shopping places conveniently located from 10 minutes away to 30 minutes, we are located close to the ATV Sunrise trail, which is road accessible from the cabin. We tend to have many deer and turkeys to watch as well when you are just sitting and enjoying your time away.

This vacation rental is also available for monthly rentals in the winter months

We really enjoyed our stay at your wonderful cabin. We loved all the personal touches throughout the rooms. Our rescue dog enjoyed the cabin and the outdoors, she is very skittish but was comfortable at your home. We were also pleasantly surprised by the gift of wine , it was very much appreciated. We will be sure to recommend your home to anyone we know that would be traveling to Maine.

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day of exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and the cabin was clean and well stocked!

This is our second time staying at Rustic Pines Cabin. We enjoyed it so much the first time that when we were planning another trip to Acadia, we immediately looked to see if this property was available the dates we would be there and we were very happy to see that it was. Everything was just as we remembered when we stayed there 2 years ago. Down to the bottle of wine left on the table and a very thoughtful handwritten welcome note. The hosts really make you feel welcomed and the personal touches throughout the property are a nice touch. It was clean and well stocked. I stayed with a dog, and she was very comfortable there. She loved the raised dog bowls that were there. The host was very responsive, including allowing us to check in a little earlier than 4 since we got to the area earlier than anticipated. There is something to be said about consistency and these hosts delivered. This property is turning into my go to place to stay when I am in Downeast Maine and I will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely spot

This is a lovely spot - clean, quiet, delightfully decorated. Steuben is a good location for exploring - and the Saturday brunch at Tunkjoy Bakery is wonderful.

Beautiful location and property to enjoy with the family.

Completely enjoyed our stay at the property. Good location and it's close to Bar harbor and other scenic places to visit. The owners were wonderful and the communication was seamless. Definitely recommend this property.

The house was beautiful. Lots of amenities, easy check in, wildlife, Acadia very close by. I didn’t bring my dogs this time, however the house is pet friendly. Will stay again.

Great comfy cabin

This was a terrific cabin that had everything you could need, was spacious, and was siper clean. The hosts left a nice bottle of wine and a great book on the cabin and area - overall a really nice place!

Beautiful serene location

The cottage was very clean and warm. The location very peaceful. There are good stores and restaurants near by. We had a great time with our two small dogs.

This property far exceeded our expectations! Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, roomy living space, and amazing hosts! It was a great home base for the eastern side of Acadia.

Great area and location

If you don't like to be around too many people, this location is ideal. The best food is at the roadside stands. Don't forget to take a trip to the donnell pond public land nearby!

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful gem of a cabin! It was perfect for our family vacation to mostly explore Acadia (both Schoodic and Mt Desert) but also the many other beautiful spots near and in Steuben (including the lovely beach down the road where our kids and dog played for hours). The owners of the property are extremely communicative and helpful and we are so grateful we stayed at Rustic Pines for our vacation to Maine! It is beautiful decorated, spotless, and has everything one could need to relax and unwind. We definitely highly recommend staying here!
